A VOICE

Oh, I have a voice, but it takes a wise one to hear it.
I sit alone in this darkness, thinking about what I had
lost along the way in this dark and gray-
This painful life has taken all that was right
it was the light that had once seen shined so brightly in
my view, but that was way before the fall
Yet, now I had lost it all.
Oh, I have a voice that had once been silenced
that left me feeling uncertain and afraid
hoping this nightmare would soon go away.
Soon this cleverness of hope did expire
as I see so many bad things in darken dreams
where it is I always hear the screams
while the dishonest ones walk away
with smiles on their faces
they are a disgrace to me.
For decades I watch how love started fading
in the waves of anger and fear
that lasted for years
in a world of tears
I felt this coldness circulate through my veins
as the brightness started slipping away
into the darkness that roamed in the land
A place where it is I stand. Upon this earth of hate
where things are unmentionable, but you can feel
the agony of it all, where death is always knocking at the door
while you find your self beaten down on the floor
hearing the cry's blowing in the wind
as darkness cast more sins
in the private life of a grave.
Oh, I do have a voice, can you hear it?
It is unearthing as I write in my own bloodstain ink
that flows smoothly in my pen -
I see how these psychopathic is organizing crime
on everyone elves dime.
Stories have been told to the public ears
but no one really wants to hear
because they live a life of fear.
