Shinkai Kanata - Blazer

A/N: this oneshot isn't a request and is more of a self indulgent drabble so I hope you guys don't mind HAHA because the only non-request oneshot I've written so far is my first Ritsu oneshot, hope you guys enjoy!!

Also i love the meteor rangers mv very much qjwnbhakqubx side note i just realised this oneshot and my previous rei oneshot both takes place in summer even though now is like February and should be winter LOL

The weather was starting to grow warmer and the students of Yumenosaki were starting to come to school in their summer uniforms.

You enter the school gates and slowly stroll towards the school building.

Normally, you would arrive to school early and leave school late due to your busy schedule as a producer. However, today was a rare chance where you could sleep in a bit more and arrive at school a little later.

You take your time to walk to the school building as you look around to see other students of Yumenosaki also in their summer uniform.

Suddenly, you spot a familiar figure floating in the school fountain.

You could see some students casting weird glances at the figure. You hear people whispering and questioning why there was a body in the fountain.

You hear a whisper from a nearby student, "What on earth is that unidentified floating blob in the school fountain?!?"

You sigh and mumble to yourself, "Why do I have to do this? Why me? Every time!"

Ever since the time you first met Kanata in that very fountain, it had basically become routine for you to pull him out.

When you first met your upperclassman, you were actually pretty disturbed by the fact that he would just lie down in the school fountain with all his clothes still on. (Not that having his clothes off was any better) But at this point you've accepted the older male's questionable tendencies.

You exhale deeply as you trudged towards the fountain to talk to the 'unidentified floating blob'.

You ignore the gazes of the other students as you approached the fountain. You peer into the water, watching the male who was lying inside.

The male had a peaceful expression, eyelids gently closed, as if he was asleep.

"Shinkai-senpai..."

The older male's eyes fluttered open. The male slowly sat up and turned his head to the source of your voice.

Noticing you, his original expression of innocent confusion morphed into a winsome smile.

"Anzu-saaan~ Puka~ Puka~"

Seeing the older male's adorable smile, your strict expression disappears as you break into a smile of your own.

"Shinkai-senpai, class is starting soon, you have to get out and..."

You stop yourself.

Looking at your upperclassman's completely drenched uniform, you sigh inwardly.

"...Senpai, why are you wearing you're blazer? We're switching to our summer uniforms today."

You silently pinch the bridge of your nose, thinking about how the blunet's blazer would take a longer time to dry.

You glance at the time on your phone.

"...Forget it, I'm going to be late at this rate," you stuff your phone back into your bag.

You dropped your bag beside the fountain. "Senpai, I'll be back soon with a towel, don't go to class looking like this..."

From the time you started talking , the male only watched you happily without actually absorbing whatever you had said.
