"Aaaaa, finally I'm done~"

Satisfied, you look through the math worksheet you just completed. You were learning integration and was having quite some trouble understanding it so you stayed back in school to study a little and catch up with your homework. 

You glance out the window noticing that the sun was beginning to set and students who stayed in school for club activities would be going home soon.

After stuffing your worksheets into your bag, you lazily slung it over your shoulder so that the bag was resting on your back while your hand was resting on your shoulder while grabbing the handle of the bag.

You make your way to the shoe lockers, lightly leaning against them for support while you were changing into your outdoor shoes.

Just then a rather tanned male happened to be passing by. Adonis was doing a short cool-down jog around the school campus when he glanced into the school building to find a small figure lingering around the shoe lockers.

... Is that Anzu? Why is she going home so late? Should I ask her? Wait no... I could surprise her if I suddenly called out to her from behind... The male unconsciously slowed his jog until he gradually came to a stop while deep in thought.

Feeling someone's gaze on you, you look up from your shoes to glance around, looking for the source the gaze. You then notice a certain classmate of yours, deep in thought with his brows slightly furrowed.

"Ohh, Adonis-kun! Has practice for the Track and Field Club ended?"

Adonis suddenly looked up, noticing that you had now walked out of the school building and was walking towards him. 

The male nodded slightly. "Yes, I am now going on a short cool-down jog to ensure I do not get sore muscles the next day, how about you? It's quite late already and you're still in school."

You laugh a little while scratching your head, "Haha... I was trying to catch up on Integration because I didn't understand a thing in class..."

"That's commendable of you, Anzu. Despite being so small... you're always working hard everyday."

"Ah! No, it's only natural to work hard, there's nothing commendable about it..." you offer a small smile, slightly embarrassed at the compliment.

The male glanced towards to sky before turning back to you, "The sun has almost set, it is dangerous for a young girl like you to go home alone... Shall I walk you home? I'll go change out really quick..."

Before you could even process his offer, the male had already jogged off to go and change. You smile a little at the kind offer, walking back towards the school building and leaning against a pillar to wait for your classmate.

After a few minutes you see his figure jogging towards you and you wave slightly to him.

While walking out of the school gate you felt your phone vibrate in your pocket. It was a message from your mum saying your younger brother was eating dinner at a friend's house while she and your dad are eating out, so they told you to settle dinner yourself.

Looking back up from the message and turn to the considerably taller male, "Sorry for the trouble, but is it okay to drop by the convenience store? I'm going to buy some bread."
