All Might was explaining the rules of the battle challenge he had planned. Basically, there's to be two teams of two each: one side being 'heroes' and the other as 'villains'. Sounds simple enough. The pro hero pulled something from out of the box that was behind him, having each student pull out a piece of paper.

Miyuki unfolded her paper that had the letter 'A' written on it. She looked around the class to see who her partner was. She instinctively went over to Midoriya. "Deku, what did you get?" She peeked over his shoulder, a huge smile plastered on her face. "Awesome! We're on a team!"

"We definitely got this Izuku. I'm very aware of Bakugo's moves, we trained together often. I'm not sure how your quirk works and you seem to hurt majorly yourself whenever you use it." Miyuki spoke as she thought of a strategy they could use against Bakugo's team. Miyuki had to counteract Iida's speed and agility and Bakugo's destructive and recklessness all while making sure Deku doesn't hurt himself.

"I think if we try and do this in the most stealthiest way possible we might have a chance to win. We only fight when we need to. Ok?"

Miyuki looked at her teammate; it seemed that he looked fine but there was the look of nervousness present in his eyes. The pinkette put her hands on his shoulders. "There's no need to be nervous Deku, we got this!" She gave him a closed eye smile. "We just need to memorize the map."

The first five minutes had went by and the two of them were allowed into the building. It was like a maze but everything seemed to be going alright. Miyuki and Deku stayed stealthy according to plan. It was going well but things seemed to be too good to be true. When the heroes turned the corner, they were ambushed by Bakugo's fist. Deku was just barely able to push Miyuki out the way; leading to one side of his suit being destroyed. Miyuki thought of a way to get the upper hand in this situation.

It was a good thing she didn't have a quirk similar to Tokoyami's seeing that there was light coming into the building. Bakugo's attack had pushed Deku away; a huge smirk on his face.

"What's the matter you two? Don't tell me you're scared." Bakugo taunted; narrowing his eyes dangerously at Deku before glaring at Miyuki. She could see that there was hatred and rage in those crimson eyes. Was he playing the part of the villain or just taking this way too seriously?

There was no time to think about it as Bakugo had launched another attack; it was directly aimed at the two of them. "Get the fuck up you bastards and fucking fight me!" He shouted while both of his hands had sparks flying from them. Miyuki scoffed, getting off of the floor and dusted herself off.

She ran towards him, sliding onto the floor and kicked both of his feet, knocking Bakugo to the ground in the process.

Miyuki chuckled as she walked over to him. "Come now sweetie, do you really think I could be scared of someone like you?" She teased, while twisting his arm against his back; securing him on the ground. "I know your moves." Miyuki smirked and turned to look at Deku. "You should go for the weapon. I can handle Kacchan now."

Arrogance was one of Miyuki's downfalls as the last thing she had heard was Deku calling her name as there was a explosion erupted from her back, knocking her to the floor. "Dammit." She mumbled under her breath. Miyuki stood up, her side was hurting but she was able to stand. Did Bakugo miss her on purpose?

The pinkette backed away slowly, focusing on the steam that was emitting from her palms. She was planning on sending water his way to stop his explosions. "No you fucking don't!" Bakugo yelled, sending an attack her way. She was about to dodge his attack when Deku grabbed Bakugo's arm and knocked him to the ground.

"Go Miyuki-chan, I got this!" Deku stood in front of his friend, his hands were obviously shaking but as he stood there he had a determined look on his face. Midoriya was finally standing up for himself and Miyuki couldn't be any happier for him. But this time was different; he was facing off against Bakugo.

Miyuki nodded, turning on her heel and running off in the opposite direction. She could hear Bakugo's voice echoing; "WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING!? GET BACK HERE AND FUCKING FIGHT ME!" He bellowed. She continued to run, not daring to look back.

All Might's voice was heard throughout the building saying; "Hero Team A wins!" Miyuki smiled and fist bumped the air, sticking her tongue out at Iida in a playful way. "Sorry about that Iida-kun." Miyuki scratched the back of her head. Iida only sighed as he stared at her. "It's quite alright, you did what you had to do to assure your victory." He replied, his face heating up in embarrassment muttering; "Even if it was in the most humiliating way."

~Flashback~

As Miyuki ran into the room where the weapon was she saw Iida standing in front of it. "You came on your own Himura?" The boy replied, surprised that Midoriya wasn't with her. The distance between Iida and the pink-haired girl wasn't too big. Miyuki rested her hands behind her back, steam starting to emit from them. At the same time she was raising the temperature of the steam.

"I'm sorry for what I'm about to do but I hope we could be friends after this." Miyuki had a smirk on her face as she closed the distance between them. Iida raised an eyebrow in curiosity. "What are you talking about?"

Iida was unaware of Miyuki's surprise attack and she placed both her hands onto his suit, concentrating the steam into it. Within a few seconds Iida's suit cracked and shattered completely. "M-my suit!" Iida screamed in shock; this was the perfect opening for her to win for her team.

Miyuki backed away a few inches from the dark-haired boy as she did a backflip over him, leaving Iida to only watch her in amazement. She landed in front of the weapon and placed her hands on it. "Looks like the heroes win."

~End of flashback~

"I don't object to the idea of being friends Himura." Iida's flushed face was back to its original color. "Call me Miyuki." She gave him her infamous closed-eye smile.

When the two exited the building Miyuki could see Izuku being carried out on a stretcher. His arm was completely burnt; she was walking over to ask him if he was ok; she saw that he was knocked out cold. As soon as she turned around to look for Bakugo she caught the familiar sight of ash-blond hair. Miyuki felt her blood boil as her fist clenched at her side, making her way over to him. She raised her other hand.

It felt like instinct, there was a stinging feeling in her hand and on his cheek; she had slapped him, hard. Bakugo stood there in shock, raising his hand up to his cheek.

"You bastard... you could've killed him." She said, her voice was dangerously low. Her eyes glaring daggers at him. If looks could kill, Bakugo would've been dead yesterday. "I could have lost my best friend..." She could feel the tears welling up in her eyes as her anger was replaced with sadness.

Bakugo didn't respond and pushed passed her without so much as a glance in her direction. "Get out of my way." His voice was low, and filled with nothing but disgust. He just left her there, crying and with mixed emotions and Miyuki couldn't understand why.
