"Yeonjun!" Soobin hugged his friend when he arrived at the mansion. "Hey Soobin, glad to see you. This is the house. We have rooms right across from eachother, mom said you might get lost without me." Yeonjun led his friend inside as the servant grabbed his bags.
"I knew aunty was rich but-" soobin paused to look at a gardener working on the flowers.
"But wow, I know I get it alot." Yeonjun was embarrassed and quickly led Soobin inside.
Hueningkai stopped trimming the flowers to memorize the boys face. Yeonjun, the bosses son, the 'heir to the throne'. He might lead him to the boss. He was about to follow but knew that a new gardener suddenly sneaking inside was suspiscious. He could at least report that he had met the bosses son.
"Who was that?" Beomgyu asked when yeonjun entered his bedroom. "It was a friend of mine, he's gonna help catch the theif too."yeonjun noticed the shackle around beomgyus ankle and frowned. "What's that?"
"They put it on me and chained it to the bed post so I wouldn't leave the room, I case of anymore accidents." Beomgyu looked displeased as he tugged at the thing.
"I'll see if I can get the key to it. Don't pull you'll bruise yourse-" yeonjun bent down to see if he could slip some fabric to keep it from running against beomgyus skin. "I-is that a branding?" Yeonjun looked up and the blonde boy sadly.
"It's from the place you bought me from I don't even want to think about it. Just get food I'm starving." Beomgyu avoided eye contact. This 'mafia prince's was the weirdest guy ever. He was almost like a normal teenager.
Yeonjun gently put the cloth in the shackle and stood. Beomgyu gasped when the boy suddenly HUGGED him. "I'm sorry the world is so evil, but there will be good things now. I'll go get some food. Yeonjun smiled at beomgyu and walked out.
Beomgyu stared at the door yeonjun had left out of in shock. Did he just hug him? He felt a little touched at getting physical love that wasn't asking for anything more than a hug,but quickly shook it off focusing on thinking of ways to catch the theif.
"You're cutting the hose."
Hueningkai jumped and nearly dropped the sheers. "AH! WHOOPS SORRY IM NEW AT THIS!!" he saw the boy that had entered with yeonjun behind him, looking worried.
"Ah, it's alright I'm new too, I'm soobin." He held out his hand to the 'gardener'. Hueningkai shook the boys hand cautiously.
"I don't know if you know where the pool would be?since you're new as well?" Soobin rubbed the back of his head. The gardener was much younger than he thought he'd be.
Hueningkai recalled seeing a pool on his way here. He was told to scout the layout of the place to prepare for a future attack. The dirty old man just wanted his eyes to scout the place for now.
"Yeah. I do. Follow me." Hueningkai stood up and led the boy across the place. Soobin stared at the boys clothes. "Wow...you're new but your clothes are pretty worn out already huh?" Soobin wanted to start a conversation but realized what he said was rude.
"Sorry..I'm not very good at making friends..." Soobin was beyond embarrassed now. Hueningkai did take note that he had been in the same clothes since he was taken. They probably did look awful.
"It's alright, ive been working hard. The pools through this gate. Hueningkai gestured.
"Thank you- ah...could j have your name?" Soobin was happy someone seemed friendly around this place. For a company, this place only had big, buff, scary looking guys.
"No you can't have it." Hueningkai smiled and made soobin super confused. "You can KNOW it but not HAVE it." Hueningkai laughed when the boy smiled.
"Its Hueningkai." Soobin smiled, feeling successful in making another friend.
"I'm Soobin." He held out his hand.
"You told me that." Hueningkai laughed and shook his hand again. "I did?! Oh sorry..." Soobin covered his face and tried to regain pride.
"Its ok, it's a scary place here. We're friends now don't be nervous." Kai smiled at how cute the giant boy was, for working in a mafia. At least he thought soobin was a part of this mafia.
"Why are you at the pool in a hoodie and jeans?" Hueningkai pointed at the boy with the sheers he had in his hand still.
"I'm supposed to meet my friend here, he said he wanted to introduce me to someone by the pool but I got lost." Soobin looked around. "Maybe he did too..because he isn't here yet..."
"I'll stay with you until he gets here so you don't get lost again." Kai sat down suddenly. It was kind of nice talking to a nice person after a week of being threatened, dragged, and kidnapped.
Soobin looked down at the boy and noticed how bright it was. "They didnt give you a sunhat even though you're a gardener?" Soobin sat next to the boy and covered his eyes from the sun.
"Oh...no I'm wearing sunblock." Soobin nodded at the boys words, still worried for his new friend getting sunburnt.
"SOOBIN!!!" yeonjun waved and called while approaching the two with a boy of his own in hand. Beomgyu was very against holding hands but after he saw yeonjun's mother unchain him on the condition that he not harm her son again, he figured hand holding wasn't so bad.
"Sorry I'm late, i ran into a problem but I'm here now. Who's this?" Yeonjun looked to Hueningkai.
"He's your new gardener you don't know him?Hueningkai?" Soobin looked to Hueningkai and then yeonjun.
"Sorry. My mom must've hired you I'm Yeonjun now I know you." Yeonjun shook hueningkais hand, friendly.
"This is who i wanted you to meet, he's gonna help us with-" yeonjun paused, looking at the gardener. "My-'problem' " yeonjun winked at Soobin.
Hueningkai took this the entire wrong way when he recognized beomgyu as his friend.
Beomgyu returned hueningkais shocked face when he recognized him as well.
"Are you two okay?" Soobin noticed the two boys giving shocked looks to eachother.
"Yeah, i just need to use the restroom is all!" Beomgyu gave a look to Hueningkai.
"Oh! I better get back to work then!" Hueningkai got up, getting beomgyus message, he ran towards the garden.
"Beomgyu. You can't go without me remember? My mom will ...you know- again." Yeonjun gave a sad look.
"Then wait here and count how long I'm gone I swear." Beomgyu intertwined his pinky with the mafia prince and ran off to the garden.
"Why can't he go without you?" Soobin looked up at his friend, regaining his attention.
Yeonjun sat with soobin to wait for beomgyu to come back. He forgot that soobin didn't know about the mafia...
"Hes um...he has bad bathroom problems-" yeonjun tried to not laugh at his improv excuse.
"O-oh sorry I asked..." Soobin forced himself to not smile at the weird reason.
Yeonjun nudged soobins shoulder. "So...you falling for one of my gardeners already? You dog."
"Beomgyu!" Hueningkai tightly hugged the boy when he entered the garden. They held eachother tightly. "Oh my God I thought I would never see you again." Beomgyu checked over his friends face worried. "I thought I'd never see anyone again." Hueningkai almost choked up and hugged beomgyu again.
"Im sorry i ever asked you to stay out that late, if we would've just gone home none of this would be happened-" beomgyu hushed Hueningkai.
"Shh...its not your fault people usually don't come out of the shadows and kidnap teenage boys you know." Beomgyu tried to reassure Kai.
"Yah- besides that what are you here for?!" Beomgyu suddenly got worried that Kai was here for the same reason he was.
"I-im a spy, its better than being a sex slave to that old guy. A different mafia bought me- why are you here???" Kai looked concerned.
Beomgyu winced when he mentioned sex slaves. He bit his lip. "I-im a cleaner!" Beomgyu lied. Hueningkai seemed at least a little bit relieved.
"I have to get back before they think I'm trying to escape and they get suspiscious of you." Beomgyu gave him one last hug
And left him quickly.
He saw the two boys by the pool gate swatting eachother when he returned. "I-I DO NOT HES MY NEW FRIEND!" The boys stopped seeing beomgyu arrive.
