Soobin turned around to see what beomgyu was referring to and saw that the flower hat soobin gave Hueningkai was dancing across the top of a garden hedge. Soobin furrowed his eyebrows and looked at the window, then beomgyu and yeonjun, then back to the window before a loud screech of his chair echoed throughout the kitchen.
"Aaaannnd, there he goes....it's probably not Hueningkai right beomgyu?" Yeonjun looked to his side to be met with no beomgyu. He watched as a blonde Bob of bouncing hair followed soobin out the door like lightning.
"Right then....just me and coffee." Yeonjun took a long sip from his mug.
"HUENINGKAI?!HUENINGKAI!" soobin dashed through the garden, dodging flower beds and crashing his hip into a bush, but not falling. Beomgyu was right beside him asking for hueningkais response too.
They saw the flower hat was attatched to a body that was gardening behind the large bush. The hat lifted and a confused Hueningkai face returned their question. "Yes?"
"HUENINGKAI!" Hueningkai was attacked with a giant bunny hug and nearly toppled over.
Hueningkai saw a guilty look in beomgyus worried eyes. He didn't want to just flat out give himself away by asking in front of soobin though. He knew soobin didn't know anything about the mafias.
Soobin released Hueningkai to check his wounds. "YOU CAME OUT ALRIGHT TOO??!!WHO TOOK YOU FROM THE CAR??!WHY DID THEY TRY TO BURN ME ALIVE??!!WHO BANDAGES YOU THIS BADLY??!!I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!!" soobin frantically said. He couldn't even imagine what went on. Hueningkai couldn't imagine he had to kill him today.
Beomgyu went in for his hug as soobin pulled away and he whispered. "You won't hurt anyone right?" Beomgyu pulled away with a smile like he hadn't whispered a question, soobin was still watching after all.
Beomgyu had been so positive his best friend wouldn't harm a fly, he swore to yeonjun that Hueningkai wouldnt harm anyone, but Hueningkai ignoring his question made all his certainties shatter. Would he really harm someone? Beomgyu wishes he could get a minute alone to ask Hueningkai all of his questions.
"Ok ok enough hugging and smiling Kai come with me!" Soobin grabbed Kai's wrist and before beomgyu knew it they left in a cloud of clueless playing.
"He won't harm a fly? You're positive?" Yeonjun said, making his presence known from behind beomgyu, he had watched them all hug and just stood, not trusting Hueningkai.
Beomgyu yelped. "Jesus Jun you scared the crap out of me........yes I'm positive he wouldn't." Beomgyu angrily pulled some grass and threw it at yeonjun for scaring him.
"Then I'll trust him. I trust you beomgyu. Are you going to stay on the ground all day or what?" Yeonjun offered his hand down to beomgyu but beomgyu stuck his tongue out and got up by himself, dusting himself off like it was a runway.
"Wait beomgyu! I have my own questions!" Yeonjun jogged and caught up to him.
"Can you ask Hueningkai to tell my father everything? He'd listen to you and we could protect him! And my family!" Yeonjun suggested his plan he had thought of all night while clinging to beomgyu.
"If he was worried about only himself he wouldn't be doing this yeonjun, they threatened our families when they took us. I'm sure that's why Taehyun hasn't saved us." Beomgyu blurted out, entering the mansion again, still distracted and troubled by Hueningkai not answering his question.
"Who's Taehyun? We can send people to defend your families! Beomgyu c'mon really if it came to a side who would you pick?" Yeonjun was a little concerned he had put false trust into beomgyu because he loved him. Was Taehyun an ex of his? They probably met under normal circumstances.
"Taehyun is hueningkais and my friend, he's a cops son and he would report you in a heartbeat, I shouldn't have to choose sides why ask that? We should just leave the situation alone yeonjun." Beomgyu opened the door to their room as yeonjun followed him like a puppy again. The maids cooed seeing them together again.
"So you'd pick him then? That's why you won't give me a clear answer? If we leave the situation alone people could die, on your side, my side, BOTH SIDES BEOMGYU." yeonjun held beomgyus shoulders firmly and turned him around, pushing him to the wall to gain his full attention. Yep Jun knew beomgyu was thinking about something else during their conversation.
"I know it's a tense situation Jun.....we shouldn't argue ok? I stayed because I'm on both sides." Beomgyu gave in and let yeonjun have his undivided attention.
"I know! It's a tense situation! So why are you pretending to be so calm?! I want to know what you're thinking beomgyu...I want to talk to you. I have thoughts that are troubling me about just us you know! " Yeonjun took beomgyus hands. "Just us..."
"AHn- Ng- Soobin...." Hueningkai whined as soobin lifted his chin, pressing harder.
"I'm sorry ....just a little longer, whoever did this did a shit job." Soobin peeled off the makeshift bandage on Kai's cheek and cleaned the wound.
"Why cant one of your nurses do this?" Hueningkai pouted. Soobin frowned. "Because there's a mole and I don't trust them with you. While I'm doing this you can explain what happened last night? Please?" Soobin was worried Hueningkai was keeping secrets from him too.
"My family....they were the ones that took me, I lied about my mom being antisocial, my family has . ...a dangerous job and thought that you were going to tattle..." Heuningkai explained, crossing his fingers behind his back.
Soobin furrowed his brows. His family is like my family then...maybe I could tell him when we get rid of the mole it will be safer....
"My family is like that too don't worry....I get it. No hard feelings." Soobin laughed, thinking their situations were hilarious. Hueningkai smiled just seeing soobin laughing.
"Oh.." soobin tried to unstick the bandage from his finger to put on hueningkais cheek but it wasnt cooperating.
Hueningkai let out a dolphin laugh at soobin frantically trying to unstick it. Soobin laughed embarrassed but finally got it unstick, and put it on hueningkais cheek. It was an adorable bandaid with molang print and strawberries. Matched Hueningkai perfectly.
"Is it on?" Hueningkai looked up to soobin. He was growing a little uncomfortable from sitting on the medical table. It was cold on his thighs.
"Yeah.." soobin said under his breath. He was distracted by hueningkais lips. They hadn't really been quite this close to eachother in a while. Soobin wondered if now would be a good time to tell Hueningkai that he liked him?was it love?
"Soobin?" Hueningkai asked when soobin inched closer. He caught eye contact with soobin, faces inches apart now. They were both wondering the same thing now. Stuck in utter awkward silence.
"Master soo-OH FORGIVE ME!" a maid had walked in and covered her face with her towel.
"I-i brought you a fresh towel to use to clean his wound but it seems you're busy-"
"No! No! Thank you I appreciate it I was just finishing!!" Soobin took the towel and backed away from Kai about ten feet across the room.
"Yep! I'm healed!" Hueningkai quickly hopped off the table like nothing happened.
"Hueningkai I'll need you to come with me."
