We went inside and were greeted by Trey.

"Oh my gosh is that Jamie?" He asked

"The one and only." She said doing a little spin  

"Come here." He said embracing her in a hug

She was smiling so hard.

"Alright so we got some catching up to do. So if you don't mind she comin with me." I said pulling her away

"Bye Trey."

"See you Jamie."

We went up to my room and she just sat there staring at the ceiling.

"What's up?" I asked concerned

I'm just thinking about how me and Trey's baby is finna be a nice lil brown skin boy." 

I threw a pillow at her head and she laughed.

"Anyways, you never told me what rapper you worked for."

"Xxxtentacion."

"Stop playing, I love him, he's cute as shit, his friends are cute, he makes great relateable music, he gets me hype everyday. That man can do it all."

"For real."

"But you know Georgia got her nudes leaked?" She said

"It's the first day of school, and plus she's always doing something with somebody."

"For real."

"I hope this year we get a new shipment of boys at our school, cause these boys are not it." She said

"What about Tyler?" I said 

"I guess he's fine."

"Mark."

"Ouu I forgot about him, he's the finest white boy I've ever seen."

"I know, but now he's a senior, so no more looking at him in the always soon."

"Yeah, you should shoot your shot." She said 

"I don't know if he's my type."

"Fuck a type."

"I don't know."

"Y'all act like bestfriends? You hug each other in the hallways you talk to his friends sometimes, I think you have a good chance of getting with him."

"Maybe we'll see tomorrow." I said 

"Yup."

"Anyways, the squad should go out tomorrow or something?" She said 

"Yess. Lemme text one and only's (our group chat name)"

I texted them and they all said they were free.While I texted the group chat, Jahseh texted me. He asked if I wanted to come over, and that his friends were there too. 

"You up to go meet my boss?" I asked

"His friends gon be there?"

"Yes."

"Then yeah."

I texted him back with a simple omw. We went back downstairs and, Clarence was there with a pretty girl watching Netflix.

"Where y'all going?"

"Jahseh's house, he invited us over."

"Oh, well this is my GIRLFRIEND queen."

"Nice to meet you." I said

"You too, maybe we can hang out and get to know each other."

"Yeah, I'll see y'all later." I said walking out

We got in my car and we went to his house.

"Entering Cross Creek. Girl this is one of the richest neighborhoods around." She said reading the sign

I smiled and went to his house. I parked and we got out. You could see all the lights from the driveway. 

"He has big boy money." She laughed

"You haven't seen anything."

I unlocked the door and there was him and his friends playing on the play station and smoking.

"What's up Eleanor." He said getting up to hug me

This was a very nice hug.

While X and Elle were talking I immediately locked eyes with Ski mask the slump god. He made a hand gesture telling me to come over. I did and I sat next to him. 

"What's your name?" He asked

"Jamie."

"I'm-"

"Ski mask the slump god aka Stokeley Goulbourne, Aires, just turned 18 I believe."

"Woah, you do your research huh?"

"Only for interesting people."

"So you think I'm interesting now?" 

"I- uhh-"

"Wanna hit?" A guy with super curly hair asked putting a blunt in my face

"No thanks. My parents would freak."

"You sure, it's really fun." He said

"I'm positive, but next time on everything you can bet I'm taking a hit."

"Bet." He said 

He continued to play the game while Ski continued to talk to me. 

"So how old are you?" He asked

"17. Turning 18 next week."

"Cool cool."

"So you working on any new music?" I asked

"Yeah, there's an album that's gonna come out soon."

"I wanna listen." 

"I'll let you listen if you let me take you out."

Did ski mask the slump god just ask me out. I'm so thankful Eleanor got a job this summer. 

"Alright then."

"Tomorrow aight?" He said 

"Ok."

He took my phone and put in his number.

"I'll text you later alright?" 

"This is awesome. Sorry I'm totally fangirling right now." I said covering my face

He took my hands off my face and smiled.

"You're fine."

"You ready to go Jay?" Eleanor asked

"Noooooooo." I whined

"Come on it's about to be 6." 

"Alright, but you're gonna buy me a Mcflurry on the way home."

"Ok."

"Bye Ski."

"Just call me Stokeley."

"Bye stokeley."

"Bye Jamie."

I got up and left with Elle and she got me my Mcflurry and dropped me off home.
