Song for Chapter: The Morning After by Tim Missel

The official filming process had begun a few days ago on the 12th. At the moment , Matt and Stevie were filming the scene where Rusty James came to visit Patty when she was alone at home , which meant a little bit of kissing. Stevie figured it wouldn't matter too much, not really cringing at the idea of kissing Matt. She was memorizing her lines for the scene , dressed in her costume of a collared button down shirt , denim shorts, and sneakers with a watch on her wrist.  They had made her hair big and poofy, which didn't take much since it was thick. She was a bit nervous hoping that it would go well and she wouldn't screw this up. She put her script down before walking to where Francis was calling her on set. "You're gonna answer the door, and you're gonna be a bit annoyed since he came over when he wasn't supposed to , and the fact he's been busy with everything except you.", Francis explained on the porch of the house they were filming at. "That'll be easy.", she said cracking a smile.

The cameras were now rolling and Stevie easily put an annoyed face on. She waited for the cue of her character's sister "Rusty James is here!" before opening the front door . "Hey sweetheart!", Matt smirked while talking which further made Stevie able to play the pissed part. "I thought I told you I wasn't supposed to have company tonight.", she reminded his character, looking at him peeved. "What ? What? WHAT?", his character Rusty James spat back with an equal expression. "What have you been so busy with ?", her character Patty snapped back with no hesitation. Her eyes made direct contact with his to further convey she was looking for an answer. "What have I been so busy with?", he asked back. "Yes.", she answered impatiently. "Nothin, I've just been basically hanging around...messin' around that's all.", his voice was more relaxed here . "Yeah with girls?", she directly retorted. "Girls...what are you talkin' about girls? You know I'd never do that." He replied .

A little while later they moved onto where she was supposed to make out with him in the same setting and same clothes . While waiting , Matt smirked down at her . "Ready to kiss?", he teased. "I'd rather shove a fork up my ass.", she teased back , her arms crossed over her chest. He noticed a small shark tattoo on her bicep . "Didn't know you had ink.", he said looking at it. "I got way more than that.", she smirked evilly at him. "You'll have to show me later .", he said , his voice lowering a little . Before she could reply , Francis called them to sit on the couch. The camera rolled and after Patty's sister Donna left, Rusty James said "I really missed you." This caused Patty to smile and lean in to kiss him. Stevie didn't mind kissing Matt, in fact he actually knew what he was doing . His hand went to cup her cheek as they kissed , before he got on top of her , which was not in the script. Stevie went with it , not minding the attention at all.

When filming was done for the day, Stevie grabbed her stuff and went to leave before Christopher Penn , BJ's actor , came up to her . "You did good today . Your part may not be as big, but you're really proving yourself .", he said encouragingly. "Thanks .", she said before he saw her two arm tattoos. "You get those in prison?", he asked , since that's whom had tattoos in the 80s. "No , my friend did em for me.". She looked annoyed now , her jaw clenching a bit. "Oh, I didn't know girls got those .". He said sincerely. Stevie could sense he was curious and not being a jackass so she lightened up a little. "No they don't , but I do. My brothers got em so I did the same .", she replied . He could see the shark on the bicep on her right  arm, and on her outer bicep on the left forearm , three leaves with a butterfly on them. "Well I think those are cool .", he smiled at her. "I got more of em.". She smiled smugly before strutting off to her trailer . She was stopped however by Matt scaring her ; he came from a corner and grabbed at her sides . Her street instincts kicked in and she elbowed him in the face hard before seeing it was Matt. "WHAT THE FUCK?! You scared me! I'm sorry are you okay?!", she asked going down to where was groaning in pain. "Yeah, just a busted cheek no big deal.", he sat up holding his cheek tenderly. "Come on, I'll get ya some ice.", she led him into her trailer and sat him down before grabbing some ice from her freezer . "Here.", she handed it to him before he placed it on his cheek. "Now I know not to scare you.", he joked . "I think what you saw a few weeks ago shoulda been enough.", she mused cockily. "Fair enough.". He replied . "So why'd ya go off script?", she asked with a cocked brow. "I was gettin' into it, and I wanted to make it more real.", he answered back with a smirk. She nodded her head a bit . "Aight, I get that. You're one of the best kissers I know.", she stated. "There's only one other guy I know that can kiss like ya.", she said. "Like who ?", Matt asked , a bit curious. Who was better than him with the ladies? "My old friend Martin .", Stevie sighed a bit more sadly. Matt started to ask her about him before she got up . "I need to memorize my lines , could you gimme some space?", she asked . "Sure...ya alright?", he asked with concern. "Yeah, I'm fine now go!", her tone became defensive. Matt left with the ice , puzzling over what had made Stevie upset .
