Chapter 45

Its been a long flight but we finally made it to Kansas City, MO. I rented a car and began the short drive to my house. I was excited to be going home and I think Colby could tell because he put his hand on my bouncing thigh.

We arrived at my house and I could see my mom and brothers run out. I parked the car and climbed out only to be crowded by my brothers. I hugged them all as Colby grabbed our suitcases and set them on the ground next to us. 

I saw my mom walk to him and give him a hug and I laughed at how awkward he was at first. I let go of my brothers and walked to Colby and my mom pulling her away from him and grabbing her for a hug. She hugged me tightly and cried while saying 'her baby was home'.

I pulled away and grabbed Colby's hand so that my brothers knew not to fuck with us before leading him inside. I showed him around my home and laughed as he started gushing about how cute I was as a kid.

We walked down the stairs to be met with my family all there waiting for me. I laughed and ran to hug my dad since he just got home from work. I pulled him to Colby and left them to get acquainted. I was pulled to the kitchen by my mom and I laughed as she made me sit at the counter.

"He's cute, Aid. You guys are going to give me great grand-babies." I put my face in my hands and laughed as I blushed.

I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, "Thank you, Mrs. Bradshaw. I agree completely." 

Colby kissed my cheek and I smiled at him. He was making everything in my life so much easier for me and I loved him even more for that. Colby sat on the stool next to me and continued to talk to my mom finally loosening up around my family.

I grabbed his hand and squeezed it tightly. He looked over at me and grinned knowing that he was making me so happy. Everything in my life was perfect. I knew that I would need to be careful when I left the house now that the fans knew but I was happy.

I got up and walked to the sink washing my hands. I dried them and walked to my mom and grabbed the food that she was cutting and finished it for her smiling. She tried to shoo me out of the kitchen but I was too stubborn.

"Colby get your girlfriend out of my kitchen." I laughed at his reaction to my mom.

"Sorry Liz I would but she has me wrapped around her finger. She's the boss." My mom stopped moving and looked at us.

"I'm happy for you both. Welcome to the family Colby."

I kissed my mom and Colby on the cheek as they continued to talk. I walked out of the kitchen to see my brothers and my dad laughing at a soccer game playing. I missed this. I sat down on my dads lap and he wrapped me in a hug as we all watched the game. 

I felt a sudden movement in my stomach and grinned. I grabbed my dad's hand and put it on the baby's kicking. My dad smiled at me and I could see tears in his eyes. I kissed his cheek and closed my eyes getting used to the feeling of finally knowing that I have a baby in me.

"Colby come in here now!" He ran in looking worried and concerned.

"Theo's kicking. I want you to feel our baby kick." He ran to me and I grabbed his hand putting it on my stomach. 

We waited for a moment and then Colby felt him kick. I could see Colby grin and pick me up from my dad's arms. He carried me over to a chair and sat with me on his lap and I couldn't stop laughing as he rubbed my baby bump. 

My mom and brothers walked over to feel the baby kick and I just leaned on Colby as we watched my family get excited for my new family. After they stopped, I positioned my body so that I was more comfortable. I leaned up and kissed Colby on the cheek making his eyes flutter down to mine.

We just sat there staring at each other and I could tell that he loved me as much as I loved him. I turned my head to face the game and smiled when I felt him staring at me. He kissed my cheek and whispered that he loved me in my ear.

It was moments like these with Colby that I cherished. I couldn't wait to meet our baby boy and raise him together with the man I love. When I was leaving the kitchen earlier I heard my mom mention marriage and I could see Colby smile softly at the idea.

I knew that we both wanted to spend our lives together but we wanted to wait until we were a certain age before we got married. I focused back in on the game as our favorite team scored a point. We all cheered except for Colby because he looked a little bit confused. 

After the game was over we walked into the dining room and started dinner. I laughed as my family made pregnant jokes at me. I could tell that my brothers were as happy for me as they were when their wives were pregnant. 

I couldn't stop laughing as one of my brothers started to choke on his water. I could see my family smiling at me knowing that I was happy and complete. I felt Colby put his arm on my back and rub it. I smiled at him and thanked him. When I eat, the baby starts to move a bit more so Colby was always there to rub my back to help me out.

I could feel someone staring at me and I turned to look at my mom. She smiled at us knowingly and I grinned. This happened with my mom when she was pregnant with me. I continued to eat and winced when Theo kicked too hard. I looked to see if anyone noticed only to see Colby looking at me.

I grabbed Colby's hand and put it on my stomach. Colby felt Theo kick hard again and his eyes widened. I laughed at his reaction. He started to rub my stomach and eventually Theo stopped kicking me.

Once we were all done eating, Colby and I said our goodbyes to my brothers and our goodnights to my mom and dad. We made our way to my old room and I smiled at Colby as he climbed into bed with me. I kissed him goodnight and turned the other way.

Colby wrapped his arm around me and rubbed my stomach. I felt myself fall asleep with a smile on my face. Goodnight...
