Chapter 6

Alex P.O.V.

"Alex!!!" I heard someone yell my name.
Once I turned around I saw Levi, Sammy, and matt walking towards me. they stopped right next to me, once they saw Ashton they asked: "who is this?"

This is Ashton. I met him this morning when he bumped into me.

"he's my mate," I said through the pack link.

They smiled. Then, they started introducing themselves to my mate "Hello, my name is Levi, this is Sammy and matt, we are Alex's best friends, nice to meet you!!" Levi chirped

"Hello, Levi, Sammy, and matt, my name is Ashton, nice to meet you." my mate said

"What happened?" asked Matt, when he saw my mate with a wrapped ankle and crutches.

"I bumped into him this morning before the first period and he fell and sprained his ankle" I explained.  I looked down and saw my mate blush. " Damn Alex, are you made of stone?" joked Sammy "haha, very funny," I said.

"It was my fault, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and bumped into him" he complained I chuckled when he tried to defend me.

"come on, let's go," I said after I helped in my mate up from where he was sitting. As we started walking towards my car. I noticed my mate lagging behind. I asked worried " are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, it's just my ankle is starting to hurt again and I'm tired from walking with crutches all day" he answered with labored breathing and had to stop to catch his breath. when I fully turned around and took a glance at him and saw the exhaustion written throughout his face, and the pain from his sprained ankle. "matt, Sammy, Levi, come here a sec" I exclaimed when I saw them ahead. "Levi carry his bag, matt carry his crutches, and Sammy go fetch the car and park it in the front" they quickly did what they were told. "Hey Ashton, wrap your arms around my neck, I'm going to carry you." he did so without much of a complaint. that's when I realized that he was very exhausted.

I picked him up and started walking towards the front of the school, which was a big campus, with Levi and matt by my side. my mate laid his head on my chest and I felt his eyes fluttering shut, I felt the tingles going through my body and heard my wolf purr at the proximity of our mate. 

Once I arrived at the front of the school, which was a really big campus. Sammy was already at the front with the car doors open. I laid Ashton in the back, with me climbing after, then Levi, Matt in the passenger's seat, and Sammy on the driver's side.

"To the packhouse," I said

I shifted Ashton to my lap as he fell asleep. his body looking so fragile, his hair fluttering over his face and his lids covering his hazel green eyes.  when he felt my shift, he whined and cuddled closer. I looked down at him adorably. How can someone be so cute I thought shamelessly.

Once Sammy turned the corner and arrived at the packhouse. I linked my father "father, I brought a friend, he's human, please tell the other to not shift around him since he doesn't know anything about us. "

"Already told the pack, don't worry. You can bring him in the house."

Once Levi got out of the car I climbed out after and carried Ashton to my room to rest for the time necessary.

How do you like the story so far??

I would like to apologize for not updating the chapters for a while. I am a freshman university student and needed some time to accustom to my new life and then boom it was finals week and I've been super stressed.
