Thornwood, California
Cayden awoke to the sound of knocking on his door, rubbing his eyes and sitting up, he called out for the person to enter. The door opened revealing his immortal and beautiful aunt Rebekah, she had blond hair, fair skin, and striking blue eyes that only held motherly love as she looked at her nephew.
Rebekah has to do a double take as she looked at her nephews face seeing how he looked so much like her father. He had his fathers blue eyes, and blond hair, as well as his skin tone, she had to hold herself back from think about her family that was in New Orleans.
"Aunt Bex." Snapping her out of her thoughts was the voice of the teen that laid in bed looking at her confused. "Are you ok?"
Taking in a breath Rebekah moved the few strands of stray hair out of her face before nodding her nephew, putting a smile back on her face. "Yes, of course. Now come down it's way past the time for you to be in bed especially since you have school in about twenty minutes."
Cayden groaned attempting to fall back on his bed but underestimated the amount of space he had moved, and instead hit the wall behind his bed. Rebekah laughed at her nephews pouting face. "We'll meet you downstairs."
Cayden rubbed his head feeling the small bump on his the back of his head fade as his hand touched it. Getting out of bed the teen walked to his closet putting on a shirt and changing pants and putting on worn vans, before heading down the stairs to meet with his sister and aunt.
When he arrived he saw his small family doing the usual morning routine. His aunt was making them breakfast and his sister was sitting on her phone, he knew who she was texting, she had recently gotten Landon Kirby's number after one of their arranged meetings at Landon's work at the local restaurant hotspot.
Taking his place next to his sisters as the smell of eggs, bacon, and oil burning filled his nose. The teens mouth watered as he thought of the food, not holding back when his aunt presented said food in front of him, he ate not caring how he looked. Looking up he met his sisters wide eyes accompanied by an amused smile on her face. "What"
"Don't talk with your mouth full, it's bad manners." His aunt scolded him as she gave him the same expression when she looked at him. "And slow down your going to choke on your food."
Swallowing that last of his food the teen gave his aunt a slightly taunting smirk, she gave him a playful glare. "And the award for biggest pig goes to?" Hope sarcastically waved her hand in Caydens direction, the latter pouted a bit before smirking, grabbing Hopes phone as he passed by her to put his dishes away.
The female tribrid stood up and immediately began to chase after him. "Cayden Henryk Mikealson, get back here right now."
Rebekah just smiled at the siblings, she secretly enjoyed moments like this, moments where the kids acted like just that, kids. Moments like this were the reason that she was happy that she had taken the kids, if she hadn't they would have grown up to soon, having inherited the Mikealson families enemies.
The yelling drew the attention of the other four teens that were walking down the stairs. Sabrina and Ashlyn attempted to grab Hope's phone back, but their efforts were futile against their Tribrd cousin. They weren't as fast as him or the other two Marshall-Mikealson kids, the three of them were Tribrids, the two of them along with their cousin King were only hybrids. Those who were part wolf haven't triggered their curse, none of them had triggered their werewolf curses, so they didn't have the werewolf speed or strength.
All except Cayden who, after almost being rapped, killed his ex-boyfriend on accident, he had used to much of his vampire strength added on with his magic made his strength even stronger. The boy was sent flying through the air until he hit the alley wall behind him, cracking and breaking many bones including his neck causing him to die instantly. That night Cayden came home with blood on his hands and told, more like sobbed to his family hat had happened, if it wasn't because he the boy was already dead then Thomas and King would have killed him after hearing what he tried to do to the older male. Rebekah compelled the sheriff to declare it an accident and compelled the boy's family to leave the town, she also never told Klaus or Hayley about the accident knowing her brother would return and try to slaughter the boy enemies family.
Besides Cayden no one in his family that had the wolf gene had triggered it, the only other wolves being, Sabrina, Hope, and Thomas, King and Ashlyn were hybrids of vampire and witch. That made Cayden the strongest and fastest in the house along side Rebekah, he had all of his supernatural abilities like the speed and strength from both werewolf and vampire sides as well as his witch powers.
The rest of the group — besides Sabrina — made up for it will their natural Vampiric strength and speed. But Sabrina made up for it by having the strongest magic and control of magic out of all of them. Rebekah always told her she got the control and strength from her mother, Freya.
Hope finally managed to catch her brother after she cast an aneurism spell on him, the teen fell to the floor in pain, and Hope got her phone back. The rest of the teens had watched as they ate their own breakfasts, they smirked and hid their chuckles when Cayden looked up at them. The teen grumbled "cheater" as he walked up the stairs to get his bag for school, when he reached his room his phone went off, pulling out of his pocket he saw it was his boyfriend Shawn.
He read the text that said that Shawn was waiting for him outside, he and his family each had their own ways of going to school, despite each of them actually being able to drive themselves. Maybe not legally but most of them could compel their way out of getting in trouble.
Vamping downstairs Cayden gave his aunt Rebekah a kiss on the cheek before running, at human speed, outside to reach his boyfriend. Entering the black Mustang his boyfriend owned, his boyfriends family had a very decent amount of income considering they were descendants of very rich ancestors, those ancestors happened to be hunters. Shawn was actually a hunter himself until he discovered his boyfriends secret, his families secret, and convinced his parents that they weren't the enemies and with the help of his sister they created a new hunters code.
Cayden leaned forward intending to kiss Shawn but stopped when he felt his lips sting as they got closer to his. Pulling back Cayden gave his, sheepishly smiling boyfriend, a look, an all to familiar look. "Vervain. Seriously?"
Pulling out of the parking lot, and driving down the road, Shawn glanced between his boyfriend and the road. "Hey, you know my parents. They trust you and your family, they just don't trust the rest of the supernaturals in this town."
Cayden rolled his eyes knowing his boyfriends speech by heart, his parents trusting the Mikealson family mainly, but sighed knowing they had a right to be suspicious of the other supernaturals in the town. The town was known for the many mutters and unsolved disappearances that happened, unknown to the locals most of the people that had died or disappeared at the hands of the supernatural, many news anchors tried to report the disappearance but would be shut down by the mayor and officers.
Arriving at the school the two were met with all eyes on them, the two were use to the stares considered how good looking all the Mikealson and Argents were, the two stood in front of Shawn's car talking and awaiting the rest of the Mikealsons.
Rebekah was preparing to leave to run some errands because the twins birthday was tomorrow, but was interrupted by someone knocking on the door, releasing a groan the beautiful blond walked to the door. Throwing it open Rebekah was prepared to compel the person away and continue with her day, but was surprised to open the door releasing her family.
Klaus Mikealson's smug, thickly accented voice filled the room. "Hello little sister we're home."
