Chapter 27

She wasn't just gonna stand there.

After pinching her wrist Evelyn stormed into his arms where he received her with an ardent hug. Evelyn closed her eyes against his chest and knew no boundaries of anger mixed with longing. She punched his stomach playfully like when they were younger and she even let herself laugh it off as she picked her head off him to meet his soft brown eyes. His hands were still around her and Evelyn's smile fell as it radiated on to his lips. 

She didn't know how to feel but her heart surged with too much to control and her hands plunged into his wet tousled hair as her mouth covered his parted lips, with yearning. Levi held on to her small body as he pulled on her bottom lip and he pushed her up helping her wrap her legs around his waist.

The weather intensified, as well. The cold rain turned into flurries of kind snow whirling around them like butterflies. 

When Evelyn unwrapped her legs from Levi she was gently set on foot and her eyes fluttered open as her lips left his. Evelyn might have not known how to feel about Levi but the longing for him was stronger and specially now that he was there with her.

Levi cleared his throat and heaved a sigh. He knew what was on Evelyn's mind...

   Evelyn slammed the door behind her and spun around sticking herself against the door to look at Levi who she had thrust on top of her bed and was sitting up to look at her. He looked like he was about to say something but Evelyn tore her top off and stood in front of Levi in a bra and looked him in the eye. "Save your words for later, please." She always made time for being polite but as of now Evelyn was to discover her not so polite side.

Evelyn's hands climbed Levi's chest while tugging at his coat. He slipped it off and so did his shirt go bye-bye. His abs and tattoos intimidated Evelyn making her tongue tied but she was pulled into a kiss which she reciprocated breathlessly to. Levi's touch on her body was cold from the weather but Evelyn loved it. Her hair loosened and Levi parted from her hungry mouth to see for himself Evelyn wasn't her shy-self which made him horny, hardcore. Her hands climbed past her bra where she pulled down on the straps and looked at him. Levi couldn't hold back and he shot forward helping her unclasp the bra from the back. When her bra dropped Evelyn melted into his arms and Levi turned her over so that he was on top of her. Evelyn was smiling beneath him breathing deeply while feeling his biceps. She met his eyes and pulled him down to her lips where he circled her mouth with his warm tongue. 

He made love to her that night leaving Evelyn with a full heart.

Levi left her house on account that her parents had come home. Her giggles followed him all the way through just to haunt him from the fact he had not told her the reason he was back in town. He didn't get to tell her because his reasons had been thwarted only because the time she was willing to sleep with him had to be then when he had been trying so hard to let her go...

(The next day) The thrill of last night was still there, she had spent the entire night thinking of how amazing it had all went. The fact Levi was able to get away before getting caught made her laugh in her sleep. Thing was, she didn't sleep at night because she was in love, all over again.

Her mind was playing colors of all kinds and her footsteps even felt lighter. She didn't care anymore what her parents wanted of her. She could live in secret if it meant sneaking Levi in and out. She didn't want to be that good girl.

Love was better than that.

But when she stepped out of the house that morning Levi was standing by the gate with his arms crossed before his chest. He wasn't really smiling but Evelyn couldn't stop herself from doing so. The smile on her face was hurtful and worth it, not until Levi told her what he needed to say to her the night before she let it happen.

"We need to talk, Evelyn Morrell." Evelyn's smile fell and a frown took over, feeling her heart race with unknown speed.
