Chapter 7

Y/N's POV
We all walk back to the classroom after lunch, Alya and Nino making us all laugh. I broke away from my friends and walk toward my seat. I sit down and Alya, who along with Marinette had followed me to continue talking to me, sits on my desk.
"I wish I knew who she was." Alya sighs. "You said you'd stop looking." Marinette reminds her, exchanging a look with me. I knew how curious Alya was about Ladybug and all the other superheroes in general, but mainly Ladybug. "I know but that doesn't stop me from wondering. I know I can't but I still want to."
She sighs again and throws her head back. "Chill Alya." I tell her, me and Marinette laughing a little. "Yeah remember? Ladybug's identity needs to stay a secret so she can keep protecting Paris." "I wouldn't tell." Alya wines. "She knows that," Marinette begins. "But if you know that would probably put you in danger wouldn't it?"
(She talks almost like she is Ladybug sometimes.) I think, looking at Marinette. "Yeah." Alya finally relents and smiles. "But that doesn't mean I can't try and find out who Hawkmoth is." Me and Marinette exchange another look. "Alya that's soo dangerous!"
(She returns.) I think to myself as I hear her voice from beside me. Lila slides in to her seat and looks at Alya. "You're soo brave to want to do that. Ladybug really appreciates it." Alya's eyes grow wide. "What? Did Ladybug talk about me to you?!" Lila laughs and flips her hair.
"Of course she did since we're best friends. She thinks you're pretty awesome." Marinette rolls her eyes toward the ceiling, annoyed with Lila as usual. I'm tempted to do the same but Lila would see if I did, she wasn't looking at Marinette when she did it but she's definitely watching me. "Y/N, how are you?"
"I'm good Lila how are you?" I ask, returning the smile she gives me. "Oh I'm amazing! I'll tell you why later. Will you meet me after school for a second?" I nod as Alya and Marinette return to their seats and prepare for class to start again. "Sure Lila."
She smiles at me and turns to face the front. "Good." She says.

The bell rings and everyone gets up and heads for the door. I start packing up my stuff as Marinette comes up to me. "Hey want to hang out for a while?" She asks, smiling at me kindly.
"Sorry I can't right now, Lila wants to talk to me about something." I sigh and brush my H/L H/C out of my face. She makes a face. "Be careful." I smile up at her. "Don't worry I will."
She smiles again and waves at me as she walks away. "I'll text you later!" She calls over her shoulder. "Ok!" I call back, trying to shove the last few things in my bag. I finally get everything inside and zip it up, swinging it on to my shoulder. (Ok lets see what Lila wants to talk about.) I think as I walk out of the classroom.
I get outside and look around for her. I see students leaving the school, but not the one I'm looking for. I see Adrien wave to me as he gets in his car. I wave back and smile a little, happy to already have so many friends. "Y/N!" I hear Lila's voice call.
I turn and see her standing in a kind of shadowy spot next to the school. She's pretty much hidden which is why I didn't notice her right away. I mentally prepare myself as I walk over. "Hey." I say as I walk up, flashing her a slight smile. "Hey Y/N. Sorry I had to ask you to stay behind for a second."
"It's fine." I answer. "What did you want to talk about?" "Well," She starts. "We're friends right?" I don't know where this is going and don't really want to anger her because I'd probably have to stay here longer than necessary if I do so I nod. "Yes?" "And you know how Adrien is my boyfriend right?" I nod again. "Yes?" I say more slowly, still confused on where this is going. "So why are you flirting with him?"
My eyes go wide at this. "What?" She glares at me. "I said, why are you flirting with my boyfriend?" "I have no idea what you're talking about." I say, annoyed. I know he isn't her boyfriend and she doesn't have the right to get upset if I did flirt with him, but also I didn't flirt with him.
"Yes you do!" Her voice rises. "I saw you and him laughing together!" She shoves me against the wall and stares directly in to my E/C eyes with her own green ones. "You're such an awful person Y/N! I trusted you and you hurt me!" I push away from her. "Get off of me! I didn't do anything!" She glares at me again.
