On September 1st the went to platform 9 ¾ together and decided to sit together on the train. They were a little early so they grabbed a compartment, so if any of their other friends wanted to join them they could. They got that pleasure about 10 minutes later when Ron Weasley walked into the compartment.
"Why is he sitting with us?" Asked Ron.
"He is me friend, Ron." Hadrian replied.
"Look, Weasley. I don't really care for you, but I am willing to put up with you, as I enjoy Ri's company. I am sorry for anything I did last year to upset you. We don't need to be friends, but I at least would like us to be civil." Said Draco.
     "Fine."
"Thanks, Ron." Hadrian said with a smile and gave the same on to Draco.
"How was your summer Harry?" Asked Ron.
"It's Hadrian." Hadrian was getting very annoyed with Ron calling him Harry.
"But I used to call you Harry."
"And now I ask that you call me Hadrian, they are similar but I prefer Hadrian."
"Fine" Ron replies, he really didn't get why he couldn't call him Harry.
Later on Hermione came and joined them and Draco apologised to her and they agreed to be civil to each other too. Hadrian was really happy that he had amazing friends.

Once they got to Hogwarts they went their separate ways to their houses tables to watch the sorting and eat the welcoming feast. Ron's little sister named Ginny was sorted into Gryffindor, as well as a boy named Colin Creevy who wanted to take pictures of everything, especially Hadrian.
The first week went by in a blur of talking with friends and classes. On Saturday evening Hadrian and Ron were outside flying on the Quidditch pitch when they realized it was past curfew. They quickly put Ron's broom in the broom cupboard, and made their way back to the castle. Unfortunately, Professor Lockhart was on patrol and caught Ron and Hadrian giving them both a detention the following Friday, Hadrian's with himself, and Ron's detention with Filch cleaning the trophy room. Both boys complained the entire way up to the Gryffindor common room, neither liking the person they were stuck in detention with.

The following Friday night they both went to their detention at 8pm. Hadrian had to address loads of fanmail for Lockhart, while Lockhart talked about his many adventures of fighting werewolves and vampires in different countries, and his many books about himself. It was getting late when Hadrian heard a voice, he almost jumped when he heard it, as it wasn't any voice he recognised.
When he asked Lockhart if he heard it, he replied he didn't, but it was getting late so Hadrian should be off to bed. Hadrian then went back to the dormitories, he was so sure he had heard a voice, but how had Lockhart not heard it. He decided to brush it off and not worry about it, maybe that's what hours of addressing fanmail does to you.
It was the second time he heard the voice when he was walking with Hermione, Ron and Draco going down to potions class.
"Did you guys hear that?" Asked Hadrian.
"Hear what?" Asked Draco, who gave him a worried look.
"That voice, it was the same one I heard when I was in detention with Lockhart."
"Nope, nothing mate. We didn't hear anything, are you sure you're not imagining it?" Replied Ron.
"Even in the wizarding world it isn't a good sign that you're hearing things that other people can't." Said Hermione.
"Okay, yeah, I'm probably imagining it." Said Hadrian, he knew he definitely heard something but decided to ignore it again.
The next week Draco made it on the Slytherin Quidditch team, in the seekers position. Hadrian and Draco played loads of seeker vs seeker games against each other over the next month, Hadrian mostly won, but they both loved flying and each others company.
It was on Halloween when Hadrian heard the voice again, he was on the way to the Library when he heard the voice again and decided to follow it. He ran until he lost the voice and came face to face with Ms. Norris, Filch's cat, petrified and hanging under the words 'The chamber has been opened, enemies of the heir beware.' Hadrian was soon accompanied by loads of teachers and students. Filch screamed at Hadrian saying that he killed his cat, Dumbledore then said it wasn't dead, but petrified and could be cured when Professor Sprouts mandrake's had grown into adults. As the potion to cure petrification needed mandrakes with many other ingredients.
