"Now we're starting the 7th hokage inauguration ceremony, it will be hosted by me the 6th hokage Hatake kakashi, I would like to thank you all for coming" the 6th hokage spoke loudly to the gathering villagers as they looked up with eyes that held many different emotions excitement, happiness, surprised and pride
"Without any further, I will represent to you and I'm sure you all know the man who will take my place as the 7th hokage" they all knew who it would be, she wondered why they all came acting surprised
"Meet Uzumaki Naruto"
And everyone around her shouted and applause some jumped it was like everyone was flying and she was the only one who fell, she couldn't act happy, proud or....fine.
She wasn't, she felt this huge pressure on her chest on her shoulders, disappointed? Regrets? Hinata looked there was standing beside them Haruno Sakura and not her, her life was going back amazingly fast falling apart while everyone had built their future already since they were in the academy but her , she had this silly and ridiculous dream of Naruto
She felt numb, how she had wasted her life in years so many years, she could have been a strong shinobi who could protect herself and someone if she had neji would be beside her, she could have worked harder and be useful for herself then she would at least be her clan leader and her afther would be proud of her or maybe even after her engagement with now the seventh hokage she could have been a sensei to some team but she was nothing now. She stopped in the middle of her way to be a good wife for Naruto while everybody else kept going
And where did that led her? This?
She went deaf when they all cheered for their new hokage ignoring all the whispers about her and then turned around.

Sasuke came so late, he didn't want to be up there with them he preferred staying in the shadow than being under those people's eyes.
But even though he was right in the middle of them they weren't looking at him the traitor who turned his back to his people and left the village ,the last uchiha. they found a new target for their daily gossip
"How could she be here?"
"Didn't you hear? They broke up"
"She must be sad"
"I wonder how it felt to be in her place"
"I heard that she was exiled from being the head of the clan"
"I know right, such a shame"
These words passed through his ears but he didn't care about that person he was looking for someone else, he wondered what she chose to dress, how did she styled her hair, was she wearing any makeup?
But she wasn't there, Sasuke looked to the left and right and still she wasn't there
"This will break her even more when she see him"
They were still gossiping about someone, he wanted them to keep their mouth shut he needed to focus
(Hyuga Hinata where are you?) then stopped looking for her when few words flew out from someone
"She wasted her life for nothing"
Sasuke drifted his eyes to the direction where everyone were looking at As kakashi shouted the name of their new hokage everyone looked up
"Uzumaki Naruto"
But him
There she was, she wasn't up there she was few steps far form him but he didn't look here because she was supposed to be there.. his dark eyes was growing wider with every passing second as he looked up replaying the villagers talk then his eyes returned to her and he only saw her back, What happened?
Who broke up? Why was she here?
He had a lot of questions, a lot of them and he needed answers Sasuke tried to make his way through the crowd to look for her he pushed and glared and cursed and when he finally was out she was nowhere to be seen, he had the argue to send his snakes to look for her but he didn't want to make a scene he wanted her attention only hers
" dammit hyuga!"
He cursed scaring the poor kids who were speaking proudly of the hokage sasuke walked out away from the crowd because none of them mattered only her.

Naruto sat on the chair with wide eyes as kakashi threw all these dozens of papers on the table
"Well congratulations Naruto I hope you can fulfill your dream and become the best hokage"
Naruto chuckled and before he answered someone opened the door without a knock "Congrats Naruto you made it" he wasn't used to these kind of speech so he just rubbed his head awkwardly "thanks Konohamaru" even though he was younger than him he knew Naruto vey well so he didn't bother to bring him colorful flowers he brought a huge box full of ramen cups, "woow thanks man I need those!" Konohamaru shut Naruto's mouth "stop it you idiot" The 7th hokage didn't know what was happening until Konohamaru pointed to the opened door and saw her "Shizune would kill me if she knew I brought those" Naruto nodded his head and Konohamaru released him "ready for tonight? Let's go"
He left leaving Naruto smiling as he watched the sunset from the window he had done it.
He was the hokage now "Father ,mother , Jiraiya-sensei can you see this now? I'm a hokage now"

Shikamaru waited outside her house as always
Without feeling bored he waited with patience until she walked out looking as beautiful as ever but this time she looked different wearing a knee length yellow dress with white high wheels sandal Shikamaru wasn't someone who would know the details if someone's look but he noticed that she had painted her lips red letting her hair down flying with the wind "How do i look?" He wanted to drift his eyes from giving her a simple compliment and then go together but it seemed the most difficult thing to do he couldn't drifted his eyes they hanged on her
She was beautiful that something everyone in this village know about it maybe people from other village too but tonight she had dressed beautifully deciding to steal his heart again and again but he had to act cool so he turned "let's go"
And she followed holding his arm unaware of his beating heart close to her hands

