"Listen, if I knew it would've hit you I wouldn't have thrown it." Hueningkai tried to stick a flower from the garden into soobins hair.
They left the tennis court and decided to enjoy laying in the grass before the rain made it muddy.
"Mhm im sure you're the theif and you want to kill me." Soobin laughed and turned to a shocked Kai. "I'm kidding jeez!! What a look!" Soobin lightly threw a flower at Hueningkai.
Hueningkai looked up at the sky, he could see the rainclouds coming but he thought they looked just as pretty as the blue sky next to them.
Soobin stared at hueningkai, the dimming light from the sky made his skin glow next to the dew of the grass.
"Your hairs getting pretty long you know. Don't you want it cut?" Soobin tugged a strand from the back of Kai's head gently.
"Oh...I'll get it cut soon." Hueningkai thought soobin didn't like the shaggy hair and tried to cover it.
"No no, it looks fine I just noticed you wear the same clothes and hairstyle all the time. Can I tie it up?"
Hueningkai shuffled to sit in soobins lap and took the drawstring from his hoodie out, handing it to soobin.
"You can try, sure." Soobin turned red at the contact but gently brushed through Kai's hair with his fingers, pulling it into a little ponytail. He wrapped the string around it and tied it in a bow.
"Aw, just barely. It looks cute." Soobin smiked and prodded the ponytail, making it bounce.
"My friend Taehyun has long hair too, his could be put into an even longer ponytail." Hueningkai smiled remembering his friend.
He didn't know if he had a haircut since the last time he had seen him. He missed him. And Beomgyu. And his parents. His sister's. School. All of it.
"Alright my turn sit in front of me."
Beomgyu felt something suddenly invade his mouth and pull him backwards. A gag. A cloth gag. "MMMHNAAMMN" He struggled to scream as he was sprawled flat on the bed now. He felt his arms get held down. He was panicking. There were three men restraining him. He knew what this meant. He could see it on their faces.
Beomgyu sobbed trying to scream at them through the gag. He flailed his legs and thrashed against the two men.
"DAMNIT CANT YOU GET HIS LEGS??!" The man at the foot of the bed said, trying to grab beomgyus thrashing legs, one hitting him in the face and pissing him off.
"JUST USE SOME OF THE SEDATIVE FOR THE HEIR DAMNIT THE BRAT KICKED ME!!" the man ripped something from one of the men holding beomgyus arms down.
Beomgyu saw a string of some sort being pulled out of a pouch and began to thrash even more, reaching his legs up away from the man with the syringe. "YEONFFFFUUMMM" He tried to scream but it became slurred with the gag.
The man stuck the needle in one of his arms while the other man started grabbing his legs as beomgyu stopped thrashing.
"There we go....good boy see so much prettier when youre calm hmm?" The three men laughed at eachother seeing beomgyus eyes droop at the sedative.
"Alright. I've passed everything but the crossbow can I PLEASE do It tommorow?" Yeonjun sulked at his instructor desperate at this point. He just wanted to go show beomgyu some movies and relax the rest of the evening.
"But crossbow is important in-" the woman stopped seeing yeonjun dramatically tearing up. "ALRIGHT ALRIGHT JESUS DONT GIVE ME THAT." yeonjun hugged the woman and stopped the act.
"Maybe you should be an actor instead of a mafia boss with that acting talent." The woman scoffed and hugged back, watching the beaming boy take off inside.
Yeonjun skipped about 4 stairs, eager to tell beomgyu that he had passed 3 of 4 tests today. He stopped at the door when he heard voices that weren't beomgyus.
Yeonjun quickly ran down the hall and grabbed a guards gun, bolting back and opening the door with a seing., Spotting his targets immediately. "GET ON THE GROUND NOW." He yelled and had the men down the sight of the barrel.
The three men immediately knew they couldn't get caught and made a break for the balcony. Yeonjun started shooting and hit one, sending him knocking the others off the balcony. The guards heard the shots and ran to the bedroom. "SIR ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!!"