"Stay away from Adrien Y/N, he's mine." I just glare right back at her, not backing down. "I won't stop being his friend just because you want me to. goodbye Lila." I turn and walk away, furious about what just happened. (She thinks she can scare and guilt me in to not being his friend? That just shows how little she knows about me.) I walk home, worrying a little about what she'll do tomorrow. I sit next to her in class and I may now have to deal with angry Lila, that's probably even more annoying. Plus the whole class except for Adrien, Marinette and I loves her.
(If she tells them that I did something to her, they'd probably believe her over me. I just got here, they'd never believe me.) I groan and throw my head back. "Are you ok?" I here a voice behind me. I jump a little and turn to see Luka standing there. "Oh hey Luka. Yeah I'm fine." He sighed a little and sits down on a bench next to us. He starts to play on his guitar, it's a beautiful but sad and angry melody.
"You kind of feel like this right?" He asks, looking at me. I sit down next to him and nod. "Yeah I guess I'm a little upset right now. How do you do that?" He just smiles softly at me and plays something happier. "I wish you felt more like this. You deserve to feel more like this anyway." I smile at the music and close my eyes, just listening for a moment.
"I think you helped me feel more like that." "Glad to hear it." He stands up and I stand too. "Thanks Luka, I'll see you later." He nods and smiles at me, making my heart leap. "Yeah see you later. And Y/N?" "Yes?" "If you ever need to talk about anything, I'm here."
And with that, he turns and walks away. I smile to myself as I continue walking home. When I get there and go inside, I see a small black box on the table. There's a note on top of it in Mom's handwriting.
Hey N/N
I'm sorry but I don't think I'll be home by the time you go to sleep. Please do your homework and eat dinner and don't stay up too late.
Also this box was by the front door. There's a note underneath this one that came with the box. It said it was for you. Don't worry I didn't open it.
I love you and I'll see you tomorrow morning.
Mom.
I smile at the note, still loving the fact that she leaves them for me when she won't be home. I pick up the other note and just see my name. (What is this?) I think as I pick up the little box and stare at it. "What are you?" I ask it. I decide to open it after a second.
My hand moves to the lid and I open it. I jump as a small ball of light flies out of the box. It turns in to a small creature. I let out a cry of surprise as it looks at me. "Calm down, you're alright. I'm not going to hurt you." The creature says, raising a tiny hand.
I look closer and see it's a tiny wolf. It's gray and soft looking with purple eyes. It has a lighter silver crescent moon on its forehead outlined in purple. "Wow!" I say softly as I look at it. "Um if you don't mind me asking, what are you?" I ask the small wolf floating in front of me. "I am a kwami and my name is Luna."
Luna smiles at me and I smile back a little, she seamed nice. "What is a kwami? Why did you come out of that box?" I ask. She sighs a little. "Don't worry I'll explain everything to you. Kwamis are creatures that help humans become superheroes by going in to jewels called Miraculous. I am the kwami of the wolf miraculous which gives one the power that is called Howl." I sit down, still listening, hoping that what I think is true. (Will I get to be a superhero like Ladybug and Cat Noir and all the rest?)
"What does Howl do?" I ask. "Your howl can do many things, depending on the type of howl you make. One kind of howl can temporarily wake someone up when they've been akumitized. Another kind can calm someone, that one sounds more like a song usually, a wolf song. There are other types of Howl but you can only use it once before you have five minutes until you change back in to your normal self." "Am I going to be a hero like Ladybug and Cat Noir?" I ask hopefully. Luna nods and smiles at me. "The gardian believes you can." She goes over to the box and points inside. "Look, that's your miraculous. You must wear it always." I look inside the box to see a necklace. It's really pretty with a silver crescent moon hanging from the chaine, I really like it.
I put it on, then look back at Luna and smile excitedly at her. "My name is Y/N." "Nice to meet you Y/N, I believe I'll like being your kwami."
A/N: Hey people it's your girl Eyerus and I has returned with another chapter! Sorry I meant to write this last night but some stuff happened so I decided to wait until today.
Luna is my character that I designed a while ago. I hope you like your powers. You'll learn more about what you can do later in the story.
