Chapter 11

Y/N's POV
I lay on my bed on a Saturday morning, around a week after my first experience being Timber. Luna looks over at me from where she's sitting on the other pillow on my bed, eating grapes. "What are you going to do today?"
I sigh as I look at my phone. "I have no idea, probably just chill at home or something." "What are you doing?" Luna asks, leaning back.
"Just looking back on old covers for songs." I say, looking at a video on my channel, one of my favorites. It was one of the first ones that I made, the song that people really heard. I wished I could sing it for people again.
My finger hovers over the video, wanting to play it but also not wanting to because I know it will just make me miss it even more.
A notification pops up on my screen, a message. I click it and it takes me to my messages, it's from Marinette. I smile and read what she said.
Marinette: Hey N/N some of the class is going to hang out today and go see a movie. Do you want to come?
Y/N: I'll ask my mom if I can.
Marinette: Ok let me know what she says.
I go to Mom's contact, knowing she's already at work so calling would work the best. The phone rings a couple times before she picks up.
"Hey Honey, what do you need?"
"Hey Mama I was just wondering if I could go hang out with my friends for a while today."
"Of course N/N. I'm so glad you've already made so many friends!"
"Me too Mom, I'll talk to you later."
"Ok bye N/N."
"Bye Mama."
I smile as I hang up and go to my messages again, telling Marinette what my mom said.
Marinette: Awesome! I'll see you at 01:00.
Y/N: K.
"So you are going to do something today." I laugh and smile to myself as I put my phone down. "I guess so." "Where are you going?" Luna asks as I walk to the door. "I need food."
Luna laughs as she follows me downstairs to the kitchen. I fix myself some lunch, heating up some leftover chicken from last night. As I sit at the table I reach over and pick up my phone, which I'd grabbed before going downstairs, and go to Spotify and play my very long playlist of liked songs.
I smile as I take a bight of my food and the first song comes on. I start to sing along, closing my eyes for a moment.
"Used to be your baby,"
"Used to be your lady thought you were the perfect lover."
"All the harmony went fallen out of key so now you gotta find another."
"Now you talkin crazy,"
"Sayen that you made me like I was your Cinderella."
"You and me are through though watch me hit it solo,"
"I'ma do it acapella."
I have to stop so I can take another bight. I look at the time and notice that it's 11:30 so I stop singing so I can focus on eating so I'd be ready at 01:00. (Wait where are we meeting?)
I grab my phone as I think this and text Marinette to ask.
Y/N: Hey by the way, where are we meeting?
Marinette: Me and Alya are going to come get you.
Y/N: Oh ok.
I go back upstairs, still humming along to the songs on my playlist as I get ready. I get dressed and sit down on my bed, brushing my H/L H/C hair. Once I'm finished with that I go to the mirror and look at myself to make sure I look decent.
"Ok I look presentable at least." I say as I look, making Luna laugh. "Stop it you look great!" She says. I look at my miraculous hanging around my neck, looking really beautiful.
I reach up and touch it, wrapping my fingers around it and holding it in my hand. "I can't believe it was a week ago." I say, looking over at Luna. "You did very well." "When do you think it will happen again?" "I don't know Y/N, I guess we'll have to wait and see."
"Ok." I say, grabbing my phone from the bed and heading out of the room. "Wait Y/N!" Luna calls after me. I turn back toward my room and look at her. "What's up?" "Don't you need to grab your bag so I can hide in it?"
"Oh yeah I'm so smart!" I exclaim, going back to my bed and grabbing my bag from the floor next to it and swinging it on to my shoulders. "Yes you are smart." Luna says, slipping in to the bag as I leave the room again. I go downstairs and grab some snacks from the kitchen and put them in the bag with Luna.
"Just in case I need to transform and you need food afterward." I tell her as I put the snacks in. She smiles up at me in approval. "Good thinking Y/N." I smile as I finish putting the food in the bag. "Thanks."
I go over to the couch to wait until Marinette and Alya get here. After a while I get a text. I turn on my phone and go back to Messages to read it.
Alya: Hey girl we're outside your house now. You ready?
Y/N: Yeah coming.
