Hopewing was born from the medicine cats of Windclan and Shadowclan. He was born without an eye or a back paw. He was left to die by his mother, but was saved by the Shadowclan deputy Flowerpeak. He was courageous and outgoing but became slightly more reserved when he became a medicine cat apprentice. He became more and more timid and reserved as his clanmates bullied him for his disfigurements and the circumstances of his birth. He is bisexual and leans more towards toms.