"THERE ARE THREE ENEMIES OUTSIDE ON THE GROUND BELOW MY BALCONY I WANT YOU TO GO AND KILL THEM INCASE I MISSED. NOW!!!" Yeonjun screamed and the guards left to comply tk the orders. Yeonjun ran to see what the men were doing and was met with a shirtless and dead looking beomgyu.
"BEOMGYU??! BEOMGYU HEY!" he lifted his head and checked for a pulse. He wanted to cry when he felt breathing and a pulse and saw beomgyus eyes still open. Those assholes really had nerve breaking into his room and touching his things.
Yeonjun held beomgyus head up and didn't break eye contact.
Beomgyu couldn't tell what the voice was saying. Everything was so warbly and loud. He knew the blue hair earn though. Yeonjun. Thank God. Maybe he did hear him screaming.
Yeonjun was met with his mother running in. "YEONJUN!" His mother hugged him and cried. She heard the heirs room was attacked and nearly had a heart attack then and there.
"I sent the guards after them. I'm alright mom, beomgyu is drugged though is it fatal?can you get the doctors?!" Yeonjun seemed panicked and his mother was surprised to hear the boys name.
She took a look and pulled beomgyus eyelids up looking at his eyes. "Its a sedative sweetheart he just needs to sleep it off, i have to go see those Intruders now. Lock the balcony and bedroom door after i leave there could be more." His mother quickly left them and locked the bedroom door.
Yeonjun rushed and locked the balcony doors, then quickly returning to beomgyus side.
"I'm sorry I'm really sorry...they didn't get that far did they? Oh my God...i should've finished earlier I'm sorry..." Yeonjun grabbed beomgyus discarded shirt and gently covered him back up.
Beomgyu couldnt make out actual words right now but yeonjun knew what he wanted to say when tears still fell from his eyes.
"Its ok...they're gone."
Soobin had heard gunshots and grabbed Hueningkai faster than lightning, rolling on top of him and guarding his entire body tightly.
Hueningkai got scared but as guards rushing to the two of them. "Soobin! There was an attack it's been neutralized." The guards informed him and he let up on hueningkai a bit.
"Where was the attack??!" Soobin seemed like a cornered cat right now.
"Yeonjuns room, but he wasn't injured." Soobin let out a breathe he didn't know he had held and laid his head on Kai's chest relieved. "Thank you...you can go help aunty." Soobin shooed the guards away.
"Maybe we found our spy." Soobin smiled down at Kai as he lifted his head.
Kai was relieved when he heard the guard's words. He shouldn't have shown the men the way in in the first place...
"Kai? Here let's go to my room before it rains, aunty will want me there after the attack anyway." Soobin helped Hueningkai up and led him inside quickly.
"Ah, soobin I really have to get home..." Hueningkai was worried about making the old man wait but didn't know how to urge soobin to let him go.
"It's alright, you can call your parents there was an attack and it's about to rain it's too dangerous for you to leave." Soobin held Kai's hand tightly, reassuring him and leading him upstairs to his room.
"We're supposed to lock doors when a threat comes I'm sure you know why." Soobin closed the door behind Hueningkai and locked it, along with his balcony doors.
"There, safe and sound." Soobin saw rain from the window. "And just in time, it's raining..." Soobin went to turn on the Tv and handed Kai his cell phone.
"Call your parents." Soobin smiled.
Kai's heart raced as he looked at the phone in his hands, the dial pad screen showing. He could call them right? No. His parents would be in danger.. but if he called the police? Hueningkai gripped the phone. What would a mafia do to my family if the police were involved....
Kai handed soobin back his phone. "I'll just tell them when I see them." He sat on soobins bed and watched the TV.
Soobin was concerned why he didn't call but decided it might be a fragile question to push and dropped it.
"Guess we're having a sleepover after all." Soobin pointed to the news on the tv.
