They sat in silence on the drive back. Harry's leg jumped up and down and Louis wished he could hold his hand for comfort. As soon as they were inside of the ward Liam turned to Harry.
"Let's go to my office and talk."

Harry bit his lower lip.
"Can Louis come too?"

Liam shot Louis a quick glance.
"Okay."

They sat down. No one said anything until Liam cleared his voice and started talking.
"Okay Harry, I discussed this with the neurologist at the hospital and we both came to the same conclusion. The EEG and the MRI both showed abnormal electric activities in your brain. This can be caused by numerous of different things but considering your episodes as you call them we have come to the conclusion that you suffer from a form of epilepsy, called absences or petit mal. There's medication you can take which hopefully will control it and you'll be able to live a normal life."

Harry and Louis both stared at Liam in shock.
"So...I don't have Borderline?" Harry finally asked with a trembling voice.

"No, I don't think so. This is something we'll have to discuss with Dr. Horan but I can't see why he wouldn't agree with this new information." Liam answered softly.

Harry's eyes teared up.
"Four years... four years!" He was getting upset and shouted at Liam. "I've been locked up here for four years and no one would listen to me! Everybody told me I was mentally ill. My mum thinks I'm crazy! My life was taken away from me." He burst out crying and Louis immediately took him in his arms.

He held him close and whispered soothing words in his ear, not giving a damn that Liam was in the room with them. Harry clutched Louis's shirt and cried his heart out. Louis started to cry as well. This was heartbreaking. He could see that Liam also was affected. He wiped his eyes and looked at the crying boy in Louis's arms with sad eyes.

Harry calmed down after a while but kept his head on Louis's chest.
"So what happens now?" Louis finally questioned.

Liam smiled a little.
"Now we start to try out meditation to see which one will help. I'm gonna file a report. I can't suggest that you should sue this institution but...anyhow. I want you to stay here for two weeks more until the medicine works and then I'm gonna discharged, you Harry. How does that sound?"

Harry turned his head to look at Liam. "So...I can leave? I'm free? I think I love you, Dr. Payne."

Louis snorted at the love declaration.

"Call me Liam. I'm gonna talk to Dr. Horan now. You should try and get some rest. I'll get your new medication as well."

"Thank you, Liam. For everything. I owe you." Harry said emotionally and stood up.

Louis followed him out in the corridor without a word. His head was spinning. Harry was getting out of here. Harry wasn't mentally ill, he didn't have Borderline. This was unbelievable.

"I need a shower." Harry mumbled and gave him a look.

They hurried to collect the things Harry needed and locked themself in the private bathroom. Harry pinned Louis against the door and kissed him fiercely. Louis replicated the kiss and threw his arms around Harry's neck and pulled him closer. They both moaned into the kiss. Harry's hands found their way under Louis's shirt and he pressed his warm palms against Louis's skin.

Louis broke loose with a sigh.
"We still can't do this Haz."

Harry was breathing erratically and rested his head on Louis's shoulder.
"But I really want to."

"Me too Baby. Me too. Soon." Louis promised.

Harry sighed and got out of Louis's embrace. He took a step back and looked up at Louis with worried eyes.
"So you would still want to see me after I get out of here?" He asked in a small voice.

Louis's eyes grew wide.
"What? Of course! I can't wait! Why would you ask me that? I'm in love with you Harry."

Harry's lips twisted up in a hesitating smile.
"Yeah? I'm in love with you too."

Louis smiled at him and the both of them just stood there smiling like dorks for a long while until Harry's smile faded.
"I...I guess I have to go back to Holmes Chapel with my mum. I mean, I have nowhere else to go. I don't have a place or a job. Who would hire me? I've been institutionalized for four years!"

"No! You can stay with me. I don't want you to move away." Louis argued upset.

"That's sweet of you Lou, but I can't move in with you first thing and force you to take care of me. It would be like I was still in here in a way. I need to learn how to be independent and take care of myself. I'll figure something out." Harry's smile was back.

"You wouldn't force me to do anything but I get it. Of course, you need to build a life for yourself. Just, don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it. I'm here for you if you'd let me." Louis tried to reassure him.

"Thank you, Louis. I just want us to be equals, you know? I finally feel like we could be. I'm not crazy. I won't be locked up in a mental institution soon. I just need a little time to get back on my feet. I still have a hard time believing this is actually happening. I'm just waiting for someone to tell me it's a cruel joke." Harry answered.

Louis caressed his cheek with his hand and Harry closed his eyes and leaned into the touch.
"It's not Love. Take all the time you need. I'll wait for you."
