Chapter 47

This is Theodore John Brock 

Its been six months since we went to see my parents and Colby's and we were now preparing for the baby to be here at any moment. I was bigger than a watermelon and I felt horrible as I waddled everywhere. Colby had run to the store to grab us a few last minute things and I couldn't help but think about our baby. 

Theodore John Brock was almost here. I could feel a pain in my stomach making me cry out. I looked down to see what looked like water on the kitchen floor. Great... my water just broke. I quickly grabbed a towel and placed it on the mess. I grabbed new clothes and changed quickly.

I waddled over to my hospital bag and picked it up walking to Sam's apartment and knocking on the door. I could hear shuffling before a surprised Sam appeared at the doorway. I smiled slightly at him and his surprise because I haven't left the house much.

"Heya Sammy, I'm kinda having my baby right now do you think you could drive me to the hospital?" He nodded really fast before grabbing his keys and running to put his shoes on. 

I laughed as Sam grabbed my arm and led me to his car. He was being so careful not to rush me. I climbed in as another contraction happened. I cried out in pain and Sam jumped when he climbed into the car. I laughed and held my stomach.

"It's just a contraction Sam, I'm okay I promise. I need you to call Colby for me and tell him to meet us there." He nodded and called Colby as we made our way to the main road.

Colby's voice rang throughout the car, "Brotherrrrr....."

"Hey man, I'm with Aiden and she's going into labor so meet us at the hospital."

"Shit okay I'll be there soon." I laughed then cried out when I felt another contraction.

"Babe you okay?" I could tell he was worried.

"Fuck you for doing this to me Cole Robert Brock. I'm gonna kick your ass." I heard him laugh before he hung up.

Sam started to make his way to where a lot of traffic usually is and I groaned, "Samuel John Golbach, if you do not turn right and take the back way, I will fight you next." He laughed and turned right.

We finally made it to the hospital and I laughed when I saw a worried Colby waiting inside. I was placed in a wheelchair and they took me to my room. They let Colby in but when I looked back I could see the rest of our friends get here scaring Sam since he didn't know what was happening.

I was placed into my gown and prepped for the delivery. This was going to take a while and I could tell that I was crushing Colby's hand but giving birth without anything to numb the pain was terrible. I thought it was a good idea but I was exhausted in the end.

I could hear a baby crying and smiled when I heard Theo for the first time. Colby kissed my forehead before walking to check on Theo. The nurses helped to clean me up and Colby walked back in with Theo in his arms.

He brought him over to me and laid him on my chest so that I could feed him before our friends came barging into the room. After I was done I looked at Theo and I couldn't help but start laughing. I was 22 now and I had a baby. 

Colby left a few moments ago to go grab our friends and I smiled when I saw Theo holding my finger. We didn't know what color his eyes were yet because he hasn't opened them to look at us. I think that they are going to be blue like Colby's eyes. He already has our brown hair.

I heard quiet voices as the door opened to reveal Sam, Kat, Jake, Corey, Lucas, Jay, Brennen, Tara and Devyn. I smiled at them as the girls rushed over to see Theo in my arms. Colby walked over to me and placed his hand on my cheek. I smiled as he let our friends see our baby boy.

"Guys I want you to meet Theodore John Brock." As Colby spoke Theo opened his eyes and I started crying at how blue they were. 

Colby heard me crying and looked down to see Theo with his eyes open, "He's beautiful isn't he."

I let Colby take Theo and give him to Sam to hold. I looked at all of my friends as they crowded around Sam smiling and quietly talking so that they wouldn't disturb the baby. Colby walked back to me and sat on the bed taking me into his arms.

I felt content being here with everyone that I cared about. I couldn't believe that I had achieved so much in my life so far and I'm excited to see what happens next. I saw them passing around Theo and I could see them taking pictures and videos of the cute things that he does. 

"We did good Aiden Bradshaw." I looked up at Colby and I couldn't help but laugh.

"We did do good. I'm happy that our friends are here with us. I think I know who I want to be the Godparents of Theodore." He nodded at me to continue.

"I want Sam and Kat to do it because although I love Jay and Lucas, they tend to get into a lot of trouble and do crazy-dangerous stuff."

"Okay we can do that."

I grinned and called Sam and Kat over, "I want you guys to be the Godparents to Theodore in case something happens to either Colby and I. You guys are both very trusting and reliable people in our lives so we thought why not."

Kat gave me a hug and Sam hugged Colby. We spent the rest of the evening talking and laughing at cute things Theo did and how much he already looked like Colby. Our friends eventually had to leave, but we all smiled and told them they could visit when we got home.

It was Saturday and we weren't allowed to leave until Monday. I fed Theo again and Colby rocked him so that I could get some sleep after the exhausting day that I had. I was so happy that he was finally here. Our baby boy was finally here.