Hadrian then went down with Severus to their quarters, and he told him that he heard a voice but no one else could hear it, then when he followed the voice it led him to Ms. Norris. Severus told Hadrian to be weary and always walk with other people, and then Severus walked Hadrian back up to his dormitory.
The next few weeks past and there were no more attacks, and with it being November there was the first Quidditch match of the season. The game was between Slytherin and Gryffindor, and Hadrian and Draco were looking forward to playing against each other.
Both teams made their way onto the pitch, and after Madame Hooch blew her whistle both teams set off into the sky. The game was fast paced and was filled with shoves from both teams. Gryffindor quickly was leading 50-30 when a bludger almost hit Hadrian, he dodged and continued looking for then snitch, when it came straight back for him. He managed to dodge again, but the bludger wouldn't leave him alone, the Weasley twins tried to hit the bludger with their bats but it went straight back for Hadrian. A few minutes of dodging later and Hadrian saw the snitch, he went for a steep dive and the bludger followed, Draco then saw where Hadrian was going and quickly followed, they raced around the pitch, weaving in and out of the stands. Hadrian was almost close enough to catch it, he reached out his hand, but didn't dodge in time and his arm got hit. He didn't stop and kept chasing the snitch though. He dodged the bludger again and had both hands off the broom and reached out with his left hand and quickly grabbed the snitch. He then fell off his broom tumbled onto the ground. Draco landed and jumped off and ran to where Hadrian had fallen. The bludger was still trying to get to Hadrian, so he had to roll away from where it was coming to hit him on the ground. When it shot back in the air Hermione said 'Finite Incantatem', and the bludger exploded and stopped going after Hadrian. Draco already was by Hadrian's side asking if he was okay. Severus was by his side shortly after Draco as he left the teachers stand as soon as he saw his son fall, Hermione and Ron ran to where he was too, they all seemed worried, but Hadrian was just happy he caught the snitch. The rest of the Gryffindor team crowded around him and cheered for him.
They took Hadrian to the hospital wing to get his broken arm repaired, it was broken in multiple spots and was forced to stay the night. His dad was less than impressed that he didn't come straight to the ground, after his arm broke, but Hadrian convinced him that next time his arm broke in a game he would go down to the ground.
Hermione and Ron went back to the Gryffindor common room for the celebratory party, and Severus had to go talk to his Slytherins about the game. That left Draco and Hadrian in the Infirmary together.
Hadrian and Draco talked for a while, and Hadrian tried to convince him that he was fine. The house elves brought them sandwiches for lunch and they played some wizarding chess to pass the time. In the afternoon Hadrian was feeling tired as he couldn't sleep well last night, and neither did Draco, they agreed to take a nap on the Infirmary bed. They both fell asleep quickly, as they were both exhausted.
About an hour later Severus walked into the Infirmary and smiled, Hadrian and Draco were both sound asleep, and Draco had one arm around Hadrian. He went back down to his office to grab his muggle camera. He came back to the Infirmary and took a picture of them, he then let the boys sleep as he went and talked with Madame Pomfrey. The boys woke up an hour later, and both blushed when Severus walked in.
The boys spent the rest of the afternoon working on homework, as Hadrian and Draco both helped each other. Draco was great at astronomy, and bad at history of magic, and Hadrian was bad at astronomy, but good at history of magic. By the time the boys completed all their homework, it was already pretty late and Draco had to go to the Great Hall for dinner.
When Hadrian was about to go to sleep, Dobby showed up and told Hadrian he wasn't safe, and that he thought after he charmed the bludger to go after him he would go home. Hadrian was very mad at Dobby, but after Dobby promised not to do anything to hurt him again, Hadrian forgave him. Dobby also mentioned that he didn't like his owners and wish he could be a free elf. He was about to whack his head against the wall when people entered the hospital wing and he disappeared.
