[We open on a shot of Andrew Thompson in B.E.V, we realize that he is in New York as cut to high rise buildings]
V.O: As kids we always dream of making it big in the world.
[Cut to Andrew taking a step out onto the street, he walks to cross road and waits for red light, as he does Camera angle changes to side profile]
V.O: And eventually those dreams die down into regular... realistic goals. Ones your parents can be proud of. Now not everyone does this, some... Some never let go of the dreams. Others say its ridiculous, but you just have to turn around and-
[Andrew V.O is cut off by honking horn of a Taxi driver]
Taxi Driver: Go home tourist! *honks horn again*
Andrew: sorry! Sorry! *dashes off across road and into a quiet alley way* First day in a new place and already don't belong *huffs*
[Andrew makes his way to tall building, a faded sign reads "Jacobs writing workshop" "Got the story? We got the press.™ "]
[Andrew pulls out pages of an unidentified book]
V.O: It's probably for the best. If everyone chased their dreams then dreams wouldn't be so hard to accomplish. They wouldn't feel special... I don't feel special enough already.
[Andrew grabs his phone, the screen lights with a text from Laura (Andrews girlfriend, we later find out) The text reads: "good luck on your first day, Baby! <3" Andrew smiles at the text and puts it back in his pocket. He looks up at the building]
[A hand slaps on the glass from the inside. We see a man with a cigarette in his mouth]
Man: Hey kid! You gonna move or will I have to call the cops on ya?
Andrew: Oh no see I'm here for.... *steps forward* I'm here to achieve my dreams
[Camera Angle lifts up from his face as the title "The Big Idea™" appears]
[Screen fades to blue sky as it transitions to the next scene]
