MOONLIGHT IS TRYING TO SURVIVE

OH DEAR HEART AND MIND

Oh, dear heart and mind
what will I write this time?
As the verses started to flow
that burns in a passion of flames
where desire keeps dancing
with ancient romance.
An old song made new
into a modern language of the blues
leaving so many feeling used
very emotionally abused
that is stealing away happy times
where desire plays games on the mind.
The purest of the flame,
burns high in the heated up game,
that leads so many poets and poetics
to write out their fame...
this is human life
So, never give love the blame
Oh, please never feel ashamed.
Just learn from this worldwide race
A heart and a mind can receive
a lovers gift, where old Desire
comes creep in and deceive
leaving a heart to bleed.
This is popular to a famous writer
where past emotions -
can bring on commotions.
Where flirtatious swaying in the night
that brings on many fights.
The mind keeps the calculation function
and the heart keeps the blood pumping
where Love has its own commands
and its own language.
Love should never be played as a game
and one should always keep its faith
to what is truly classical
yet, is the strongest of all.
I do believe love can set one's spirit at ease
like the pure summers breeze.
yet, the heart can be deceived.
If the eyes move what is right
to a lawless side.
Desire will keep the heart lost
not thinking about the cost.
Oh, heart don't close your eyes
to lead so many blinds.
