Draaaaamaaaaa...

"Jesus..." Henry said bluntly, watching as Belle disappeared from the playground.

The playground was silent. Only the weeps and sniffs of Breezy were sound. Chase still had his arm around her shoulders.

Henry kneeled in front of Breezy.

"You ok? I don't expect anything this clown does to help anyone." Henry said, nodding to Chase. Chase smiled.

Breezy nodded. It was a slow nod.

Henry got up and sat on the swing.

Awkward.

"Uh...if you'd like, you can have my granola bar?" Chase offered to Breezy. "It'll get you movin' apparently. Very average advertising, I must say." Chase read the wrapper on the blue granola bar. Admittedly, the bar was kind of flat as Chase sat on it. But it was still edible.

Breezy's mascara smeared face rose from her arms and grabbed the granola bar. She calmly ate it as she looked towards the sky.

Chase got up and leaned on the jungle gym nearby.

"Well, uh...I guess this groups going up in flames. Call me when this is sorted. I'm just gonna...go home." Henry said. He doesn't take kindly to awkward situations, apparently.

Chase waved Henry goodbye. Both Chase and Breezy sat there. Oh, well, Chase stood, but he didn't really do anything.

"It's okay if you wanna go home too. I'll be okay." Breezy said.

"Well...I guess my nose does feel kinda funny. The fucker Simon can punch hard, let me tell ya." Chase shook his head in disbelief.

Breezy got up and threw the wrapper at Chase. She had a smile.

"Thanks...I guess." Breezy said.

"Y'know there's a trash can like...right there." Chase said. He pointed at a baskets full of trash near the park benches. He went over and threw the wrapper away.

The two of them stood at the playground for a few more minutes before Breezy decided to go. She went over and hugged Chase. Something that comes when the stars align or something.

Chase waved her goodbye and walked away as well. Thinking of, Chase had to run down the Walgreens and grab a few things for his grandma.

So he did.

Chase arrived at Walgreens at probably 3 pm. It was a walks away from Michaels Park, so it took him a little while. Thank god he had his Walkman.

He got his things for grandma and headed home.

Chase wondered what it would be like in the future. The end of the year is coming up in about a month or so. What's gonna happen to his friends? What's gonna happen to him?
