He was cold. You could tell that he was cold and wet from the way that he shivered as he trudged back up the slope a ways. I had been teaching him for about an hour now and even with the other warm things that we bought for him, he was still cold.

Colby was starting to get the hang of snowboarding and it was really funny watching him get used to the balancing portion of learning. After watching Colby fall again, I ran to where he was laying on the snow and looked down at him as he breathed heavily.

"Babe? You okay?" He nodded and I smiled.

I held my arm out to him and smiled, "Lets get you someplace warm." He grabbed my arm and hoisted himself up.

I let go of his hand since I didn't want people to know that we were dating yet and walked to the bottom of the slope. Colby followed me like a lost puppy and I could tell that he just wanted to be somewhere cozy.

Once we got to the bottom of the slope, I walked to the girls locker room and changed into my warm clothes before waiting in the lobby area for Colby. After about 5 minutes Colby walked out hugging himself and I smiled softly.

I had called an uber in the locker room so I made Colby follow me to where we were meeting them. The ride back to the hotel was uneventful, but watching Colby look at me in amazement as I spoke French to the driver was quite funny.

Once we got to the elevator of the hotel, I grabbed Colby's hand and pulled him closer to me. His touch was addictive and I wanted to be close to him at all times. I hugged his waist for a moment before letting go and grabbing his hand to lead us to our room.

"Go sit in the living room." I pointed to the couch and walked back to our room as he waited for me to get back.

I grabbed the blankets and heating pad that I had packed for moments like this before walking back to Colby.

"Stand up for me," I put one of the blankets down and motioned for him to sit down.

I grabbed the heating pad and plugged it in before making him sit up, so that I could place it on his back. Lastly, I made him lean back and I placed another blanket on him before wrapping him up in a little burrito. He smiled at me and I kissed his cheek before going to our room once more.

I went to Colby's luggage and looked for another hat that he could put on since the one that he had on was wet. Once I found one, I walked back to Colby and took his hat off. I sat on his lap and placed the new hat on his head before leaning forward and kissing his nose.

"Thanks, Aid. How long do I have to be a burrito?" I giggled.

"Not long, Colbs. Just long enough for your body temperature to get back to normal." He nodded and I got off of his lap.

I walked back to the kitchen and made tea for the both of us and I wasn't entirely sure if he liked tea but I knew that it would warm him up and I didn't have hot chocolate. I made my way back to Colby and set our teas on the table for a moment, so that I could unwrap him a bit once I could see that he was warmer.

I handed him his tea and smiled, "This will warm you up the rest of the way."

I turned toward the TV and grabbed the remote before turning on Hulu. I could feel eyes on me and I turned my head to see Colby looking at me. He had a certain look on his face and I was confused as to what he wanted or if there was something on me.

"What? Why're you looking at me like that?" He grinned.

"I'm just looking at my beautiful girlfriend. Where did you come from and how did I get so lucky?"

I couldn't help but smile at him, "You didn't get lucky, I did." I leaned back and cuddled into his side as he wrapped his arms around me. I pecked him on the lips which led to a full blown make out session.

As I started to run out of air, I pulled away from him and rested my forehead against his and smiled brightly. "You make me happy, Colbs." He grinned at me and pecked my lips once more before pulling me to his side to cuddle.

That was how the rest of the night went and I was starting to realize that I didn't need to be alone. I needed to stop pushing people away and I was excited to come back home. Now that I had Colby to help me get through anything I knew that I could live my life to the fullest.

3:30 in the morning

I was awoken to the sound of Colby's phone going off and I kept my eyes shut as I heard him shuffle around looking for it. Once he found his phone, he answered it and crept out of the room so that he wouldn't wake me up.

I wonder if something was wrong. With that thought I crawled out of bed and made my way to where Colby went to. After looking around for a moment, I heard his voice from the balcony and hid behind the curtain to the door.

The door was cracked so I could hear his conversation, "Okay we can talk now, what's up Sam?"

I frowned why was Sam calling Colby at this time in the morning. My thoughts were answered when I heard Sam shouting on the other end about doing a ritual and it went wrong. I hated that these boys did this to themselves, but they loved looking for these type of things and I wasn't going to stop them.

"Sam, hey, it's okay... I know that I'm far away right now but I'm still here for you. You know where my key is man why don't you stay in my apartment for the night so that you feel safe. It's 3 a.m here man so I need to get some sleep."

I could hear Sam asking about me and I smiled widely, "Aiden's great. She is the best girlfriend that I have probably ever had and she makes me happy man. Hell, she took care of me after she taught me how to snowboard. She's incredible."

I heard Colby begin to say his goodbyes and my eyes widened. I ran back to our room quietly and laid in bed trying to calm my breathing. By the time I was calmed down, Colby walked into the room and climbed into bed.

I felt him wrap his arms around me and I pretended to wake up, "Colbs?"

"Shhh go back to sleep, I'll tell you in the morning." I pretended to be confused and nodded my head.

I snuggled my back into Colby's chest and smiled. Goodnight.....
