"Sorry, should I rush you next time you have to go to the bathroom your highness?" Beomgyu took his seat. "Your highness?" Soobin asked.
"It's his pet name for me, now back to our plan. The three of us have to be on look out for the theif from here on out he could be right under our noses you know." Yeonjun laid out two wrapped items.
Yeonjun gave one to soobin and unwrapped one himself. They were guns. Beomgyu could clearly see that they were guns. They were planning to shoot the spy. They were planning to shoot Hueningkai.
"There are three tranquilizers for each gun so don't shoot unless you know it's him. Beomgyu relaxed at this. Tranqs were a little better than actual bullets at least.
"Hey wait. If I'm helping why don't I get one?" Beomgyu noticed there weren't three guns. "Do you really think my mother would let a se- a young boy like you have one?" He stopped when he remembered soobin was still next to them.
Beomgyu grimaced as he remembered what he technically was according to the Mafias queen. "Right..."
"Anyway, i have private lessons and Beomgyu has some too, so we have to go but feel free to explore the place soobin." Yeonjun grabbed beomgyus hand and waved to soobin.
Soobin frowned at the thought of being alone to wander the enormous place. Then remembered something he could do.
Yeonjun returned beomgyu to his room. "Sorry...i can't take you to my private lessons...mafia things..if I lock you in my room they won't chain you up, but I'm trusting you to not do anything stupid ok?" Yeonjun set a pile of books on the desk. "Here, I want you to read some self defense books they'll help you keep yourself safe around here ok?" Yeonjun dusted the books off.
Beomgyu watched the boy prepare all these things for him to do while hed be gone and smiled. Yeonjun then realized beomgyus clothing. "Have you been wearing those clothes since-?" Yeonjun stopped realizing it might be a sensitive topic.
"Since I was kidnapped it's alright you can say it." Beomgyu opened one of the books yeonjun prepared for him. Yeonjun frowned. "Hey...if it's any consolation...I'll he you back to your family after all this too...i promise. You can wear anything from my closet if you want. I'll be back later." Yeonjun left for his private lessons, locking the door from the outside.
Yeonjun felt kind of happy having someone to share all his things with, he didn't have a sibling, and wasn't allowed any friends that weren't related. He hadn't even left the mansion. Today, he was happy for when lessons could end though.
Soobin watched the new gardener from afar. Nervous about giving him the present he prepared. Didn't friends give eachother presents?
He saw the boy trip over a hand trowel and took this as the perfect time. "Hey, are you ok?" Soobin helped Hueningkai up. "Ah ..you saw that? Thanks." Hueningkai got up and dusted himself off.
"What's that?" Hueningkai noticed soobin was hiding something behind his back. "Oh...i thought it might help you." Soobin held out the sunhat.
Hueningkai tried it on. "How does it look?handsome right?" He posed with a smile. Soobin just now noticed the hat was meant to be a bit girly since it had pink flowers and held back a laugh.
"Thank you for the hat Soobin, but weren't you swimming with the other two?"
"Oh what? Me swimming? Hah. No we just met up there. Thanks for showing me the way. I have nothing to do but look around here and...i dont really know anyone else...so do you maybe want to explore with me?" Soobin was hoping he wouldn't have to explore the place by himself.
"Ah...but won't it look bad if the gardener is exploring?" Hueningkai was trying hard to pass as a gardener.
"A break won't hurt. Besides theres seven gardeners remember?they didn't tell you when you were hired?" Soobin was baffled why the boy was recruited so poorly. Did they not like him?
"Oh right sorry i must've forgotten, let's explore then!" Hueningkai quickly changed the subject and grabbed the boys hand to drag him around.
"Im new too, so don't expect me to know my way back if we get lost." Hueningkai pointed and warned soobin.
"I know, i just thought exploring with someone would be better." Soobin pushed open the front door.
Hueningkai thought this was the perfect time to scout the inside and look for the best break in points.
Soobin opened another door and saw that it was a large party room, very elegant looking. He was wondering why there was a weapons case when he heard a beautiful time playing behind him.
"Soobin look there's a piano!" Hueningkai happily was playing a song on the piano.
"You can play? Where'd you learn?" Soobin sat by him watching his fingers go across the keys.
"Self taught, my mom and I would...." Hueningkai frowned and remembered how worried his parents must be.....his playing stopped. "Hueningkai? ....you'd what?" Soobin gave the spaced out boy a concerned look but was relieved when the boy smiled.
"We would practice together and she thought I was good at it. Let's go see more things." Hueningkai got up and opened the next room. Soobin saw another weapons case in it and furrowed his brows confused. I'll have to ask aunty about them later..
Soobin saw bread appear in his face. "Doesn't it smell good!? Are we allowed to have some?" Hueningkai was holding the bread to soobins face and soobin smiled. "Ah I'm sure aunty wouldn't mind, i love bread she probably had it made for my arrival..." Soobin smiled and took a bite of the Bread.
"You like bread? Take some in case we get lost. Then we can leave a Bread trail." Hueningkai handed him a French bread loaf and kept walking when he saw the headwoman walking down the hall. He quickly he soobin and shoved him into the nearest door to hide.
Soobin was extremely confused why Hueningkai had pulled him in to hide but was more focused on how badly it smelled in this dark closet.
Hueningkai waited until he could no longer hear high heels tapping to exit the closet with soobin. Soobin there away the bread after smelling that closet he lost his appetite.
"Sorry...she just scares me. That closet smelt worse than death we should go back to the garden for fresh air.
"Ah...actually I want to find my room, yeonjun never showed me but said that it was across from his. " Soobin looked around for something that would resemble a bedroom door but all the doors looked the same.
"Maybe upstairs?" Hueningkai turned the corner and saw a large grand staircase. "Thats where the boss woman came from."
"The boss woman?" Soobin laughed. "Thats my aunt it's so weird hearing someone call her boss woman." He laughed almost the whole way up the staircase.
"Oh my god-"
