A/N: hi friends just wondering, will you guys be sticking with basic, or moving to music or play both? Because there's so many games coming out this month (like enstars, hypmic, twisted wonderland) idk if I can play so many games and cope with school but I'm still going to play them oops ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ side note why are guys requesting angst i just want to write fluff until all our teeth rot from how sweet it is HAHAHA (jk feel free to request anything on the requests page lol) side note idk how to write Mika's speech habits skajsnndcj so I apologise in advance

Also in celebration of enstars music and basic getting released, I wanted to post on Sunday but i was too occupied playing enstars and twisted wonderland HAHA (to anyone who plays please scream about it with me LOLOL) so I'm posting 6 days later than I planned to oops

Thud thud thud

Knocking your head repeatedly on your table, you groan in pain.

"I didn't think that would hurt so much..."

You rub your throbbing forehead in defeat looking at the mess of papers and books infront of you.

Today was the first time in a while where you were free the whole afternoon. For the past week, you were so occupied with producing and planning, but finally your schedule for today was empty.

However, being so busy the past week left no time for your schoolwork. So you had to spend your only free day finishing your piled up homework. After classes ended, you decided to stay in your classroom to complete all your homework.

You stare at the math equation infront of you and hit your head on the table again.

"Ow... I should not have done that again..."

Unable to solve the first question, you massage your temples and decide to skip to the next one.

"Arghhh when will I ever need to differentiate an exponential equation in the future? Who the h*ll cares about dy/dx? Definitely not me!"

You smack your pencil on the table and hide your face in your hands, trying to calm down. Thankfully, it was currently in the late afternoon and the classroom was empty, so no one would hear you grumbling and complaining.

You were tired and just wanted to sleep, but unfortunately you couldn't afford to spend time resting. Head resting in your hands, you couldn't help but to start tearing up. You wanted to quickly get this done and over with but you didn't even know how to start.

"Hmmm~...? Mhaaaa~...? My sweets...?"

You hear a voice coming from the entrance of the classroom. Startled, you hurriedly use your sleeves to wipe your tears away to hide the fact you were crying. You look up to see who the voice belonged to.

You notice another student crouched down along the corridor, outside the entrance of your classroom, as if he was looking for something. You watch the ravenet mumble incoherently to himself, something about a hole in his pocket?

The male turned his head to look behind him, so you were able to see his face. Ahh... It's Kagehira-kun, how come he still hasn't gone home yet?

Noticing you sitting in the classroom, he called out, "Ngaa...? You're still in school? It's already so late, shouldn't you be goin' home?"

You awkwardly smile and explain your current predicament of having too much incomplete homework. In the midst of your explanation, you started feeling a bit too emotional and started tearing up again.

You panicked and started to wipe your tears away, not wanting to worry Mika. However the stress you felt from your homework and trying not to worry others, was overpowering and you could not stop crying.

The male frowned slightly, looking kind of confused. He rushed towards you and pulled out a handkerchief to wipe your tears away.

"Ngaa... 'm sorry... I dunno how to comfort people... or help ya' with schoolwork... 'm really useless but I'll do wha'ever I can?"

The male gingerly, but gently placed his arm around your shoulder, squeezing it to provide you comfort. You lean slightly into the ravenet, trying to calm yourself down.

After a while, your sobs slowly turned to hiccups as you suddenly start to calm down. Eyes still puffy, you slowly raise your head in embarrassment and look apologetically at the male. "Sorry about that... I was feeling a little stressed..."

Suddenly, something occured to the male and he removed his arm from your shoulder. He started to fumble around his blazer pockets, trying to look for something.

"Uungaa...? I forgot there's a hole 'n ma uniform pocket? My sweets fell out... 'm sorry, I wanted to give ya a sweet but I don' have any?"

You chuckle slightly, touched by his efforts to make you feel better. You dig around your pockets and found two sweets of your own. You smile gently as you offer one of the sweets to him.

The male thanked you softly, as he popped the sweet into his mouth.

"Kagehira-kun, if you want, I could help you fix up that hole in your pocket, I have sewing kit with me right now?"

The ravenet unconsciously ruffled his hair in embarrassment, "Nghhh... 'm sorry, I wanted to make ya feel better, but it's turnin' out to be the other way 'round..."

You laugh silently, although Mika did not really do anything, you already felt much better and relaxed. For some reason the mere presence of the ravenet seemed to soothe and comfort you.

The male slowly placed his arm on your shoulder again, while giving you a questioning look, as if asking for your permission. You nod slightly and he extended his other hand to hug you. Returning the hug, you smile into the male's shoulder.

Although the ravenet was scrawny, his small stature still seemed firm and reliable to you. Even if Mika felt like he didn't do much, he really did a lot to help you calm down.

"I... won' be much help... but we can do the homework together m'kay? 'M not able to do many things... but I'll try ma best 'n I'll always be here for ya!"

Extra scene:

"H-hey, 'm not sure... but... isn' this the wrong page of the textbook?" The male inquired as he squinted at the textbook.

"What?"

"Ngaa... we haven't learnt this topic yet, ain't that why ya can't solve it?" The male asked innocently, widening his heterochromia eyes as the shine a little.

You squint at your notebook where you recorded all your homework. You look at the messily scribbled 'page 158' on your notebook. Looking more carefully you realised it was an extremely messily written '138'.

"Are you kidding me..." you slam your forehead on the table. "Agh... I should not have done that..."

Startled by the loud bang, the male stared worriedly at you.

Amazed at how stupid you were for crying over nothing earlier on, you start to laugh a little, "hehehe..."

Mika expression turned to one of concern, "Nghhh... ya alright?"
