Teddy walked to school, earlier than his usual late attendance.
His frown was stuck on his face. His hands in his pockets.
He missed Henry.
Henry was gone the entire week. He hadn't contacted anyone this entire week, either.
"Hey!" A persons voice shouted at him.
Teddy turned, painfully hoping it was Henry. But who walked towards him was Oliver.
Oliver wore black jeans and a white, saggy shirt. He also had Vans. Very popular shoes.
Oliver's smile faded, noticing Teddy's frown.
"He's not back yet?" Oliver asked.
"No. I was hoping I just...didn't see him..." Teddy said. He looked at his feet.
Oliver put his arms around Teddy and hugged him. Teddy hugged him as well.
He felt like crying. He wanted to. But it was only 5 days, right? He'll be back...right?
"It'll be okay, man. Just...look at the positive side." Oliver said. He stopped hugging Ted and soon the two walked slowly to school together.
"You're wearing a t-shirt in this weather?" Teddy asked.
"Yeah...it's not that bad..." Oliver said.
Teddy noticed that Oliver was slowly coming out of his bubble. He said words louder, and more coherent. He smiled more. He pronounced words better.
Something was up with him.
"What's up, man. Why are you like...not shy anymore?" Teddy asked.
"Eh...I'm...uhh..," Oliver began. "Um...So there's a girl, I like a lot. And...I'm confessing my feelings for her, today."
"Oh-ho! Good work, Ollie. I wish you the best-est of luck." Teddy said.
