Chapter 14

Y/N's POV
"Well ..." Luka shifts on his feet nervously.
"I really like you Y/N and I was wondering if you'd want to do something with me sometime." I feel my cheeks get warm. I had never admitted even to myself how much I like Luka and now he was asking me out?
"Are you asking me out Luka?" I ask him with a soft smile. He nods and returns my smile. "Then yes." My smile turns a little shyer as I try to work up the courage to say something. "I like you too Luka."
"You don't know how glad that makes me." He says softly. "I think I can figure it out." I respond just as softly, leaning toward him a little. He leans in as well and when we're an inch apart, someone clears their throat.
We jump apart and look toward the person to see my mom. "Oh Mom, hi." I say, my face hot. Mom looks from me to Luka and smirks. "Oh so this is Luka. At least he has good taste in music N/N, he comes in here all the time."
Mom knew about Luka because I'd told her about him one night when she wasn't working late. "Anyway, I'm glad you two were finally brave enough to express your feelings but can you wait until Y/N's finished with work? I don't really want potential customers to see my dauter kissing a boy over the counter." Mom laughs as she comes over and kisses my cheek. She looks over at Luka and smiles.
"Good job Kid." Luka blushes slightly. "Just come back at 06:00, she'll be free by then." Luka nods but before he leaves he smiles at me, sending butterflies through my stomach. "See you later Y/N." He says, then turns and leaves.
I stare at the door for a second, still blushing until Mom playfully flicks me on the arm. I jump and look at her. "Y yeah Mom?" "If you want me to let you go on that little date of yours you'd better start working." She teases with a smirk. "Mom!" I whine, leaning back in my chair.
"There isn't even anyone in the store right now!" "Yes but you still shouldn't be staring off in to space." Mom says, still smirking. "I wasn't staring off in to space!" "Yeah you were Hon." Mom says as she heads back toward her office.
I throw my head back against the back of the chair and sigh. "N/N." Mom says from the door of her office. "Yeah?" "He's a good kid." I blush and nod.

I sigh as the last customer walks out of the store and look at the clock. It was 06:00. I feel a rush of excitement and nervousness. The door opens and a familiar blue eyed boy slips inside.
He smiles at me and I return the smile as I stand up from the counter. "Hi." "Hi." He replies. "I'm free!" I cry, stretching my arms above my head, making him laugh.
"Well would you want to go for a walk?" I smile softly but a little nervously. "Sure." I walk around the counter and he takes my hand, sending a thrill through me.
We walk out of the store together and begin walking down the dark sidewalk. "This city is never boring." I say, looking up at the darkening sky as we walk. "Is that good or bad?"
"Both, this city is where I met some of the best friends I've ever had." I look over at him. "And you." I say, glad that it's pretty dark so he won't see my blush. He looks over at me and smiles again, we're doing a lot of that right now.
"I'm glad you came here." "Me too." I say. We end up at his house. He opens the door and looks back at me. "Wait here for a second." I nod and he slips in side.
Luka's POV
I go inside, hurrying to Juleka's room and knocking on her door. "Yeah Bro?" "Can I come in?" "Yeah." I open her door to see her on her bed.
"Hey what's up?" "Y/N's here with me." She looks at me understandingly. "Ok." She says, looking back at her phone with a slight smile.
I go back to the door and open it, smiling opologetically at the beautiful girl who waits for me outside. "Sorry about that." I say as she walks inside. "It's fine."
She smiles at me, her beautiful E/C eyes shining. "Come on I want to show you something." I say, leading her to my room. I go to my bed and pick up my guitar, sitting down on the bed. She comes over and sits beside me, looking at me curiously.
I take a breath and begin to play the song I've wanted to play for her for a while.
Y/N's POV
He begins to play and I feel myself relax as the music flows through me. I close my eyes and sway from side to side, a calm happy smile on my lips as I listen.
I begin to hum along to the beautiful melody, my voice and the sound of the guitar interlacing in the air. He finishes and I open my eyes.
Third POV, also known as the best POV since it's my POV XD
The two teens gaze at each other, loving how their music had intertwined a moment ago. "That was beautiful." Y/N says softly.
"I never thought it could sound like that, you made it perfect." Luka says, smiling at the girl sitting next to him. "I wrote the song for you." "Thank you, I love it, it's beautiful."
They gaze in to each other's eyes, leaning closer, both feeling their hearts beat faster. Finally, their lips meet in a gentle kiss.
After a moment they break apart. Luka smiles softly at Y/N, reaching up to cup her cheek. Y/N leans forward and kisses him again. He kisses her back and after a second their kissing becomes more passionate.
Y/N wraps her arms around his neck and his arms go around her waste as they continue kissing. After a while they break apart and smile at each other. "So does this mean we're together now?" Y/N asks, blushing a little. Luka laughs and nods at her. "Yes."

Ok, I have a feeling after that chapter some of you need a minute. So if you need a minute, just take a deep breath in ... and a deep breath out ... and if you need to, let out a fangirl scream. XD
I only say that because I know how I get after reading first kiss chapters sometimes. LOL
Also, I'm really sorry I haven't updated in a couple weeks! I had a lot going on with school and I wanted to get some other books updated as well.