All the hyuga were here, all the clans were here ,everyone were here but her.
Sasuke scanned the the sea of people in front of him and he couldn't find her the noise of the chair beside him woke him up "aah, it feels good to be back"
The man beside him sighed "Now that the responsibility was off my shoulders I will take a long rest" Sasuke rolled his eyes this old man wasn't going to make him continue his search for the hyuga
"Then go rest" Kakashi shook his head as he chuckled "first I will enjoy tonight then rest" sasuke sighed not wanting to deal with drunk kakashi
Someone else joined and this was the first time he was glad that she came now he can leave this old man with her and leave "kakashi you need to stop drinking already" Kakashi get sticky when every time he got drunk he will keep clinging on someone's arm for the rest of the night "why? I want to drink more"
Sasuke drifted his eyes to people who cheered loudly
And saw Naruto in the middle of them they carried him over their shoulders and sang together and sasuke had only one question (did it really happen?)
His female teammates poured him a glass and he gazed at her she had this look that he couldn't explain sad? Happy? Mad?
Sakura sighed "she isn't here" she whispered to him avoiding kakashi's ears he didn't ask where he kept quiet she looked at him with raised brow "you don't think she would stay here do you? After all they broke up" these words made everything clear all the questions he had in mind were answered "when?"
Sakura looked at him confused "you didn't know?"
She regretted speaking but he asked his question already and if she didn't tell him he won't waste his time he will ho straight to Naruto and ask him
"A while before your return but sasu—" he wasn't there anymore they were supposed to drink together tonight but he left

Sasuke walked through the empty streets the whole villagers were busy celebrating there only few people stayed this was one of the biggest celebration they had because it was Naruto their hero.
But Sasuke didn't care he walked fast in the streets heading to her house or the hyuga's.
He stopped when he looked at the ramen shop, that was weird the owner was at the celebration so who is here? He walked there and looked at the only person who was waiting for their order (sake) there was many empty bottle in front of her Sasuke sighed as he sat on the chair beside her.
"Hyuga" hinata raised her eyes to the new person beside her then she giggled making the world beautiful place "Sasuke-kun" she was drunk the dark shade on her cheeks tell how much drunk she was
Sasuke leaned on the counter as he stared at her pouring another cup for her ,what was the point of the cup if she was going to drink all the bottle?
He heard her sigh "why are you here Sasuke-kun? Shouldn't you be with them?" He didn't answer he wondered if this was the right time to say anything about the news he just heard "what happened?" He asked expecting from her to understand what he meant and she did "things fell out, we were unfitting for each other" she chuckled as she looked down to her drink tears filling her eyes "I thought I would be ok with everything because I'm old now and strong"
The disappointed look she had on her eyes explained how much she regretted a lot of things "hanabi-chan got the head of the clan and I was there beside her my you younger sister looked everything but me, I fought with Naruto so many times and you weren't around so I didn't have anybody to escape to and then i thought that i would be ok we broke up and i told myself that i was ok and now seeing him getting what he wanted and i got nothing even though he was the one at fault it hurts, I'm not ok" Hinata's tear rolled down her cheeks as she turned to Sasuke looking at him "but you" At that Sasuke replay all the moments he shared with her afraid that he might be one of the reasons but she smiled "You came and you washed away my pain and I'm scared that I might lose you too" Sasuke felt the warmth he missed running to every part of his body as she rested her hands on his knees and held herself up "Don't leave me too Sasuke" he wanted to answer to say something but he couldn't open his mouth his voice won't come out "I love you Sasuke-kun" when she whispered that sasuke managed to part his lips to say something but hinata defeated him as she pressed her lips on his, Sasuke's voice lost his breath stopped and he closed his eyes shut then opened them but she was still there her lips over his tasting the drink inside his mouth made him realize that this was real not, what should he do now? How could he react? She will regret this tomorrow how would Naruto react? Why did it matter? He broke up with her and she was the one who started this.
And he wanted this so much, so he gained the courage to left his hand and held her face pulling her closer to him, kissing her back making her taste every bit of him telling her how much he had waited for this telling her the stories of his sleepless night and his pathetic habits of waiting in front of her door in the early morning , he waited so much and he know that all of this might end badly he knows that she might not step inside his house again, she won't escape to him but it didn't matter now. Sasuke lost his thoughts when he felt her hands pulling him closer to him then Everything he got in his head disappeared.
