Part 23: get the party started

Hey guys I just wanted to say before I start this chapter, a couple of days ago we were at 253 reads or something and now we're at 321. I really didn't expect this many reads!! Thank you so much for giving this book a chance ❤️❤️❤️

Athena's POV
I fasten my crystal necklace as I take one last look in the mirror in prom dress, so much has happened in the past 9 months, this whole roller coaster with Liam and dealing with angel's but I'm happy my heart lead me back to Liam, I'm still learning new things about him everyday and I may not know him as well as I know Axel but at least I'm on the path to good.

I never thought being earthbound would be good for me and I hated my father for sending me here but now I'm so grateful I've gotten the chance to stay here.

When I was just in Hades I thought I had it all, palace, friends, boyfriend, party but deep down I knew something was missing and that something was goodness, it was Liam, Hades taught me how to be bad but I don't want to live like that anymore.
Liam's POV
My first missionary to earth definitely didn't go as planned, human behaviour is definitely more confusing as I thought, it was even harder to get through to them sometimes.

I never even knew the basic human senses existed like: touch, smell and hearing even existed, all the different textures and scents, so different and unique to each other but now I'm all used to it.

I'm glad I got the chance to turn a bad girl good, she's to beautiful not to be good, speaking of Athena, we decided to meet each other at the venue since I didn't really want to go to all the pre party stuff.

Athena's POV
Some thing I definitely won't miss about hades are the parties but the pre party was l still really good. I walked to Harley's house because we it's practically walking distance from my house, Harley never applies makeup so I did hers and she was super thankful. I did the finishing touches on my hair and the Limousine pulled up in front of her house. We decided to book a limo with some of our other friends to the venue, the glowing led lights and loud music in the limo made everyone really hype.
"Hey I thought Axel would be here, we're supposed to be going together," Harley says concerned
I shudder at the mention of my ex boyfriends name.
"I'm sure he's already there," I say trying to forget about what he said to me at school.

The black limousine pulls up at the front of the venue, it's really beautiful, it has white roses in the front surrounding the perimeter and the back of the hall leads out to a balcony with a view of the beach, and then I see him. I see Liam looking as dashing as ever in his tux and his hair pushed back with gel, he's accompanied with his older sister Mariah wearing a green satin strapless dress with gold makeup, she looks like a goddess.
And then me and Liam make eye contact, he slowly looks me up down with a grin on his face      and mouths the word "wow" to me. "Done drooling are you?" I ask but he just chuckles "you look stunning," he says. Let's go inside.

"Let's get the party started."
