Chapter 11

The soul collectors flew in the night sky.
They reached a lake and slowly flew down there to a certain miko.

Kikyo lifted her hand in the air as one of the soul collectors rested on her hand. She listened to the information what her soul collectors have brought her.
"I see"

She let the soul collector flew in the air as some of them gave her some souls.
"Other than Kagome and the demon slayer
girl, there's another female hanging around Inuyasha," Kikyo said as she looked down at the lake.

Memories of spending time with Inuyasha floated in her mind as the water reflects everything.

Kikyo's pov,

Inuyasha, have you already forgotten me?
Naraku separated us. I plan to revenge on him, and...
Is it really that easy for you to forget me?
I guess you've changed a lot.

I watched a leaf fell into the lake.
Why can't I just forget you too?
Inuyasha, you promised me that your heart is mine...

Have you really forgotten me?

With Inuyasha and the gang,

Inuyasha smiled as he watched (Y/n) hugging Rin and ignoring Jaken who was complaining none stop. Sesshomaru was on the other side, leaning on a tree and staying by himself.

Miroku sat down beside Inuyasha.
"Inuyasha, can we talk for a moment?" he asked.
"What is it?"Inuyasha asked, crossing his arms as he looked at Miroku.

"Be honest with me like a man,"Miroku said, serious.
Inuyasha sweat dropped.
"O-ok," he said, nervous.

Miroku inched closer to him.
"You...are you and (Y/n)-sama together?" he asked and Inuyasha's eyes
widened as he blushed.
Miroku inched closer to his face.
"Come on, tell me," Miroku whispered.

Inuyasha sighed.
"Yeah," he said, finally admitting.
"(Y/n) and I are mates," he whispered and Miroku's eyes widened.
"Unbelievable," he said as he looked away and crossed his arms, staring into the fire.

The girls, Kohaku, Shippo and Jaken were on the other side, busy with their own.
"Well...I can't blame you or (Y/n)-sama for
that. That's for you guys to decide but, Inuyasha, have you forgotten Kagome-sama?"Miroku said and Inuyasha slightly flinched.

He took a deep breathe, sitting himself straight.
"I know that. I know I would be hurting her but, going to her when my feelings are not for her anymore would be lying to them. Same goes for Kikyo. I don't wanna do that to them. Well, they
would hate me at first, but, I will have to explain to them,"Inuyasha said.

Miroku sighed and smiled.
"Well, if you need anything, just tell me. You are still my best friend, Inuyasha. And
thanks for being honest," he said.
"Yea,thanks,"Inuyasha said, smiling.

Suddenly, Miroku crossed his arms and stared directly at Inuyasha.
"But Inuyasha, tell me. What makes women
like you so much? Why not me? You have three. Three whole women," he said and Inuyasha's face fell as he snickered.

"How the hell am I supposed to know?"

"Inuyasha!"(Y/n) said as she ran up to Inuyasha and hugged around his neck.
"What's wrong?"Inuyasha asked.
(Y/n) pouted at him.
"Jaken is being mean to me!"she whined.

"Am not!"Jaken shouted, swaying his staff.
Inuyasha grabbed a hold of his staff.
"What did you do to (Y/n)?"Inuyasha asked, giving a glare at the green demon who glared back.

"Keh. Better stay away from her,"Inuyasha said and hit Jaken's head. Jaken went knocked out.
"Inuyasha, Sango and I have to take a
walk, I'll be back,"(Y/n) said as she and Sango giggled.
Inuyasha raised a brow.
"Where are you going?" he asked.

"There's a hot spring near here. I need to wash up," Sango said, walking up beside
(Y/n) with Shippo and Kirara.
"Can I join?" Rin asked.
"Rin!"Jaken said, opposing.

"Of course .Come on, we will be back later,"(Y/n) said and Rin giggled as she joined them.
"Sure, but,stay on alert,"Inuyasha said.
"Thanks, see you!"(Y/n) said and quickly kissed his cheek before walking away with Sango, Rin, Shippo and Kirara.

Miroku smiled, happily as he stood up.
"Well...time for some fun for me," he said about to go after them but, Inuyasha pulled him back, holding his clothes from the back.
"If you don't wanna die, you might wanna
sit back here in my sight,"Inuyasha said with a dead seriousness in his voice and Miroku laughed nervously, afraid.

Jaken and Kohaku sweat dropped as they stared at Inuyasha and Miroku.
"Scary," Kohaku mumbled.

With Kagome,

Kagome sighed as she walked into Kaede's hut.
"Grandma Kaede, I'm back," she said, smiling and carrying her big yellow bag.

Kaede looked up in surprise as she stopped cooking dinner.
"Kagome, welcome back. I haven't seen you
for a while, where is Inuyasha and the
others?" she asked and Kagome blinked her eyes, confused.

"They are not back?" she said.
"No, it has been weeks since I last saw you guys," Kaede said as she sat back down.

"I see"
Kagome looked down as she set her bag down, upset after learning that they haven't gotten back here ever since she last saw Inuyasha.
"He didn't even come to get me," she thought and sighed.

"Grandma Kaede, I left something at my
home. I am going to go get it but, I will be
back," she said as she grabbed her bag and put it on her shoulders.
"Oh, sure. Be back soon," Kaede said as Kagome nodded and left, saying goodbye.

She started walking back towards the well, thinking about (Y/n).She was replacing her.
She sighed.
"Inuyasha, did you really forget me?" she mumbled to herself.

Just as she was about to reach the well, she saw a man sitting against the well. He was panting as he held himself.
Kagome saw that he was injured and walked up to him.
"Hey, are you ok?" she said and the man looked up at him.

"Humph. It's not your business so, scram," the man said, looking away.
Kagome rolled her eyes as she set her bag down.
"Well...at least, let me help you, you look
pretty bad right now," she said as she sat down and started taking out her medical aid.

The man looked at her confused.
"I thought I said to go away," he said.
He looked at her confusedly as Kagome grabbed his injured arm.
"Just let me help you and be on my way"

The man said nothing but, watched her interestingly treating his wounds.

After a while,

Kagome finally done bandaging up the mysterious man who kept staring at her.
"Done. Now, it won't get infected," Kagome said as she started to put her stuff back in her bag.

The man watched his injured arm and leg.
"Hmmm...it won't help but, thanks anyway," he said as he got up.
Kagome rolled her eyes, smiling.

She climbed onto the well.
"What are you doing?" the man asked.
"Well, I have to go home from here," Kagome said, as she waved at him.
"Then, I'll be on my way," she said, just as she was about to jump, the man called her.

"What's your name?"

Kagome smiled and looked back at him.
"Ka-go-me, my name's Kagome, well....see you around!" she said as she jumped into the well and left.

The man smirked.
"Not bad for a human," he said to himself and disappeared into the woods.
