Chapter 5

(Y/n) blinked her eyes as she woke up due to the sun shining.
She looked around to see that she was on the tree, sleeping in Inuyasha's arm. Inuyasha was still asleep. She blushed, remembering how Inuyasha and you sneaked out and mated.
They had come back before the sunrise.

She slowly got up and jumped down to the ground, landing perfectly. The others were still sleeping. She smiled and stretched herself as she sighed in pleasure.
"I think, today will be a good day," she mumbled.

Then, she realized she felt different today. Different from any other days.
She felt so much...stronger and more powerful.
She twirled a few strands of her hair on her shoulder and she saw that some strands of her long (h/c) hair was dyed with red.

Her eyes widened and she looked at her hand to see that her claws has gotten a bit longer and more sharper. She ran to the water and looked down at her reflection.

Her hair was longer and she looked more like a human today. Then, it hit her. Today was her 500th birthday! The day she receives all of her powers.

Shocked and excited, she accidently screamed out loud, causing everyone to wake up, alerted.
"What's wrong,(Y/n)?!"Inuyasha asked as he quickly rushed over to her side.

"Are you ok? Did something happen, (Y/n)-chan?"Sango asked, worried.
(Y/n) quickly turned around facing them.
"Sorry. Everything is fine. I was just excited," she apologized.

Everyone's eyes widened when they saw (Y/n)'s new looks. Inuyasha was amazed at her beauty as his jaws dropped.
"(Y/n)-chan?"Sango said, making sure it was the (Y/n) she knew.
"What it is, Sango-chan?"(Y/n) replied, casually.

"(Y/n),is that really you?"Shippo asked as he jumped into her arms.
(Y/n) smiled and nodded.
"Yes, Shippo. It is me," she said as she let him up on her shoulder.

Just then, Miroku suddenly grabbed her hands, snapping Inuyasha out of his world.
"(Y/n)-sama, you are glowing with beauty today. I will just go straight .Will you bare my child?"Miroku asked and (Y/n) screeched as she froze in shock.

Inuyasha growled and hit Miroku's head while Sango hit Miroku's head with Hiraikotsu.
"Ouch,"Miroku said as he smiled awkwardly and sat on the ground.
"He is an idiot,"Shippo said with a bored look.

Inuyasha turned to (Y/n) and smiled.
"But, he got that right. You are glowing today. Happy Birthday,(n/n),"Inuyasha said, smirking.

(Y/n) blushed, surprised.
"Today is her birthday?"Shippo questioned.
"Oh, you remembered?"(Y/n) said, blushing.

"Of course. Today is your special day,"Inuyasha said and she blushed harder.
"But, you look more pretty today,
(Y/n)-chan,"Sango said.
"Thanks. This is actually like my true form,"(Y/n) said.

"Do you mind if I ask how old are you by now,(Y/n)?"Shippo asked.
"Umm...500 years,"(Y/n) replied and Sango, Miroku and Shippo were shocked.
"You are 500 years old?!"they said and (Y/n) nodded normally.

"Older than me,"Inuyasha teased her.
"Humph. I am a half vampire. Of course, I am older than you,"(Y/n) replied, pouting.

"You look so young," Sango said.
"Thanks, Sango-chan"(Y/n) replied, blushing.

Then, she remembered about receiving her new powers. She clasped her hands together in surprise.
"Oh, I forgot. I need to try them out," she said and everyone looked at her with questioning looks.
"Try them?" they said at the same time.

(Y/n) smiled and winked at them.
"It's a surprise," she said, making everyone wonder.