The people who walked into the hospital wing were teachers with a student, Colin Creevy, who had been petrified. They tried to look into his camera if he took a picture of his attacker, but it blew up in a puff of smoke when they tried. Hadrian started to get worried, what will happen next? What's petrifying them? Hadrian heard his dad talking to professor McGonagall about what they should do, as the school isn't safe if students are getting petrified.
Hadrian eventually fell into an uneasy sleep about half an hour later, his sleep was filled with nightmares, he had his silencing spells around his bed so he wouldn't wake the whole hospital wing.
The next morning he was released from the hospital wing and went to the Great Hall, he sat at the Slytherin table with Draco. Most of Draco's friends didn't mind Hadrian sitting with them, and they thought Hadrian was pretty funny. Hadrian also learned all about Pureblood edicuit over the summer and had mastered it quickly. Pansy liked to joke about Hadrian's choice of clothes, as his favourite colours was purple and most days wore purple polo shirts under his school robes. The purple totally clashed with the red and yellow Gryffindor colours, but Hadrian mostly did this just to bother her.
Most days either Hadrian would sit with Draco at the Slytherin table or Draco would join him at the Gryffindor table. Both Hadrian and Draco's friends were fine with the other, but not their other friends, so they would constantly switch between them.
Dumbledore informed everyone of the attack against Colin, and warned everyone to be cautious. Professor Lockhart also decided it would be a good idea to start a duelling club to help students be prepared.
It's the first duelling club meeting and everyone is excited. Professor Snape agreed to help with the club, and the teachers showed the students how to disarm their opponent. Snape hit Lockhart with 'Expelliarmus' and he flew across the room. Professors Snape and Lockhart called upon Harry and Draco to give a demonstration, the bow and then start firing hexes, and jinxes at each other. They are both doing well until Draco yells 'Serpensortia'. A snake shoots out of his wand. Lockhart tries to get rid of it, only for it to get angry. The snake starts to slither towards a Hufflepuff, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Harry suddenly speaks Parseltongue and tells it not to attack him. Everyone gasps, and then Snape vanishes the snake. After that everyone is dismissed. But not before everyone goes ballistic about Hadrian talking to the snake.
Draco went over to Harry and starts asking loads of questions, as he's a parselmouth and never told Draco. The boys then went their separate ways back to their common rooms.
The following day the rumors that Harry was the heir of Slytherin went around, as he could speak parseltongue like the founder, Salazar Slytherin. Fred and George Wealsey went around following Hadrian yelling "Heir of Slytherin coming through!", and everyone would move out of the way. Hadrian really hated the attention that everyone was giving him, and only his closest friends weren't ignoring him.
A week later as Harry was coming back from having tea with Hagrid, he heard the voice again and followed it, he was trying to chase the voice when he saw the petrified body of Justin Finch-Fletchley and Nearly headless Nick, the Gryffindor ghost. Harry was standing over Justin, and then some teachers and students arrived, they all started yelling that he was caught in the act. Professor McGonagall sent him up to see the headmaster. Once he arrived in the headmasters office, Dumbledore was not at his desk, instead a phoenix sat in his cage on the corner of the desk. It then caught fire and burned into ashes, Hadrian was startled and he jumped backwards. The headmaster then walked into his office and Hadrian started panicking trying to explain that the phoenix just caught fire and he didn't do anything. Dumbledore explained that it wasn't his fault and that when a phoenix is ready to die, it burns up and a new phoenix is born from its ashes. Then a little baby phoenix poked its nose out of the ashes just like Dumbledore said it would.
Hagrid then burst through the headmaster's door carrying a dead rooster, and said 'it can't be Hadrian's fault, he was having tea with me minutes before and couldn't have had enough time to do it.' Dumbledore calmed both Hagrid and Hadrian's nerves by telling them that Hadrian couldn't have done it. He then sent Hadrian back to the Gryffindor common room. He didn't give Hadrian anymore information other than it wasn't his fault.  So Hadrian spent his time on the walk back to the common room wondering about what cold be petrifying the students.
