Taehyun didn't even reply to Yeonjun. He was so pissed. Why would he put beomgyu through all this then suddenly leave. If he was worried he would meet them at the water park.
"Who are you talking to?" Beomgyu came out of the bathroom, trying his hair after a shower.
"It was Kai, Him and Soobin are ready and they'll meet us there." Taehyun gave a smile to beomgyu, who looked a little better after having someone with him all night.
"They really wanted to go to the water park? Is anyone following them?" Beomgyu picked at the drawstrings of his sweatpants, nervous.
"I didn't ask, let's not freak them out ok? Let's have fun at the water park. You should get out of the house." Taehyun stood, he had beomgyus mother drive to his house to get his swim trunks so that he wouldn't have to leave beomgyus side.
"Why are you so eager to go?" Beomgyu gave a little laugh at taehyuns sudden excitement. Taehyun took beomgyus laugh as an accomplishment.
"Just do. Let's go they're probably waiting."
"They'll definitely pick on us. . " Hueningkai stared at Google maps on his phone. They were sitting at an intersection, walking to meet beomgyu and Taehyun at the water park, but got lost.
"I'm sorry...we should've driven..." Soobin felt bad and laid his head on hueningkais shoulder, pouting for forgiveness.
"It's alright, Im not ready to get in a car either, I did enough commuting in someone's car. You were in a car accident and watched people try to kill you. Walking is good for us."
Hueningkai patted soobins head, reassuring him that walking was fine.
"But now we're lost." Soobin sat up and looked at hueningkais furrowed eyebrows trying to figure out where they were.
Soobin went from apologetic to pissed when a man bumped into Hueningkai, making him drop his phone. No apology either, just kept walking.
Soobin sighed and bent down, picking up the phone and checking for cracks. There was none, but when he went to see hueningkais expression it seemed cracked.
"Kai? Hey....you ok?" Soobin was worried at hueningkais heavy breathing.
"Yeah-yeah can we um...can we get going? I'm pretty sure I found out the way." Hueningkai quickly stood up, taking his phone and sped walk to the crosswalk, pressing the button and going.
"KAI! HUENINGKAI!!" soobins body slammed against hueningkais, throwing Hueningkai against the crosswalk pole. "THERE WAS A CAR COMING YOU HAVE TO WAIT! WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?!"
Hueningkai noticed how stupid that spacing out moment was, making soobin panic and now he was holding him sadly.
"I'm sorry....that guy reminded me of one of the...you know..."
Hueningkai brushed soobins messy hair back into place and held his hand, crossing with him now that the light for pedestrians turned on.
Soobin was worried that Hueningkai wouldn't be able to get used to normal life again. He couldn't cross a street properly because a guy bumped into him.
"Hey...can I stay with you? I know you say it's alright but, I'd feel better helping you adjust again." Soobin felt weight off his shoulders when Hueningkai smiled and nodded.
"THERE YOU TWO ARE OH MY GOD I TRIED CALLING LITERALLY A MINUTE AGO YOU WORRIED ME!!" beomgyu ran up, surprising the two.
"We got a little lost, some jerk knocked hueningkais phone out of his hands, it's not broken don't worry." Soobin smiled seeing someone equally as worried for Hueningkai as he was. Since soobin didn't leave the mansions much, it was nice to see a friendly face on the streets.
"Wheres Taehyun?" Hueningkai said as if summoning him, Taehyun appeared behind beomgyu carrying two bags.
"I'm here, is everyone ready?" Taehyun did a head count.
Yeonjun isn't here ....
Taehyun had a feeling yeonjun would be too stubborn to show his face, but he knew that yeonjun couldn't resist the chance to see beomgyu, especially after he said something happened to him.
Yeonjun stood, near a street bench pretending to scroll on his phone. He had a cap and a long coat on, making sure to not give himself away.
Taehyun had been trying his patience all day, first with the messages, now with treating beomgyu like his boyfriend. He wasn't dumb, he knew Taehyun was trying to lure him in.
Yeonjun used the zoom feature on his phone, examining beomgyu for any hints as to what might have happened. He saw bruises on his arms but nothing too extreme. I want to see you....but I want to catch whoever's after you first....
Yeonjun noticed the accident Hueningkai almost got into and was wondering whether he was being followed too. Soobin seemed like he wasn't about to leave his side.
Yeonjun watched the boys go inside the water park gates, planting himself to examine everyone who went through those gates. They wouldn't try to attack if he was with beomgyu. He had to do this. He prayed that he could catch them today. Then I can see beomgyu....
Beomgyu had a weird feeling before going inside, but brushed it off when Hueningkai pulled him inside, paying for them.
"C'mon! " Hueningkai smiled, trying to pull beomgyu into the pool.
"AH! hueningkai be careful I can't get the stitches wet remember? Don't you have any?" Beomgyu was surprised when Hueningkai lifted his shirt to show a mostly healed scar on his abdomen.
"Soobin shot hesitantly, and I wore a vest. I'm alright. Do you want to go to the kiddie pool then?" Hueningkai wanted to see beomgyus scar but didn't want to pry him to lift his shirt in public.
"No I'll just Wade around in this pool." Beomgyu smiled and watched Hueningkai nod and take soobin up the stairs of the slide.
Beomgyu walked around in the shallow end of the pool, sitting in a floaty.
Taehyun smiled and lurked like a shark, sneaking up to the relaxing beomgyu.
"Wait wait wait!!" Soobin was uneasy sitting in the double tube at the top of the slide. Hueningkai was in the back so he couldn't exactly escape.
"What? He said we could slide down there's no one down there." Hueningkai prepared to push the tube down the slide, holding soobins hand as a sort of seatbelt.
"I can't swim..."
