Stevie was taking time the next day to read over a script she had been given for the movie . She was a bit frustrated she didn't get to speak more or do anything more ; that she was only a love interest for Matt in the movie . She understood the theme of the movie and such , but felt in her gut there could have been more for her. 'I practically played myself a bit.' , she thought to herself. She kept her lip zipped about the matter however , knowing it would get her nowhere near where she wanted to be .

While reading , she noticed Matt walking by with his script in hand reading to himself. She smirked as she stood up , script in hand, and followed him catching up quickly from her long legs. "How's it goin?", she asked her co-star. Matt looked down at Stevie with a confused expression. "I thought you didn't like me.", he mused with a cocked brow. "Doesn't mean I can try and make things right .", Stevie grinned at him. Matt had to agree she had a point . "Fair enough Costa.", he said to her. "So, why don't we rehearse together?", she suggested. "That would be smart..", Matt looked at her with a smirk on his face . They went towards a secluded part of the property so they could focus on each other . "I'm still shocked you haven't swooned over me , most girls do.", Matt commented . It did bother him on the inside he hadn't been able to make her go nuts over his physical appearance ; his voice alone was good enough most of the time . "Yeah well...I hate to break it to ya but you aren't my type.", Stevie snickered deep in her throat. "Besides.....I don't find that many men attractive at the moment.", she continued.

That made Matt raise his brow a bit . "You a dyke or somethin?", he asked her. This caused Stevie to give him the infamous glare she had become known for on set recently . "First off don't call me that; I've had dykes as friends before that've been killed by assholes . Second of all , no. I ain't into girls..", she said . It was a lie she had easily slipped past Matt. Of course Stevie liked men, but ... she also liked women too. The reason she had been forced to leave her home a few months ago actually. Her father had thrown her out onto the porch and kicked at her screaming to "Leave! I don't want a queer in my home!". The bitter look caused Matt to gulp a bit , the 16 year old girl intimidating him a lot. He'd never admit it though. "I didn't know I'm sorry....I just was asking. Between you and me, I don't think it's a bad thing . People are just ignorant.", he said to her in a secretive manner . This caused Stevie to smile wide . "I dig that.", she said happily

They talked for an hour and told each other stories of what they'd done back at their respective towns . Matt was growing to have more respect for Stevie , viewing her as more of a badass kind of girl instead of a mouthy bitch. He was about to talk when Nick Cage walked near with a few of his friends . "Oh look...if it isn't Mr. Pretty Boy.", he teased . Matt just smirked , not someone who was easily intimidated by people. "Yeah, look at you. Your head is so full of hot air I'm surprised you haven't blown away in the wind by now.", he retorted cockily. Nick then turned his attention to Stevie . "What are you doin' with him? A pretty lady like you could be hanging with much better people .", he said . "Yeah like who? Don't tell me you're suggestin' yourself.", Stevie retorted with a laugh. "Maybe I am.", Nick said as he stepped a bit closer. "I'd rather shove a cactus up my pussy than be around the likes of you.", Stevie barked. Her eyes were wide, dancing with anger. No one was gonna walk up on her like that , and disrespect her friend . "Get outta here Nick.", Matt warned , his voice going up a bit , which was enough to scare most people . "Like I'm gonna listen to you.", Nick barked . "Listen to me then! GO THE FUCK AWAY!", Stevie shouted , right in Nick's face. "Or what?!", Nick shouted , shoving Stevie now .

This was Nick's biggest mistake at this point . Stevie's patience was lost as her right fist came into contact with his cheek, her rings pounding the cheekbone hard enough to where a smack sound filled the area. Nick's head turned to the side from the force Stevie used. Everyone including Matt was shocked ; they'd never seen a girl hit like that once . That wasn't all she did however ; she used a jab maneuver and hit Nick's nose so hard a loud popping sound erupted along with blood gushing everywhere . "FUCK!" , he yelled falling on his ass . Stevie spit at him before stalking away quickly , blood dripping from her rings .
