I walk into my apartment, putting my keys on the holder and my jacket on the hook. "I'm home, Roy! Hope you didn't mess up my living room!" I shout, dropping my bag on the kitchen table. I run a hand through my hair, checking my bag for my work that I needed to finish off. I wait for Roy to reply, but he doesn't. "Roy?" I repeat, dropping my things. I see his uniform on the couch in the living room, so he must be home.
Quickly grabbing my pistol from my holster, I try and listen to the footsteps. I hear some in my room. I swear to God... "Roy, if this is a joke, I'm gonna kill you." I call out, holding the gun to my hip. Today, Roy asked me to get a report from the Elric brothers. I was apart of the Hughes Unit with Falman, before the accident. So I was transferred to the Mustang Unit along with Vato. Me and Roy were close before that, since Maes had introduced me to Mustang when I needed a place to stay. That was a year ago, when I first joined Maes' unit. So shooting something was something I could do.
I open my door slowly, gun aimed at what was in front of me. But when the door is open fully, I see Roy leaning over my dresser. I see some of my clothes on my bed, the floor, even some in his own hands. "Roy!" I shout, placing my gun back at my side. He's currently shirtless, pants hanging by his waist. It wasn't the first time I've seen him like this, I mean we share an apartment together. Roy gives me a serious look as I begin to take off my holster. "You have some of my clothes. I found two of my long-sleeved shirts, one of my jackets and-here!" He holds up a pair of light grey pants. "This is the fourth pair I found today!" He argues. I walk up to him, take the pair and a black t-shirt from the floor.
Roy tilts his head at me as I begin to take off my undershirt, still facing away from him. "When it's your time to do the washing, make sure my clothes are in my pile, not yours." He scowls, collecting his things. I slip on my black shirt, grabbing the pants and slipping them on. When I turn around, he points at the his pants I'm wearing. "I want those back by the end of the week, alright?" I nod my head, tying my hair up as he slips on a shirt he found. He checks himself out in the mirror by my bed, fixing his shirt. I finish up my hair and walk over to him, crossed arms and leaning against the wall.
"Where you going tonight?" I ask. Roy retorts, eyes to me, "To a bar. Fuery, Farman, Havoc and Breda think I'm uptight and want me to come along on their weekly bar meetup." He points to the jackets laid out nicely on my bed. I think for a moment before picking the black one. I hand it to him and groan, "Please tell me Riza is going, y'know how you guys get when you're drunk." Roy chuckles, sliding on the jacket. He sighs, "Yes, she's coming. She's the one driving us all home. You wanna come along?" I shake my head, walking out of the room with him. I point to the table, where my bag is. "I have a lotta' work to finish off and put on Grumman's desk by 11 tomorrow morning. Don't worry about it, though. Just don't pass out by the door again."
Roy laughs softly, hands on my shoulders. He gently shakes me. "Aw, poor baby. I'm leaving in two hours, so I can help you out a bit." He jokes. I wrap my arm around his waist, patting his back. I sigh, "Thank you, Mustang. Nice friend. I could really use a coffee." Roy nods his head, moving into the open kitchen and starting up the kettle. I take my things and saunter into the living room, setting out my work on the coffee table. A few minutes later, Mustang walks in with a cup of steaming coffee. "Thanks, Roy." I hum, picking up a slip of paper and reading it. He sits beside me, reading over my shoulder. I hand him the paper and grab a pen to sign something. "You've got a lot of work to do, I could stay home and help if you'd like."
I shake my head again, putting the papers I signed in the bag again after tossing Roy the newspaper. "No, no! I don't wanna' ruin your night. Go have fun with the boys." I tell him, crossing my legs and sipping the coffee again. Roy sighs, "Stubborn, as always." I roll my eyes, jotting down some notes as Roy mumbles something about the work I had to complete. He leans back, arm on the back of the couch. I lean against him, sighing in comfort. Roy and I were nice, cool friends.
