Samawura Daichi:

Y/N P.O.V:

I watch as Daichi slowly pulls a smile amongst his lips as he works through his part of the question. His study face was adorable. He'd bit his lip, his hair would be ruffled in different places, his sleeves would be up his forearms. Ugh, just amazing. It's a few moments of quietness as he breathes in and out, focusing on the section.

"Daichi, there is a third part to the question, don't forget." I say, pointing back to part C of the fifth question on the practice test. My boyfriend widens his eyes and looks closely to where I was pointing. He sighs, "Oh, you're right. Jesus, I didn't think this exam would be this hard." I pat his shoulder, picking up my pencil and circling the notes on my own notebook and holding them up to his gaze. I say, "Don't worry, Dai, you're doing fine." He gives me a half-grin, running the back of his neck. I continue, "Just remember these notes on an easy way to track your answers, and how to come up with the final answer." He runs a hand through his hair and leans back in his chair.

It was obvious that he was stressing about this exam. I press my pencil down to his notes, writing down a few additional words before underlining them in red. "What's that?" He asks me. I answer back, leaning on his shoulder, "It's the newer information you find in the third part." He furrows his brows, pulling the practice test up into my face. Daichi gasps, "But I-I don't even understand this part yet!" I shake my head, pushing the book down so our eyes met over the edge of the papers.

"That's the point, Dai." I claim, holding the book in my own hands, "This section is connecting to the part you're stuck on. But, it does tell you what answer you need." He raises a brow, hand holding his chin. I huff back, "If you know what you are looking for, the path to how you get it will be easier to see." Daich nods his head, bringing his head back down to answer the full question again. After another 10 minutes, he's finished and he shows it to me again. A smile breaks onto my face and I pull him into a hug. "That's right! You've got it, Daichi!" I say, pressing a kiss to his cheek.

Diachi sighs, closed eyes, "Thank God. Now, next set."

Sugawara Koushi:

Sugawara P.O.V:

I tap my pencil on my chin. What was the difference? Come on... there had to be something that tells me the contrast between the two. My throat is going dry just being stuck on this question. I look through the questions prior that I've already answered. One of them have to help me with this o-no, never mind. They haven't given me a clue as to the answer to this one. I groan, leaning my head on my desk, "I-I don't know the answer to this one, Y/N. Can you give me a clue?"

Y/N, standing behind me, looks over my shoulder and hums, "One of these terms have the same pronunciation, different meanings." I slowly nod my head, writing that down under one of the words. I hesitantly pull my pencil up from my paper and look up to Y/N, showing her my answer. I wait as Y/N reads over it, biting her lip. When the paper drops from her cover, she chuckles nervously and places the sheet on the desk, "This is partially correct, Koushi. Here." She leans over, hand on the desk and the other holding the pencil.

Wow. This is harder than I expected. When I asked Y/N to come over to study, I didn't expect it to turn into a tutoring sessions. I lean my chin in my palms, looking up at her as she draws on my paper. She pushes a strand of hair away from her face, behind her ear, and smiles at me. I feel my cheeks flare up.

"Homophones are the ones that have same pronunciation and different meanings." She tells me, drawing an arrow to show where the definition belongs. As she goes on, she circles the ones that are correct and puts a tiny little cross next to those that are wrong. "And the homographs are the ones that include the same spelling, however different pronunciations as well as meanings." Okay, Koushi... the third time's a charm, right? Y/N sees me worrying a bit and places a hand on my upper arm. "Suga, remember what we said. About how to track the different terms?" I nod my head and give her a smile. I sigh out, gripping my strands of hair on the side of my face, "Right okay... 'Phobes' are pronunciation and different definition. 'Graphs' are spelling, different definition and pronunciation."
