"no! Nothing's wrong. Let's go!" Hueningkai got in the car with soobin and happily closed the door. Relieved to be out of sight.
"Are you excited?" Soobin smiled as they started the commute to the 'secret location'
Now that Hueningkai was calm, he really was excited to go somewhere with soobin. He only saw him in the place he was supposed to be spying. He was the only friend Hueningkai had right now. Maybe a little bit more even...
"Yeah!! I'm super excited!! But can't you tell meeee" Hueningkai held soobins arm and did aegyo begging. He thought soobin might give in and tell him.
"I'm only telling you the first letter-" soobin couldnt ignore the aegyo...
"It's M"
"Who's listening to my dad?" Taehyun waited in the kitchen of their house. Waiting to see his father's car arriving from the station.
As soon as he heard someone pulling in he ran outside." You couldnt tell me because someone was listening????!" Taehyun whisper-yelled to his dad as soon as he got out of the car.
"Yes. Wire tap under desk." His father looked tired and worried as he went into their house, Taehyun behind him.
"So someone is making sure the police stay quiet???!" Taehyun was surprised. He had questioned whether it was corrupt cops but not blackmailed cops.
"Sit down. I'll tell you all about it, but you can't repeat this anywhere, you could get harmed or worse . "
Taehyun obediently sat.
Beomgyu had a little headache as a side-effect of whatever drug they had used yesterday. It was a familiar one. Beomgyu couldn't stop thinking about where he had had this drug before. It hit him and he nearly choked on his chips.
"Oh my God I have to tell yeonjun right now he could be in danger!!" Beomgyu tripped over his chain while grabbing the key in a rush, he unlocked himself.
"What? Dad was hurt?" Yeonjun was surprised and stopped target practice. The maid had informed him.
"Yes. We suspect that the mole is bringing others in. We apprehended one from your father's personal guard yesterday.
Yeonjun thought about the faces that were with his father when they had met yesterday. If one of them was a mole, then they could've given beomgyu a dangerous drug???!
Yeonjun got worried, beomgyu had acted fine but what if this drug took time to kick in, he could be dying right now.
"Master yeonjun....YEONJUN!!" The maid notice yeonjun starting to panic and she took the gun from his hands. "Go if you need to check something but don't take it out on a target!!" Without hesitance yeonjun ran and the maid nearly fell over from yeonjun's gust of wind passing her.
She sighed, knowing she may get in trouble for letting yeonjun ignore his lesson.
Yeonjun ran against the hallway wall, nearly leaving skid marks on the way to his bedroom he opened the door and rushed inside.
"Beomgyu??!! Beomgyu??!" Yeonjun checked the bed and saw the chain without an ankle, so he ran to the closet, then the bathroom.
He wasn't there. Did he leave??!or worse- did he-
Yeonjun bolted from the room asking guards already in a choked up voice.
Beomgyu watched as a group of nurses got mauled by a figure in the hall. He was telling questions at them.
Beomgyu then noticed the blue hair. "Yeonjun?" Beomgyu tried to get a better view and started his way down the hall worried. Had yeonjun been hurt?
"No master yeonjun, we haven't seen him I'm sorry...." The maid was afraid of yeonjun. He was gripping her arm so tightly it hurt.
"ARE YOU SURE??!! HES A LITTLE SHORTER THAN ME WITH BLONDE HAIR!!" yeonjuns voice was so hurt and desperate.
"Yeonjun are you ok?..." Beomgyu asked, now close enough to be sure it was yeonjun.
Yeonjun saw beomgyu and a sigh of relief left his chest and he crashed into beomgyu.
The maids looked at beomgyu like he was yeonjun's next victim.
"You poor boy ..."
"No no, the boy he was looking for was me it's alright." Beomgyu smiled to the maid and saw that yeonjun had no blood or bruises anywhere, but he was about to have all sorts of injuries if yeonjun kept hugging him so tight.
"Jun...junnie- let go-plEase" beomgyu strained. "I promised I wouldn't leave remember." Beomgyu tried to sooth the hurt blue haired boy in his arms.
