Y/N's POV
After what felt like days of dying of boredom and Lila not shutting up the whole time, it was finally time for lunch. Marinette and Alya come over to me. "Hey girl." "Hey Y/N, how is your first day going so far?"
"Hey," I smile at both of them. "It's going ok so far." "You looked like you were dying." Alya laughed. "Does Lila ever stop talking? I mean she's nice but she wouldn't stop talking." I whisper so only they can hear me.
Marinette shakes her head. "No she never shuts up and no she's not nice." Alya gives Marinette a look. "Stop it Marinette. Lila is super awesome!" (Are you sure about that?) I think to myself. I could already tell that Lila's friendly facade is just that, a facade. I'd known girls like her back in America and knew how they worked.
I decided it was time to change the subject though before Alya could have a chance to sing Lila's praises even more. "Hey where's the cafeteria?" "Oh sorry we'll show you where it is." Marinette says, laughing a little.
They take me to the cafeteria and I see everyone getting Lila's food for her. "Sorry I can't cary my own tray again guys. I broke my wrist while trying to save a child and his kitten from a burning building." I snorted a little, this girl's lies were pathetic, and waited to see if people actually believed her.
"Oh it's fine Lila." "You're amazing Lila." "You're so brave Lila." I nudge Marinette and whisper, "People actually believe that?" She nods and sighs. "Everyone except me, you, Adrien and Luka." I was a little curious, I knew Marinette and Adrien, but who was this Luka person.
"Hey Y/N!" The bubbly girl from class calls out to me. "Yes?" I answer, looking at her with a smile. "We wanted to introduce ourselves. I'm Rose and this is my friend Juleka." She points to Juleka, the girl with the cool purple streaks in her hair.
"Cool hair." I tell her, causing the smallest of smiles to appear on her face. "And nice to meet you both." I say, smiling again at both of them.
Rose smiles, then points to the tomboyish girl and the boy she was talking to earlier. "That's Alix and Kim." I smile and say hi. Then Rose introduces me to the mean looking girl with the ponytail, Chlowe, the girl with the orange hair, Sabrina, a boy with a black shirt with a skull on the front, Ivan, and the girl next to him, Mylene, a shy looking boy, Nathaniel, and finally an intelligent looking boy with glasses, Max.
"It's nice to meet you all." I smile at all of my new classmates. (This could work, they all seam nice, well most of them anyway.) They all start asking me questions and trying to get to know me. I smile and answer as best I can. I look over to see that Lila doesn't look happy, but her glare changes to a smile once she notices that I'm looking at her.
Chlowe walks toward me, Sabrina following in her wake. "Move over." She says, pushing past Marinette, making her stumble a little. She comes up to me and gives me this look. "Listen Y/N, I make the rules here because my Daddy's the mayor. Don't get in my way."
I look at her for a second, thinking about weather I want to start something or not. I decide against it because I don't want my new friends to think less of me. Plus, I've met girls like Chlowe before and they had reasons for acting the way that they did. I'm not saying it's ok but I think I'll still try to be nice to her.
I smile at her which seams to surprise her. "Nice to meet you Chlowe. I'm sorry if I did anything to upset you, I hope we can be friends." Her eyes widen at what I said. "W what? You? Friends with me? Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous! Come on Sabrina." She walks off and Sabrina follows, looking back at me for a second before she goes.
"Wow how'd you do that?" Alya asks. "What do you mean?" "How did you get her to go away so easily?" Marinette asks. "It's usually harder." Alya clarifies. "I don't know. I guess she was a little freaked out by the fact that someone didn't immediately hate her besides Sabrina. From what I can tell Chlowe doesn't have many friends does she?" I say.
"Yeah you could say that." Mylene says. "But that's her own fault since she's always so horrible to everyone!" Alix exclaims, looking at me. "Yeah I can see that she doesn't really help her own case. I'm not mean to girls like her, but I also don't seek them out." I say, sitting down at a table.
Marinette nods as she sits down next to me. Rose squeals again as she thinks of something. Juleka looks at her. "What is it?" She asks quietly. "We should all hang out together after school!" She cries, looking around at all the girls. "Oh that's a good idea!" Alya agrees, smiling.
"Where?" Mylene asks. "We can't do it at my house. My parents are really busy making orders for tomorrow. The bakery is really busy right now." I look at Marinette. "Oh so your family owns the Bakery? My mom said you guys make the best croissants!" She nods and smiles at me. "Tell your mom we said thank you."
I nod and we continue trying to figure out where we'd hang out after school. "You guys could just come over to my place. My mom won't mind." Juleka says. Rose hugs her and smiles again. "That's such a good idea!"
We all agree and come up with the time. We decided to just walk over there together after school. Then lunch was over and I had to go back to sitting in the back of the class with Lila whispering next to me every five seconds.
Time skip brought to you by an Author Chan who really wishes school didn't start back up today lol
We all were walking together to Juleka's place after school. However, Mylene and Alix remembered they had plans so they weren't with us. It was me, Marinette, Alya, Juleka, and Rose.
We arrived at a houseboat, it looked really cool. "Wow I like your house Juleka." I complimented her, causing that small smile to appear again. We walk inside and all sat down. "So Y/N, how are you liking Paris so far?" Rose asks me.
"I like it a lot actually." I smile and lean back. "What's the thing you miss the most about where you used to live?" Alya asks. I know immediately what I want to say, I don't have to think at all.
"Singing." Is all I say, then Marinette changes the subject so Rose and Juleka won't ask about the singing thing, I would have been fine telling them though.
We talk for a while, then hear a knock on Juleka's bedroom door, where we all are. "Hey Sis I'm home." A boy's voice calls from outside. "Hey Luka come in here a sec! We have someone we want you to meet."
The door opens and in walks a boy. He has black hair with blue tips. My heart seams to speed up a little for some reason when I look in to his blue eyes. "Y/N, this is Luka, my older brother." Juleka says from beside me.
The boy, Luka, smiles at me. "Nice to meet you."
