Teddy couldn't help but feel...weird.
His feelings in his gut. He felt somehow, different from the others. He felt different from the fact that he saw himself as a sort of, odd.
He stared at Henry for a bit. Was this true? Was it not? What was he supposed to feel with Henry in general?
Henry's his friend. He knew that. He understood it. He got it. But a tugging grabbed a hold of Teddy and pulled him into this lair of confusion. His head hurt a bit. He felt like he was going to vomit.
This was bad. Or...good?
Henry was black. Teddy was caucasian. A bit Chinese as well. People of two different colors, especially black and white, dating? That's unheard of in most parts of town. Why was he thinking about dating? What was the matter with him?
Teddy had always considered himself straight. Or, he was asexual. He assumed the one thing that would make sense.
He's gay.
Fuck. He said it. Lord almighty, what was bound to happen now?
"Ted? You good?" Henry asked. He had a weird face. Teddy was staring too long.
"Uh...yuh-yeah, yeah. Sorry. Lost my train of...thought." He said.
"M'kay. Well, I oughta see what with this house." Henry said.
"Yeah. Um. Go do that," Teddy said. "Don't get bitten...?"
Henry scowled at him confusingly. He shrugged and went off to the other one room in the house.
"Suave, Ted-ster." Teddy murmured.
"Are you okay, Teddy? You look constipated." Breezy asked.
"Yeah I'm good. I'm just uh..," Teddy made a clicking noise with his tongue. "Just here."
"Uh...huh..." Breezy said slowly. She turned around and talked to Simon.
Teddy leaned against the window. He looked outside in the afternoon sun. He sighed and thought for a few minutes.
Until they came.
Patrick Hothstetter and his gang of goons had grabbed a car. It was a Chevy Camero, an extremely expensive car, painted crimson red. It had golden rims on the wheels, and from the looks of it, the interior was also red.
The Camero blared heavy metal music, as they stepped out of the car. Patrick got a new makeover, with a leather jacket and a black and white striped shirt. He had black ripped jeans, with a gold chain hanging from it. He had black shoes, and his hair was in liberty spikes.
Punk boy.
The others dressed like him, except Chloe Sunny wore black jean shorts and a pink shirt.
"Nice hairstyle, bitch ass." Simon whispered, looking out the same window Teddy was.
"We know your in there, KIDDIES!" Patrick shouted. "We got some new kids on the block wanting to knock the shit outta you!"
"Typical. Won't leave us alone." Breezy said. She opened the door.
Henry and Teddy went outside with Simon and Breezy. They stood 4 feet away from the bully gang.
Patrick pointed to a tall and skinny kid with bleached hair, who was smoking.
"This is ah...Jack. McCarran." Patrick said. He point to another next to Jack, a shorter kid who probably weight 500 pounds. He had red and greasy hair and looked pale as hell.
"This is Austin Martinez." Patrick said. "Now, lets get with the-"
"Holy shit! Look!" Chloe shouted. She pointed to the left of Teddy. Teddy looked, and there was Breezy standing, gun in hand.
"Breezy. Don't. Don't. Please." Simon murmured to her. Breezy's breathing heavily increased. She pointed her gun at Chloe Sunny.
"What the fuck are you doing? Are you insane?!" Patrick shouted.
"She don't got the balls to pull the trigger. Ain't that right, princess?" Austin said.
"Tell me death feels like, self righteous BITCH!" Breezy screamed. She pulled the trigger, but swiftly, Simon knocked Breezy's arm down, shooting the dirt. Dry soil was sprayed everywhere, as an insanely loud BOOM!!! sounded.
Teddy's ears were ringing, as he staggered, trying to get up. He looked at the bullies. They were slowly trying to get in their car.
Teddy's hearing slothfully was gained over time.
"-IN THERE YOU FATASS!" Jack shouted, he pushed Austin into the car, which he climbed inside.
"This ain't over!" Patrick shouted. Before he drove away, Breezy shoves Simon violently. She aimed and fired at the car, the bullies too dumb to know where to sit.
Chloe was standing there, her face terrified. Red mist blasted from her head and she flew backwards.
"FUCK!!!" Simon screamed. He tackled Breezy. The car screeched with the screaming bullies inside, driving away.
Teddy finally noticed that Henry held him tight, his arms locked around him. His eyes were closed extremely tightly. His breathing was calming down.
Teddy was terrified. He looked at the dead girl in the middle of the street, laying in a pool of her own blood.
"What the living fuck is wrong with you?!" Simon shouted at Breezy. Breezy wore a scared and blue expression, looking as if she would pass out.
She didn't answer.
The birds sung their song in the distance, as Teddy wrapped his arms around Henry as well.