I put my phone in the side pocket of my bag and head out the door. I smile as I see my friends waiting for me. "Hey!" I call out as I walk toward them. They look up and wave at me. Alya hugs me when I reach them and Marinette smiles at me.
"Hey Girl." "Hi N/N." We start walking toward the movie theatre, just talking about random stuff. "Hey did Adrien manage to convince his dad to let him come?" "Well ... he didn't exactly come with his permission." Marinette and I laugh at the way Alya said that.
"He'd go even if his dad said no since he'd get to see you Mari." I teas, smirking at my friend. "Shut up!" She cries as she starts to blush. "You're probably right N/N." Alya says, joining in on teasing Marinette. "He could never stay away from Marinette." "You guys never quit do you?" Marinette asks us as I laugh at Alya's comment.
"Nope." We answer, smirking at her. She sighs and puts her head in her hands, almost falling when she does this since she wasn't looking where she was going. "No I'm not going to fall!" She exclaims, making me and Alya laugh even harder which makes me almost fall after tripping over a crack in the sidewalk since I'm laughing so hard. This makes all of us laugh so hard we have to hold on to each other for support.
"Hey you guys ok?" "What's so funny dudes?" We look up to see our friends standing in front of the movie theatre. (Wow we got here pretty quickly.) I think, looking at Adrien and Nino who had both asked a question. "What's so funny is the fact that neither of these two can walk very well." Alya says teasingly.
"Hey!" Me and Marinette give her a look. "Well it's true!" Alya says, shrugging. Me and Marinette just sigh. We're greeted by everyone then I see who's all here. Everyone from our class was here besides Chloe and Sabrina. I also see Luka and another girl who stands next to Adrien. She has short dark hair and looks kind of serious but also like a nice person. (I hope I can meet her later.) Marinette goes to talk to this girl and I'm about to go and talk to Luka but I hear a voice calling me.
"Y/N! You're here!" She jumps on me, hugging me really tightly. "Hey Lila." I say, already knowing who is hugging me. "How are you?" "Oh I'm amazing! How are you Y/N?" "I'm good."
She pulls back to look at me, still smiling that fake smile. "Hey can I have your number?" (No!) "Sure." I say aloud, knowing if I say know she'll know that she's the only one who doesn't have my number in the class. "I'll give it to you at some point." "Omg yay!!!!" She squeals excitedly.
"Also I have something to tell you." She says, her eyes flicking to Adrien for a second where he's talking to Marinette and the other girl who's name I don't know yet. "What is it?" "I'll have to text you about it. Can you give me your number now so I can talk to you about it?" (There's no way to get out of this.) I think, reaching in to my bag and pulling out a piece of paper and a pen, writing my number down and giving it to her. She smiles as she takes it.
"Thanks N/N." She says, smiling at me again. "You're welcome." I say, noticing Luka looking at me I walk over to him, telling Lila I'd be back in a second. He smiles when I get to him and I smile back. "Hey." "Hi Luka."
"You looked kind of uncomfortable over there." He says quietly. I nod and sigh. "I don't know why she always wants to talk to me, I'm not very interesting." "Yes you are Y/N, you're an amazing person." I feel my cheeks get warm. "Thanks Luka, so are you." He smiles at me and starts to say something else but Alya calls out that it's time to go in and get our tickets.
"Have you heard or seen anything about this movie?" I ask Luka as we get our tickets. He shakes his head. "Not really, I've heard it's good though." "Yeah I heard it's really good but I didn't want to spoil anything about the plot for myself so I didn't look much." I answer. As we walk toward our theatre I see Adrien and Marinette talking.
Adrien says something that makes her laugh and he looks at her with this look on his face that said he could listen to her laugh forever if he could. I smile as I watch them. Luka looks over at me. "What are you smiling at?" He asks curiously. I gesture at my two friends. "It's really cute, kind of makes me wish I had something like what they have." (You know you have those feelings idiot. You just don't know if the person you may or may not like feels the same.) I think, my eyes straying to his.
He has this look in his eyes that kind of resembles the look in Adrien's but I'm probably just imagining things. "Yeah it's probably really nice." He answers, still looking at me with that expression.

Ok I'm really sorry I haven't updated for a couple days. I had a little writer's block but I'm good now. I'll hopefully have the next chapter for you guys soon.
