Chapter 23: Taken

After another long day of training both classes came back to the main building; already setting up to make some food. Miyuki stood next to Bakugo, helping him slice up some veggies. Every so often she would glance over at Todoroki; feeling the murderous aura around him at how close Bakugo was. She gave him a look that said 'Calm down'.

Bakugo scoffed. "Can Icyhot stop fucking staring at me like that? I said I'm not gonna try anything." He spoke up as he continued slicing the veggies with incredible speed. Miyuki sighed and continued her part.

"Yo Miyuki-chan, veggie me!" Kaminari shouted, opening his mouth and tried catching the slice of carrot she threw his way. He missed, the carrot bouncing off his nose and hitting the ground. Miyuki laughed.

Todoroki walked over to Miyuki. "Bakugo can handle the rest of the vegetables. He seems to be doing fine as is." He didn't give Miyuki a chance to speak when he grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her away from the ash blond. Bakugo narrowed his eyes at him as he walked off with her.

Miyuki sat at one of the tables as Todoroki sat next to her. Todoroki wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her close to him. "Shoto, you didn't have to do that. I wanted to help Kacchan." He didn't say anything, instead he laid his head on her shoulder. Miyuki smiled nonetheless. "Shoto... you're not jealous are you?"

Todoroki mumbled something but it was incoherent to her. "I'm allowed to feel this way." He admitted. "You are my girlfriend, not Bakugo's." Miyuki nodded in agreement. "But Kacchan's still my best friend, whether you like it or not."

The weight of his head was lifted from her shoulder. Todoroki's fingers were on her chin, making her turn to him. The two stared at each other for a good while. Miyuki was going to ask him what was wrong but the feeling of his lips on hers kept her quiet. Crimson eyes were on the couple; furry and rage were held behind them. Bakugo was going to have Miyuki all to himself. No matter what he had to do.

The Pussycats stood in front of everyone, smiles on their faces. "We have something special planned for everyone!"

"As a reward for all of you working so hard, we decided to put together a competition between class 1-A and 1-B!"

"A real test of courage. One class will be in the woods along a trail and the other class will walk the trail. It's up to the other class to try and scare the other class!"

Everyone looked pretty excited, Mina was bouncing for joy only to have it be crashed and burned by Aizawa as he stated that only the students there for remedial studies would be doing that instead. As Mina, Sabo, Kaminari and Kirishima were leaving, Miyuki grabbed Mina's hand and smiled at her. "Good luck! I'll be sure to scare tons of people in your honor!" Mina giggled, feeling better after hearing her best friend's words.

Class 1-B was first to go into the woods and the rest of class 1-A got into pairs; due to the uneven number of students, Miyuki was paired up with Tsu and Uraraka. Todoroki and Bakugo were before Miyuki and she waved to them as they began walking. Todoroki had stopped in his tracks.

Miyuki tilted her head in confusion as he walked towards her. "Shoto? What's the-" Miyuki was cut short when Todoroki kissed her, not caring if Tsu or Uraraka had saw; he was trying to make Bakugo jealous and it was working.

Bakugo growled as he took a glance over his shoulder. "Let's go fucking Loverboy! I'm not gonna tell your half and half ass again!" He yelled, irritation and anger in his voice.
