Chapter 3: Quirk Apprehension Test (part 2)

Anyone who came in last was to be expelled from school... that was on the line now.

The students of class 1-A had only just started at U.A and there was the chance that someone's dream of becoming a hero could end today. With both hands clenched into fists Miyuki glanced at Aizawa, a look of determined etched on her face. She looked around at everyone else, they all were radiating the same determination as she was; except Midoriya.

Her green haired best friend stood there, he looked like a leaf that could crumble just by one touch. She walked over to him, asking "You okay?" He didn't respond to her, it's as if he couldn't hear her or anyone else around him. It was weird.

[Test #1 - 50 Meter Dash]

The first test was a 50 meter dash, nothing too extreme yet. It's as easy as it sounds, just run in a straight line. Miyuki watched as teams of three lined up and had their turns. Tenya Iida had an amazing score thanks to the engines on his legs, Ochaco Uraraka - the girl she had met and talked to earlier had done pretty well using her zero gravity quirk and everyone else did a pretty good job.

Now it was Miyuki's turn and she just happened to be teamed up with Midoriya and Bakugo. Being in between them and now low to the ground, she glanced at both boys and smiled.

"Good luck you guys." She cheered, quickly giving them a thumbs up. Miyuki placed her hands back on the ground,  fully concentrating on the task at hand. She knew that Bakugo would be fast with using his quirk; but she wasn't so sure about Midoriya's quirk to chance it.

She made a small wave underneath her, concentrating on it fully it carried her to the end; but only milliseconds after Bakugo.

"You seem to like coming in 2nd after me Miyuki." Bakugo taunted.

"It's too soon to be acting cocky Bakugo." She laughed, punching his arm in a playful manner.

[Test #5 - Ball Throw] 

When the 5th test came around it was the ball throw that Bakugo had demonstrated earlier. Seemed simple enough; throw the ball. There were a few people who did a decent job while others went to the extreme with this one; Uraraka had gotten an infinity score thanks to her quirk. Miyuki congratulated her, that was really impressive to say the least.

Next it was Miyuki's turn, she figured she could get a good score if she focused enough on the distance. Luckily no one else in her class had a quirk like hers.

She stood in the circle, pulled her arm back and threw the ball. Immediately after throwing the ball into the air Miyuki knelt down and concentrated her energy into the ground; water started coming up from the ground, pushing the ball high into the sky. Bakugo had shouted "Nice ass Miyuki!" She jumped at his words, he tried to make her mess up on purpose!

When the ball came back to the ground her score was, surprisingly 600.7 meters even if Bakugo was trying to sabotage it.

"Izuku Midoriya, you're next." Aizawa said in a somewhat menacing manner. Iida had to explain to Midoriya that if he doesn't pass the next couple of test that he'd be the one going home. Miyuki's eyebrows furrowed with a look of worry evident on her face. She mouthed a quick 'Good luck!' to him before he took his turn.

"Can you guys believe that Aizawa-sensei was lying!?" Miyuki whined as she walked beside Uraraka and Midoriya. She stretched while walking as she had tried too hard. "Besides, it's good that he wasn't actually gonna send you home Izuku, you would've left me here with Bakugo."

"Y-yeah..." He replies, half heartedly. "I should go see the nurse." And with that he left the two girls, not saying another word to them.

"So... you and Midoriya seem really close." Uraraka stated.

"Huh? Well yeah, he's my best friend! We've known each other since we were kids. It's the same with Bakugo." Miyuki giggled to herself, remembering all the memories the three of them shared in their childhood. "Why? Do you... like Izuku?" A smirk was on the pinkette's face.

Uraraka's face had a tint of pink on it as she shook her head. "No, I was curious that's all. I think he's interesting!"
