Chapter 22: Are We Still Good?

The next day was weird; she knew she was gonna have to talk to Todoroki if he had seen them. The pit in her stomach turned and made her nervous. The worst case scenario swirled in her mind.

What if he wanted to break up with her? Never wanting anything to do with her ever again? Bakugo noticed she was off and pulled her to the side. "What's wrong?"

She shook her head, her eyes avoiding his own. "I think Shoto knows and he's avoiding me. We shouldn't have done that... he's our friend."

Bakugo scoffed. He never considered Todoroki a 'friend' and never will. But seeing his friend and crush upset and shit made his heart hurt. He sighed and looked at her. "Wait right here." Without waiting for her protest he walked off. A few moments later he came back with Todoroki close behind him.

Todoroki's face held many emotions on it; anger, sadness, betrayal. It broke her heart to see him that way. No one said anything until Bakugo spoke up. "You saw us last night, didn't you Todoroki?"

Miyuki and the bicolored haired boy both looked at Bakugo, it was the first time that he used Todoroki's name, it must mean that it's eating him up on the inside.

Todoroki silently nodded before speaking. "I didn't mean to intrude, I wanted to find my girlfriend to walk her to her room and say goodnight, so I looked for her and I see you two kissing." Miyuki could see the pain in his eyes and she instantly grabbed his hands. It had taken him off guard but he held them gently in his.

"Shoto... you know I never meant to hurt you. I didn't even know Kacchan was doing something like this. I swear."

Bakugo nodded. "Uraraka helped me plan it. I uh..." He scratched the back of his head. "Fuck, I didn't mean to hurt you ok?"

Todoroki looked at the two of them. He's known that Bakugo had feelings for Miyuki for a while now. This wasn't something that either of them could fix, but Todoroki really liked Miyuki and didn't want to lose her just yet. He turned his focus on Miyuki and could see the apologetic look she was giving him.

Being mad at Bakugo was one thing; but he couldn't bring himself to be mad with her. He had a soft spot for the girl. Though, it made him angry that someone else had kissed his girl. The image of them kissing made his blood boil.

Todoroki gave her a knowing look and looked at Bakugo. "I know that you had kissed her, not the other way around. I'll forgive you this time but, if you even think about doing something like that again I won't be so nice next time." He spoke, his voice had gone from gentle to threatening real quick. Bakugo growled at his threat but sighed.

"Whatever, just be happy that you two fucking lovebirds made up." Bakugo clicked his tongue as he walked away from the couple. Was that petty threat suppose to scare him?

Pfft, no fucking way. He isn't gonna give up on getting what he wants; Miyuki.

Miyuki's eyes stared at Bakugo's back as his figure got smaller in the distance. Todoroki looked back at Miyuki, squeezing her hands. "He'll be alright Miyuki. He's a tough guy." She nodded her head and smiled. "I was scared that you was going to break up with me."

Todoroki shook his head. "I could never do that to you, I like you way too much." He answered as his fingers lifted her chin. "I'm happy you didn't lose your feelings for me." Without letting her respond, he leaned his face closer to hers and his lips met hers in a sweet kiss.

~First chapter of 2020! At first I was gonna have them break up but that doesn't mean Bakugo isn't going to give up on Miyuki. Hopefully I'm not straying away from the main point of the story~
