2 Weeks Later
Today was my last day here and I got to say that I might miss it a little bit... not. This place has been giving me hell. At one point, I thought I was going to die and I wasn't sure how I survived that but I did.
I was almost to LA and I couldn't wait to be home. When I landed I expected to see my management team there to pick me up but instead I saw someone else. I saw Colby Brock standing there smiling at me with my name on a piece of paper.
I ran over to him and jumped on him before laughing as he almost stumbled and fell.
"Colbyyyy! What are you doing here?" He laughed.
"What do you mean 'what am I doing here', I'm here to pick you up from your trip, duh." I grinned and hugged him tighter before releasing all together.
"Man it's good to be back and to talk to actual people. I thought I was going insane talking to the ghosts in that castle." He smiled.
"I bet. It doesn't help that you were there for 2 weeks by yourself." I nodded and we made our way to his car before making the long journey to my apartment.
Once we were there I walked in to see all of my friends there waiting for me. I couldn't help but tear up a little bit. I missed them all so much. The first ones to reach me were Lucas and Ashley. They hugged me as tight as possible saying nothing but sweet things to me.
Then I walked into the entire group and made them all hug me. I missed all of them. I started to actually cry and everyone started asking me what was wrong. I laughed a little.
"Nothing, I'm just happy to be home that place was actually hell." They laughed and we started to all talk and catch up with each other.
I was so happy and I didn't care if things were about to go wrong, nothing could change my mood at this moment. My friends all decided to go back to their apartments except for Colby, and my roommates. I was beginning to remember why I liked him. He was always here making sure that I was okay.
I walked over to my kitchen island and picked up all of the trash and food that was left over. I sighed. My friends never talked to me anymore and I wanted to know why. I finished cleaning and made a mental note to talk to my friends later when Colby was gone.
Colby was sitting on my couch on his phone relaxing but when I walked in he rushed to put his phone away. I giggled. I waved Colby over and grabbed his hand leading him to the elevator. I pushed the button to go to the top floor before dragging him to the stairs that led to the roof.
I walked onto the roof and looked at the scenery that I hadn't seen since the day I left. I missed LA. I started to think about my time at the castle and frowned. I was terrified. I could feel my body shaking as I remember the terrifying things that I experienced.
I felt hands wrap around me from behind and jumped slightly. I turned to see Colby looking at me with concern and I smiled softly and leaned into him. I wonder if Colby would help me edit the videos from the castle.
"Hey Colby?" He hummed.
"Would you like to help me edit the castle videos? I don't think that I could do it on my own." I felt him nod.
"Sure I'd love to." I smiled and pointed at a place in the distance.
"That's the abandoned place that I took you to." He followed my finger and grinned.
"You mean the place that you got arrested at?" I pouted.
"Rude bitch..." I felt him chuckle.
I wiggled out of his grasp and walked closer to the edge and leaned against it. I was confused. Colby and I weren't dating but we were acting like we were. I needed to stop before I got hurt. I knew he wouldn't intentionally hurt me, but he hadn't dated in a while.
I heard Colby walk towards me and I turned around and pointed to a light in the distance.
"That's the police station." I can always hear when something has gone wrong. I didn't like it but I liked knowing that I could run to the station if I was in danger.
"Why do you know what building is what?" I grinned.
"I like the idea of knowing my surroundings and if I need to I can get away and run to where I need to." He nodded slowly trying grasp what I was talking about.
Neither of us said anything. We both just stood and watched the city as it moved and lived through the night. I felt a sudden pain in my shoulder and knew that my stalker had probably shot me again. I tried not to make the pain noticeable but the blood coming from my shoulder would be a different story.
I told Colby that I should head to bed so that I wasn't tired in the morning and he nodded before leading the way to my apartment. I was happy to see him leading me so that he would not be aware of the pain that I was in. After unlocking my apartment, I opened my door and walked backwards so that he was unaware of my wound.
"Well it was nice to see you again, Colby." He nodded and tried to go in for a hug but I held out my hand. This was probably the dumbest thing for me to do to the guy that I liked but he couldn't know that I was bleeding.
"Uh yeah, I'll see you later I guess." I nodded and waved once more before closing my door.
As the door shut, I started to wince in pain, something was wrong with me. I called out for help from my roommates and as I started to see spots I saw Lucas run to catch me. I heard him tell Ashley that they needed to drive me to the hospital before I felt myself being picked up.
I could hear Ashley freaking out before finally I passed out...
