Chapter 35

Its been about 2 weeks since I met Calum and he's been over at my house a lot. I went to his apartment a couple of times but my house was always a lot more fun to be at. I was currently doing homework for college because after a while of being gone I needed to catch up.

I had left college while I was at the safe house and since it was my last year in school I wanted to finish as soon as possible. I'm a Biology major with a minor in music. Having a minor in music was fun, but I had to make certain music and be in ensembles. 

I was told by Calum that he was gonna stop by later because he had a surprise. My response was, "cool when you get here I'm in my recording studio writing." I had to write a jazz piece for one of my classes and it was going okay so far.

I had written all of the pieces and I was about to edit them and play them. Sitting down, I grabbed my saxophone and put the reed in my mouth. After the reed was good to go I put it with the rest of my saxophone and tightened it. 

I heard a noise but when I looked up I couldn't see anything, so I got the saxophone part and began to play. I continued to play when I heard that something was wrong. I stopped playing and grabbed my pencil and made a mark to fix it. 

I played the part again and smiled slightly when I got the part to the way I wanted it to sound. I finished playing and I started jumping up and down. I'm so excited, I can't believe that I got that part right. The next part was the drum part. 

I had written the drum part late at night when I was tipsy, so I have no idea if its going to sound right. I sat at my drum kit and grinned because I haven't played the drums in a while and I missed it. I grabbed my customized drum sticks and looked at the part that I wrote for drums.

After some slight confusion, I began playing the part. It sounds so cool! The part was coming to an end so I put a little more effort into it before stopping completely. I heard cheering and jumped 3 feet in the air and turned to look at the door.

Calum walked in followed by 3 other people that I didn't know and ran to give me a hug. I hugged him back and laughed. We pulled away from each other and he pulled me to meet his friends.

"Aid this is Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin, and Michael Clifford. Guys this is Aiden Bradshaw." I shook each of there hands and moved to stand by Cal.

"Sorry about that I have to write a jazz piece for one of my music classes."

"That drum piece was awesome!" I smiled at Ashton.

"Thanks, I'm guessing you're the drummer of the band?" He nodded.

"Yeah, how many instruments can you play?" He looked around the room at all of the instruments. 

"I can play a lot because I like learning new instruments. Anything in this room I can either play or am in the process of playing." They all nodded and Cal walked over to my guitars hanging on the wall.

"Cal you can play them if you like, but I think I have an instrument that you would like more," I say as I walk over to where I keep my bass guitars.

I grabbed my favorite bass guitar and put it around Calum's shoulders before adjusting the straps to fit his body. I handed him a pick just in case he wanted to use it and sat on the couch in the corner. 

Cal started to play a few songs and I smiled. I motioned for the other guys to play their desired instruments and sat back as they all began playing a song that I recognized from the radio. I nodded my head along to the beat and laughed as they began messing around and playing random notes.

I ran to my grand piano and began playing notes that sounded good together. We all started to laugh and it was then that I noticed Calum had stopped and was now video tapping all of us be idiots. I stuck my tongue out at the camera and ran to tackle him to the floor.

I jumped at his side and pulled him to the floor with me. I couldn't stop laughing as the rest of his band jumped on top of us. Cal angled his phone at us and recorded us all laughing before posting it on twitter. 

I laughed and pushed all of the guys off of me before flipping up and landing on my feet. I heard gasps around the room and laughed. I ran out of the room and grabbed my camera before running back in and setting it up to show the whole room. 

I grabbed Calum's hand and dragged him to a spot in the room and then did that with Ashton, Michael, and Luke. I walked over to the camera and turned it on before grinning. I ran back to the other boys before facing the camera.

"HEY Y'ALL IT'S AIDEN AND TODAY I AM WITH 5 SECONDS OF SUMMERRRRRR!!!!"

They all laughed and waved.

"Okay so I know exactly what the comments are gonna be like but I will insert a clip of me talking to y'all later. Now because of my gymnast background and with me doing a lot of sports. I have a lot of agility, so I thought it would be fun if I taught these guys how to flip onto their feet from the floor."

I sat on the floor and demonstrated what we were learning and laughed once I was standing.

"Okay so that is what we are going to be doing and the step is to kind of roll on your back."

I sat on the ground and showed them the first step.

"So from this step you're going to push up by your head."

I showed them how to roll on my back and then push up by my head. Instead of coming back down I finished all the way through and straightened by body out. 

"Now after you push up by your head you are going to want to do a crunch move and then kick your legs up and land on your feet. You kind of have to do it all at once and once you have it its so much fun."

I motioned for someone to step forward and nobody did. I looked around the room and the only one that didn't look really nervous was Ashton.

"Ash you wanna go first?" He nodded slowly.

"Okay Ash we're gonna go slow at first since I don't want any of you to get injured so I'll be here to guide you."

"Okay that was the biggest concern for all of us."

I laughed and made him lay down. He started in a sitting position and then rolled back and put his hands down by his head and pushed up. Instead of letting him hit the ground, I grabbed his legs and made him do a handstand.

"That was good, we're taking it slow though so I'm going to make you hit the ground with your feet kind of like a back bend, but the pressure on your legs is close to the pressure it will be like when you land when you complete the trick."

He nodded and I made his legs drop slightly hard and after that he sat on the ground again. After about 4 hours of filming and teaching, the four of them had gotten it down and it was time to cut the video.

"Without further adieu, I will see you guys next week, BYEEEEE!" I ran to the camera and turned it off before laying on the floor. 

I closed my eyes and breathed out in relief of finally being done. I felt my watch buzzing with a notification. I opened my eyes to see Calum standing over me and I grinned. I flipped up and moved to grab my phone from the charger.

I clicked answer on my phone and pressed my phone to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Aiden?"

"Lucas?".....