"You scared the shit out of me!!!why were you UNCHAINED out of the ROOM?!" yeonjun now got upset. His father would've killed them both if he saw beomgyu.
The maids widened their eyes at the statement. "Oh my..." One of the maids covered her mouth.
Beomgyu tried to save his pride. "I-its not what it seems like ladies really see-" oof....sex slave kinda sounded worse. "I was getting punished fo-" beomgyu stopped himself before he made it worse.
"DONT YOU HAVE A JOB TO DO??!" beomgyu said, getting the maids to finally rush away.
Beomgyu sighed and addressed yeonjun's question before yeonjun freaked out again. "I came to tell you that I think there's another mole!"
"I know." Yeonjun said opening his bedroom door and directing beomgyu in.
"What?! What do you mean you know?" Beomgyu said, sitting down on the bed as yeonjun closed the door.
"My father was injured this morning by someone close to him. The maid told me, how did you find out???"
"The drug I got yesterday felt familiar to one of the ones I had when I was kidnapped. I think I know who's the second mole." Beomgyu bite his lip quickly after he said that. He couldn't reveal that the first mole was Hueningkai....they'd kill him.
"What?!! Who's the second mole??! If we know who they are we can find the first one!"
"I cannot believe you." Hueningkai laughed and covered his face.
Soobin pouted, wearing Mickey mouse ears and holding two cotton candies. "What...they opened a new ride called magic island.....I thought you'd like it..." Soobin pouted and hung his head like a rejected puppy.
"No no! Aw soobin I love it don't pout oh my God you're a big bunny." Hueningkai played with soobin cheeks and got him to smile before he stole one of the cotton candies.
"So where's this ride?" Hueningkai stuffed his face with cotton candy happily.
"Down this boardwalk." Soobin furrowed his brows looking at the park map.
"Hey there's a sign it's right down there don't fry your brain looking at that." Hueningkai took soobins hand and walked alongside him so he's stop looking at the map.
"So why do we have to wait to eat your present on magic island?" Hueningkais cotton candy cheeks were adorably distracting soobin as he asked.
"Ah...no reason." Soobin smiled as he remembered that magic island was a spot for couples to take pictures together. A popular one being sharing a snack.
They stopped outside of magic island and sat at a table. "Let's eat it before the ride. I don't think I'll be hungry afterward." Hueningkai laughed and Soobin noticed he was a bit pale.
"Kai....you aren't afraid of rollercoasters are you?" Soobin laughed pulling out the breaded pastry Hueningkai bought him and cutting it in half.
Hueningkai took an embarrassed bite out of his pastry and didn't answer.
"Awwww Kai it's alright I'll protect you. Stick to me like gum ok? Oh and say cheese!" Soobin smiled in his camera he suddenly pulled out from his bag.
"Wait say what-" Hueningkai looked up with cheeks now full of pastry to be met with a surprise camera flash.
"NO SOOBIN LET ME DO A CUTER POSE!!" hueningkai tried to grab the camera but soobin dodged like a pro.
"No way! Finish the pastry. Candid photos are the best photos. Besides....this one's perfect." Soobin smiled evilly to himself as he admired the totally-date looking photo of Kai and him at the little table in the park. Then he noticed that Kai had jam on his lip in the picture.
Soobin gushed to himself. He had watched enough kdramas to prepare him for this. The perfect heart-wrenching way to capture hueningkais love. He reached forward towards Kai.
Suddenly, instead of a romantic jam-wipe off lip he was met with hueningkais mouth around his finger.
"Eh... Kai....what are you doing?" Soobin was extremely surprised and confused when Hueningkai pulled away and smiled. "You had jam on your finger, don't worry I got it." Hueningkai smiled and finished his pastry half.
Not was I was expecting ...but ok soobin thought to himself. The other couples at the dining area seemed to think it was as weird as soobin did because everyone was staring. Including one of Kai's 'friends' as he soon noticed.
"Hey soobin let's ride the ride now!"
"Wait what? But I haven't finished my past-"
