"Y/N, please, go on a date with me. You've been stressing way too much recently," Keith begged me.
"No, Lotor is still out there, what if something happens while we're on that date," I looked at Keith, rubbing my temples.
"If something happens, we leave," Keith told me.
I sighed knowing he wouldn't leave me alone until I agreed. "Fine."
"Good! Go get dressed, and grab a helmet, we're leaving now," Keith said.
"Wait, now?! But I haven't-" Keith interrupted me.
"I've taken care of it," Keith left the room so I could get ready,
I rolled my eyes at my boyfriend and slightly giggled.
Date
Keith never told me where we were going so I didn't know how to dress. I but on a casual dress and some matching converse with some light makeup. Keith looked at me and I swear I saw his mouth fall open, but he denied it.
Keith dragged me to his motorcycle and hopped on. I hopped on behind him and held onto his torso after putting on helmets. He started zooming out of the parking garage. I automatically got scared at how fast we were going.
"Keith! It's been how many months and I still haven't gotten used to your driving!" I yelled at Keith.
"Well you should really get used to my driving!" Keith yelled back at me. (If you know where that's from I love you)
"Where are we going?"
"You'll see!" Keith only went faster.
Keith drove us to a cliff overlooking the city. It was beautiful staring up at the night sky and being able to overlook the city in the distance. Keith got off of his bike and I followed soon after, taking off my helmet and letting my hair fall freely.
"Keith, it's-"
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Keith finished my sentence. "I come here whenever I'm stressing about something. It relieves stress."
Keith grabbed my hand and pulled me over to the edge of the cliff. I looked down and saw a river flowing many feet below us. Keith had a picnic set up for us and he sat me down. We had a good time eating and talking. By the end of the night, I had my head rested on Keith's chest as we stared at the city we helped protect in the distance. I couldn't even remember why I was so stressed.
Keith stood up, urging me up as well. We weren't going back to his motorcycle, so confused, I stood there, waiting for him to do something. What he did was something I wouldn't have expected. Keith grabbed hold of my hands.
"Y/N, I know we got off to a rough start, I mean, I was an absolute dick to you. I shot you a couple times," Keith let go of one of my hands to rub his neck awkwardly as he sighed guiltily. "Despite how we met, I was able to find love with you, and I didn't know much of that before I met you. You set off a spark in my heart that makes me feel so happy. You bring out the good in me. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Keith got onto one knee and pulled a box out of his pocket. By this time, I was a crying mess. "Will you marry me?"
I began nodding, too happy to speak. "Yes! Yes, Keith!" I pulled him up and I hugged him. Keith squeezed me and kissed me, putting the ring on my finger.
One Year Later
"Are you sure you're up to this?" Keith asked me, as I was getting ready for Mason's trial.
I looked back at Keith, having trouble with the necklace latch and silently begging him for help. Keith walked over to me and turned me around so he could help me.
