Chapter 13: Happy Birthday Miyuki!

"So mom... as you know my birthday is in a couple of days and I was wondering if you could let me have a sleepover with some friends." Miyuki looked over at her mother.

Her nose was buried in some paperwork as usual and nodded. "I assume there'll be boys too?"

Miyuki scratched the back of her head. "Well yeah, but they could sleep here in the living room while the girls could bunk with me in my room. So... please?"

Her mother didn't answer. She placed her pen on the paper she was signing off on and she stood up. "As long as you keep the house clean. I have to stay late at the agency anyway."

She squealed happily and hugged her mom. "Thanks mom!"

At school the next day Miyuki was bouncing in her seat excitedly during lunch. Uraraka looked at her and giggled. "What's got you so excited Miyuki-chan?"

She pulled out envelopes from her bag, placing them on the table. "Well... my birthday is tomorrow and my mom said I could have a party/sleepover at my house."

Miyuki handed a purple envelope to everyone. "Momo, Tsu, Mina, Uraraka, Jiro, Toru, Deku, Kaminari, Kirishima, Iida, Sero, Todoroki and Kacchan."

"Even I'm getting one?" Todoroki asked while looking at the envelope in his hands.

"Of course... we are friends aren't we?" She stated, tilting her head to the side questioningly. "Same with you Sero, you look just as surprised as Todoroki-kun."

"Woo! Sleepover! Mina cheered happily.

Miyuki looked at herself in the mirror. Her outfit had changed at least a 1,000 times now and nothing seemed to say 'happy birthday to me!' She sighed. The light purple blouse she wore along with a cute pair of jeans. The ends of her hair dyed sunset orange and flats that matched the blouse. She took a photo and sent it to Deku and Bakugo. Miyuki shook her head and sent the photo to Mina as well.

Hopefully she has some fashion advice... It would mean a lot coming from a girl and not those two.

Her phone dinged signaling that she had received a message. Deku replied with a simple happy face and thumbs up and Mina couldn't stop fangirling on how amazing she looked. Bakugo just responded with "hot". It was immediately followed with a "not like I give a fuck."

Right, this was going to be the outfit then. She walked out of her room and downstairs to the living room. Her mother was in the kitchen finishing up the last bit of decorating the cake. Miyuki had a smile on her face and kissed her mom's cheek. "Thanks again for letting me do this mom."

She nodded with a smile. "Well I couldn't say no to my only daughter since all of her friends are coming over. I don't have to be at the agency until after they arrive. I would like to meet them if that's alright."

Miyuki nodded moving over to the fridge, taking out a the pitcher of water. She poured a glass and grabbed the bottle of painkillers from the cabinet. "Sure mom. But please don't push yourself too hard." She placed the glass in front of her mom and handed the pills to her.

There was a knock on the door and Miyuki opened it. She greeted everyone as they entered the house and placed gifts on a nearby table. She introduced her mother to her friends. Miyuki's mom said her goodbyes to everyone and left out the door.

The party was popping and almost everyone was there. Even Todoroki had showed up. Miyuki sat with Mina, trying to listen to her but attention fully set on the door. "Miyuki? Earth to Miyuki!" The pinkette waved her hand in front of her face.
