Chapter 18: Jealous Firecracker

[This was the closest I could find to jealous Bakugo]

After the kiss and the confession, things between Todoroki and Miyuki went into a confusing direction. She didn't know whether if she has feelings for him of not. How could she? Miyuki's only known Todoroki for a few months, sure he was nice and respected her, always complimenting her every morning and sits with her at lunch everyday (which Bakugo hates). He even goes out of his way to walk Miyuki home sometimes; that's if Bakugo hasn't already been him to it.

Just what did Todoroki see in Miyuki?

But on the other hand, she thought he was really sweet towards her and every time she saw him there would be a smile on her face and a warm feeling in her heart. Miyuki picked up her phone from her bed when there was the familiar ding sound. It was a text from Todoroki.

What time do you want me to pick you up?

                Pick me up? I was just about to walk to your house.

[Shoto-kun - sent @ 2:46pm]

Miyuki could hear the sound of the doorbell. 'Damn, he got here quick. He must be excited to hang out.' Miyuki thought and smiled. She went over to the mirror and looked over her outfit one last time; it consisted of a cream colored sweater, a pair of jeans that were ripped at the bottom, boots that matched the sweater and a light green scarf that laid around her neck.

She smiled before walking out of her room and headed downstairs. When she opened the door the dual haired boy looked up at her. "Hi Miyuki. I like your outfit, it's cute." Todoroki spoke up, a small blush on his face as his eyes looked over her.

Miyuki blushed at his compliment. "Thank you Shoto-kun. You look nice too, it suits you." His outfit was more simpler; a beanie clung to his head, a black pair of pants and the shoes he normally wore the school and a red coat. Miyuki grabbed her coat and put it on. She turned to the boy with a closed eye smile. "You ready to have some fun?" Seeing that smile made Todoroki's heart race. "Yes."

Miyuki had planned on taking Todoroki to the mall. She didn't have anything in particular she needed to get at the mall, she just wanted to spend time with Todoroki. The two were sitting on a bench by a fountain in the middle with tons of different stores around it. Miyuki looked at Todoroki. "What do you like about me Shoto-kun?" She asked as he turned to her. 'That's a good question.' He thought.

The boy sighed as he looked into her eyes. "I think you're a very beautiful person, inside and out. You're sweet to everyone around you. I like that you wanna help anyone. I've never met anyone with a heart of gold quite like yours. There's more things I like about you but it'll take hours just for me to tell you." Todoroki responded with a genuine smile on his face.

Miyuki's eyes widened when she saw that his smile was actually a genuine smile. She had to see him smile like that more often. The pink haired girl pulled out her phone from her coat pocket. "Let's take a picture Shoto-kun!" She exclaimed happily. Todoroki gave her a confused look.

She blinked at him a few times before speaking. "So we can remember this day!" He nodded and moved closer to her as she held up her phone. Miyuki placed a kiss on his cheek before snapping the picture.

"This is a really nice picture!" Miyuki smiled as she showed him.

"Yes it is. Send it to me when you can."

On the outside, Todoroki was feeling fine. But on the inside he felt all warm and fuzzy after feeling Miyuki's lips on his cheek.

"I'm gonna buy us an ice cream. What flavor would you like?" Todoroki stood up from the bench and looked at Miyuki.

"Strawberry." She answered immediately.

He nodded and walked off to a small ice cream shop that had a bit of distance from where they were. Miyuki was on her phone until she saw a familiar tuff of ash-blond hair from the corner of her eye. She put her phone away and looked up; Bakugo was here.

What could Kacchan be doing here? Maybe his mom made him come for something she needed.

When his crimson irises locked in with hers she quickly turned her head. Shit. He probably saw me. He did see her actually. Bakugo had started walking over to her and she quickly got up and ran over to Todoroki, he was holding two ice cream cones. "Here's your cone Miyuki." He handed the frozen treat to her. "Thank you Shoto-kun." She saw that his ice cream was half chocolate and half vanilla. Cute.

After they were done eating their ice cream they walked around the mall, doing nothing but talking. Miyuki had hoped she wouldn't see Bakugo anymore today. She mainly didn't want to see Bakugo because of what happened at school. It was clear that Bakugo and Todoroki didn't like each other.

But it was too good to be true. As Miyuki and Todoroki turned a corner Miyuki had bumped into someone's chest. The person scoffed before clicking their tongue. Fuck. "Watch where you're going fucking idiot." Bakugo pushed her off of him.

Todoroki had caught Miyuki before she fell to the ground. He looked at Bakugo, his good mood turning sour. Bakugo's eyes darted from Miyuki to Todoroki, his blood already started to boil. "The fuck are you doing here? You on a date with this loser?" He spat.

"It's none of your concern if I am or not." Todoroki stated, helping Miyuki get back on her feet. She looked at Bakugo, her mood changing too. "You don't need to know if we're on a date Kacchan." She said with a scowl on her face. Bakugo could see the way Todoroki was holding her.

"Icyhot, do you like her-"

Miyuki glared at Bakugo before turning around, her back facing him. "C'mon Shoto-kun." She grabbed his hand and pulled him along as she walked away from the ash-blond. Bakugo could feel his chest tighten as he watched them intertwine their fingers and clenched his hands into fists. What is this that he's feeling? Jealousy? Yeah, that's what it is. If Miyuki and Todoroki are together that would drive him absolutely insane.
