Chapter 15

Inuyasha stared at the lights from Sesshomaru's left arm which he cut off about years ago, surprised.
The others were surprised too.
"Sesshomaru-sama,I'm so glad that you're safe!"Jaken yelled happily.

(Y/n) smiled as she looked up to see Totosai on his bull. Sesshomaru also saw him.
"Totosai? Then, this is..."Sesshomaru thought as he swung his arm, producing a huge demonic power that destroyed the demons around him and then, the demons who marched towards him.

(Y/n) moved out of the way before Sesshomaru's demonic power hit her.
"Whoa!"

The demons that turned into pieces tried to regenerate failed due to the remaining powers of Sesshomaru's demonic arm.

Soon, the lights disappeared and everyone smiled happily to see Sesshomaru has finally got his left arm and plus, a new sword was on his side.

Totosai flew down to Sesshomaru's side.
"It finally appeared, huh, Sesshomaru? Behold, your own weapon, one that isn't inherited from your father, Bakusaiga," he said and Sesshomaru looked at his own sword that just appeared in his hand along with his left arm.

"Sesshomaru, you finally let it go,"(Y/n) said as she flew near Inuyasha.
"What do you mean?"Inuyasha asked.

"Sesshomaru has the power to create his own weapon unlike Tessaiga and Tenseiga which is from your father. But,his obssession on Tessaiga and the grudge he has held until now were in the way. Now, that he finally got rid of them,"(Y/n) explained to her mate.

"If he absorbs the demons, Naraku will be also destroyed!"Miroku said.

"No. It's useless. Even if Sesshomaru destroys him with Bakusaiga, he won't be dead,"(Y/n) said, loud enough for everyone to hear as she glared up at Naraku who was looking terrified.

He smirked although everyone could see that he was clearly feared by the fact that Sesshomaru got a new power now. He made a barrier around him once again.

"That's right. You'll never be able to kill me,"Naraku said.

(Y/n) smiled as the sky went a bit darker.
"But, if we destroy your heart"
Her crimson red demonic aura glowed from her body as her eyes locked on her target.

The others immediately noticed what was going on. It was just as they planned.

Kikyo was surprised and also slightly afraid, seeing how powerful (Y/n)'s aura was.

But, trying to focus on their plan, she shot her arrow with her miko powers.
The arrow hit Naraku's barrier and the barrier broke.

Naraku's eyes widened, shocked.
Kikyo, Miroku, Sango, Kohaku, Shippo, A-un and Jaken immediately got into the barrier that Rin was in.

The sky went even darker, causing the others not to see anymore.
"It's so dark!" Rin said.
"Don't worry, we're here," Kohaku said.

Meanwhile, in the dark outside of the barrier,

Naraku was terrified. He has slowly regenerated but, he was afraid and alerted ,not unable to figure out their next move.

Suddenly, a red glowing fang cut the barrier, making Naraku more alerted since he was now totally in the open air, in the dark.

Suddenly, something in a small barrier appeared in front of him. But, Naraku was unable to see what was it inside.
"What is it?" he thought.
Then, in a flash a powerful wave of demonic powers mixed with the colors of red, green and yellow hit the small barrier and broke it, destroying what was inside the barrier too.

The darkness started to disappear.

Naraku's eyes widened in horror as he saw what was inside the barrier.
The infant which he hid his heart in.
A huge pain went through him as the darkness started to wash away.

Slowly, he started to fade away due to the strong demonic powers.
Then,(Y/n) appeared in front of him.
She lifted her hand and the jewel fragments which were all together almost full, flew out of his left shoulder painfully and rested in her hands, completely purified once again.

Inuyasha and Sesshomaru stood in front of the barrier where the others were, watching (Y/n) and Naraku.

"Naraku, from now on, let go of your greed.
The jewel won't grant your wish even if it becomes full,"(Y/n) said as she combined the rest of the jewels with hers.

"It never will,"(Y/n) said with a calm face, yet showing a small symbol of sympathy.
"My wish?" Naraku mumbled as his eyes landed on Kikyo.

"All I ever wanted was Kikyo's heart," he thought.
"Naraku, the sins you've made so far until now. All the tricks you played to hurt the innocent ones, but, even after 50 years had passed, you never got what you truly wanted, did you?"(Y/n) said as she watched Naraku slowly fading away.

Naraku looked back at her, slowly realizing that she was right. He forced himself to smile.
"All I ever wanted was her heart. Looks like I can't even join her in death or even in the next life," he thought as he closed his eyes and let himself fade away.

It was over.
Naraku was defeated.
"It's over," Sango said, her eyes staring up at the sky that has started to become a beautiful morning light.

Miroku broke the barrier around them and Sesshomaru kept his new sword back. Inuyasha did the same.

He looked up at the sky where his mate was looking somewhere far away.
"(Y/n)?"

She heard and turned to him, smiling.
Everyone was smiling at her even Sesshomaru.

She smiled and flew back to where her friends and the love of her life were, with the almost completed purified jewel.

But, at that moment, she and Kikyo had the same thought on their minds.

I hope you can have a better life next time, Naraku.
