Mom: Oh hey Chaeyoo. How was school?

Chaeyoo's mother was a single mom. Her dad had already left them.

Mom: *chuckles* Did something happen?

Chaeyoo: .....nah. It's actually still the same. I'll go to my room.

Chaeyoo was laying on her bed while turning the pages of her photobook.

Chaeyoo stopped on the page where it had a photo of her dad carring her when she was still little. Without realizing, a tear dropped from her eyes.

It was her dad who messed up so bad that Chaeyoo promised herself not to get too close to boys. Her father had left his wife and daughter for a another- a better woman than Chaeyoo's mother.

But her mom didn't allow herself to just cry forever over that asshole who didn't care about his family. She tried her best to move on and focus on raising her daughter.

Chaeyoo: *wipes tears* Ugh why am I like this? Ew
