Chase Williams walked to the lunchroom with friends all around him.
Ahh! Social reputation tastes sweet, Chase said once in his old 40's style accent. Sometimes, sonny, ya gotta realize you're perfect for the crowd!
Chase walked in with a smile. Chase was a sort of...clown. The good kind, he thought. But in reality, he made a fool of himself most of the time. That only gets covered up by the dozens of people he knows.
Chase saw Simon all the way in the back of the cafeteria. He usually sat by himself. And when he did, Chase would sit with him.
But this time, Simon had a girl with him. Fairly pretty girl, almond colored hair, wearing clothes she bought possibly last year. Simon was chatting his mind away, and she occasionally laughed.
Chase felt a tap on his shoulder. It was one of his friends.
"Hoth alert. Only one though." He whispered.Indeed, Patrick Hothstetter stomped his filthy self towards Simon's table. Simon was his friend. Time to be his knight in shining armor!
"Wait here. Paps gotta take care of business." Chase said, and he walked to Simon's table.
"What's up, Si?" Chase said, sitting down. He smiled.
"...Nothing much, Chase. Uh...Chase, meet Belle. Belle, meet Chase." Simon said, his eyes dashing between them."Well hello, hello young lady!" Chase said, waving a bit to Belle. She waved back silently.
"Oh by the way, Si. Hoth alert." Chase whispered.
"Hoth ale-?" Belle almost said, before being suddenly interrupted by Patrick slamming his hands on the table.
"Ahh. Hello, Mr. Hothstetter! What brings you to this fine table?" Chase said.
"Shut it, blonde." Patrick said. He looked at Simon and at Belle.
"Ooh, looky here! Orphan boy got himself a girlfriend!" Patrick exclaimed.
"Don't call me orphan boy." Simon said, silently.
"What's that? Did you talk back to me?" Patrick said angrily, pushing Simon.
"Aye aye aye, calm down Hothstetter." Chase said, getting up and facing him.
"You think I'm AFRAID of you?" Patrick said. "You can't and WON'T do anything to me. So sit and spin on it, four eyes!" Patrick shouted, shoving Chase.
Chase had forgotten about his glasses. He didn't exactly have 20/20 vision. His glasses helped him.
"Hey princess, didja know this freak here killed his parents? Oh god, it was brutal!" Patrick said to Belle. Belle looked nervous and uncomfortable.
"SIMON NO! PLEASE MY SON, STOP STABBING ME! AHHH!!" Patrick's blood-curdling scream echoed through the cafeteria.
Chase couldn't do anything. He knew that. Patrick weighed 200 pounds heavier than him and had the hands of a bull. Chase would fall like Legos with one slip of Patrick's hands.
There was obviously something wrong with Patrick. He was probably insane.
"Heh heh. This bitch rubbed his moms organs all over his walls! Oooh it was a bloody mess, I gotta tell ya." Patrick said. He laughed manically.
Simon got up and instantly went in front of Patrick, whom stood 4 inches above Simon.
"Simon, don't." Chase said a little silently. He chose to just let this happen if it did.
Simon looked a little to the left and looked at the table behind Patrick. Oh god. What the hell was he planning?
Simon launched himself towards Patrick and pushed him into the many lunches on the table. He laid there, unbelievable anger shown on his face.
"Holy shit!" Chase shouted. He giggled. Patrick kicked three kids and got up on the table.
"I'LL MAKE YOU REGRET BEING BORN, YOU FUCKING IDIOT!" Patrick shouted so loudly, everyone in the entire cafeteria turned their heads to him. Patrick's entire behind was covered in minimum wage food and juice stains. It looked so disgusting and hilarious, people took pictures of him and laughed.
"Go ahead. Make fun of me. GO AHEAD!" Patrick shouted, on the verge of killing someone. Patrick exited the cafeteria, juice dripping down his ripped jeans.
"Dude. Holy cow." Chase said to Simon. Even Simon looked surprised to what he had done.
"I...I did that?" Simon said.
"Hell's yeah you fookin' did!" Chase said in an Australian accent, slapping Simon's back. He chuckled and looked at Belle. But Belle left the table and went somewhere else. Simon's smile faded.
"C'mon. Let's go find that girl, yeah?" Chase said, patting Simon's shoulder. He turned and smiled again.
"Mhmm." Simon responded.
