You're My Hero || Katsuki Bakugo x OC

Chapter 1: The Beginning

A/N: Before we get started I'd like to say that I hope this story can get votes and comments because this is my first fanfiction and it would really mean a lot to me!

"Look, look!" Miyuki called, causing all of her friends to gather around her as she was showing off her newly found quirk. She had steam coming from her hand, turning it into water. Miyuki made a small bunny out of water. Midoriya stared at the bunny with amazement evident in his green eyes. The young girl smiled as everyone was gawking over the bunny before it disappeared a few seconds later. Her concentration wasn't the greatest.

"Pfft, that's the best you got?" Came a voice from behind the group. Miyuki looked around, searching for the source of the voice. Her eyes landed on a boy with ash-blond hair.

"Oh yeah? Well what's your quirk?" She asked proudly.

The boy came forward and smirked, his crimson eyes sending daggers in her direction. He showed his hands which sparks were beginning to emit from his palms.

She stood there in amazement for a few moments before coming closer to the blond boy. Miyuki tilted her head in curiosity. "Can you make it any bigger?"

"Wow Kacchan! That's so cool!" Midoriya's voice came from behind the girl. She giggled to herself while nodding, but it didn't sit well in the other boy.

"Shut up Deku, you quirkless loser!" The ash-blond was about to push past Miyuki to get to Midoriya, but she moved in front of him protectively.

"Leave Midoriya alone!" She growled, staring daggers into his eyes. He scoffed before turning away, walking to his other friends.

Despite Midoriya being her best friend, he was indeed quirkless. Miyuki didn't mind it, but not wanting to offend him by showing off her quirk. By middle school Miyuki had befriended Bakugo. It somehow worked out, her and Midoriya were best friends, despite Bakugo constantly bad mouthing him (which she always defended Midoriya).

The two talked about heroes and even studied various quirks. Whenever Miyuki hung out with Bakugo they would play fight,  heroes, arcades, and pretty much normal friend stuff.

Everything changed though, when both Miyuki and Bakugo found out they were going to U.A. Midoriya, being quirkless was not. Not wanting to hurt his feelings Miyuki didn't talk about U.A. in front of him. She didn't show her excitement on the outside, much to her dismay. When the day came, Miyuki didn't bother with waiting for Midoriya in the morning as she quickly ran over to Bakugo, the two showing up to school together.

The two teens were standing in front of the gates of U.A. that Miyuki had seen the hatred from Bakugo. Midoriya's voiced had echoed from behind her, his voice calling out their names. He ran up to the pair.

"Izuku? What are you doing here?" Miyuki asked, puzzled.

"I'm here to go to school! I'm excited for the entrance exam!" He replied, a smile plastered on his face despite Miyuki hearing the nervousness in his voice.

"...Deku...." Bakugo had a deadly aura surrounding him upon hearing the boy's response. His voice was dangerously low and Miyuki knew that it wasn't a good sign.

"That's great Midoriya! Well, I'll be super happy to have both my best friends going to the same school as me again! Come on you two, lets go!" She replied with excitement laced in her voice. Miyuki grabbed Bakugo's sleeve with her right hand, pulling him along with her. "Do you mind not being a hot-headed asshole and enjoy this with me?" She whispered, which only caused Bakugo to yank his arm away from her and walk towards the school.
